Delta Airlines launches new non-stop service from tuls International Airport to New York's gordia International Airport today we're going to talk about all you need to know about this new connection from Delta from here in Tulsa to the Big Apple I hope all of you are excited for this and without any further delay let's go ahead and get started everybody it's a super exciting day here at tuls International Airport everybody as Delta Airlines launches their new non-stop service to New York's Gloria international airport so in today's video I want to tell you all you need to know I'm going to read off the press for you today and I'm also going to go into some detail from my analysis and what I was able to observe during the initial launch of this route here today so let's go ahead and read the press release everybody and we'll just go ahead and get into it so for immediate release at Tulsa Oklahoma September 4th 2024 Tulsa International Airport proudly celebrated the inaugural flight of Delta airlines' new non-stop service connecting Tulsa to New York City's Loria airport LGA this morning the addition of this route is a significant milestone for the Tulsa Community further strengthening our connection to one of the world's most iconic cities New York City continues to be a top destination for travelers from the Tulsa area with an average of 116 passengers flying each way between the two cities daily this new service not only meets the growing demand but also provides tulson with increased flexibility inconvenience when traveling to the Northeast service information from tuls International Airport again this flight will be to Loria airport it began today September 4th 2024 and is currently being operated on the crj-900 aircraft but will at some point need to know and that regard so let's go ahead and get into my analysis of it and yeah very similar thoughts to the video that I made last August when the route was announced you know it's obviously going to be a huge link considering how much demand there is 116 people per day is a huge number and I feel like this Delta flight will really help Elevate that number along with giving more tulson and people around the community the opportunity to travel to New York for the first time so they'll be joining American Airlines as they started this service in November of 2022 and this will prove powerful as a great connection between the two cities so now you have two options obviously fairs will get better out from that and yeah so it really proves that Delta's committed to this service and they don't add rout unless that they're confident it's going to perform well and judging off those numbers I think Delta's going to do really well the inaugural flight only had I believe 22 open seats this morning which isn't bad considering it was a Wednesday obviously coming off of peak travel time so I'm really excited to see how this route performs and it looks like the bookings are only going up from what I've looked at on the seat map so it's definitely super exciting to see where Delta is moving towards with the service and once again I think it's going to prove quite powerful for them in the long run and hopefully to more new services in the future so I was able to take the first ever flight the inbound inaugural if you want to call it that from Loria airport to tuls International Airport on September 3rd 2024 which was yesterday what an awesome time it was it was a 3-hour flight and it was super convenient was able to check out the brand new facility for Delta Airlines at Loria airport and safe to say that it's one of the nicest in the United States it's clean it's modern it's sleek and it just looks absolutely wonderful if if you ever get a chance to check out that facility I highly recommend it but for the Tulsa community and what it means moving forward it is such an exciting time if you are especially a fan of Delta Airlines this is their first new route here since 2006 when they had a focus City at Orlando International Airport and again it's a super exciting time so I'm really eager to see where the future lies here at tuls International Airport on the screen now you've seen kind of some of the inaugural feses and celebrations and it was really well celebrated and really well attended so that was absolutely wonderful and again it was a wonderful time really enjoyed the experience and excited to see what Delta's next move will be here at tuls International Airport there was some representatives there today as you kind of heard about and they're really excited about the future here they're definitely encouraged by what they've seen from load factors and other factors here at tuls International Airport so they're really eager to continue to expand the market and hopefully that means new services but expanded Services as well so it's a really exciting time here at tuls International Airport I'd love to hear in comment section what you think about what's going on but yeah this is additionally one more note and they kind of talked about in the Press too but this will definitely be a huge connecting opportunity as well there's a bunch of cities to connect in in in my particular case excuse me I was able to connect in Greensboro when coming to Loria the or sorry go to Greensboro and then connect through Loria coming to Tulsa so there are a bunch of connecting opportunities there's so many flights out Gloria airport so there is opportunity for connections too on top of the non-stop demand so that just shows you what this route will prove for Delta and how awesome it's going to be I had a wonderful time on the first inbound flight yesterday and it was really awesome so I really enjoyed it and I hope all of
