bad there's so many other external factors that contributed to this game's failure oh my gosh this [ __ ] was so annoying look this game is too bloated there's way too many cooks in this kitchen all trying to check off boxes of what they imagined would result in the largest number of possible sales they wanted to appeal to everybody and by doing that they appealed to nobody I think it's horrifying to think about what Sony could have spent their time and money on instead of Concord yeah it's like they didn't even have a target audience they was just kind of just like for one they could have not shut down Japan Studio a new Twisted Metal honestly I would have taken not shut down Japan Studio a new twisted ah that would have been so fire bro metal honestly I would have taken PlayStation Home 2 over this companies will Analyze This failure for years to come because it did everything wrong and that's unique this is a unique way to fail but I imagine Sony already knows this see for a while Sony has been trying to push for more live service games from its biggest Fran I remember this hold on where's the other one oh it was it was this one hold now this one here now this one here [Music] I would literally just sit on this screen I would literally just sit on this loading screen just jamming out to this [ __ ] oh my gosh why are we why are we you know why are we not like it's like they bring back [ __ ] and then mess it up but like the [ __ ] that they should really be bringing back they don't do like what are we doing broes Last of Us online Horizon online and Bungie who they acquired a few years ago was supposed to be in charge of managing all of this but it turns out the situation at Bungie it was it was just a complete mess financially management wise stuff was bad stuff is really bad a lot of projects from PlayStation Studios got cancelled a lot of Life Services a lot of bunge I mean what this doesn't even look cool though like [ __ ] like this just looks boring staff got laid off and Bungie was basically restructured at the time I thought this was pretty drastic I mean Sony had spent a lot of money on Bungie and looking back maybe this was in part due to Concord like Sony would have had the pre-order numbers on this game and like it would have been in the single or double digits for steam you know it would have been bad this this is astonishing to me I've never seen a game fail this badly in terms of you know just money this game was such a catastrophe it probably changed how Sony views live service games you should have just made a new Kill Zone Sony made a new Kill Zone probably probably not with these character designs though I don't know if that I don't think that would go over very well again huge thanks to fabletics for damn W video hopefully uh you know the gaming world has woke up and and now they're they're like Okay so let's not do that again let's not do that again I just want me personally just just me personally selfishly I just want more single shooter with absurdly uninteresting Heroes simple and plain I just want more single player games and I understand that it's not like well you can't even really say there's not a lot of money in that because look at what Wukong just did maybe if you just took the time to make a good ass single player game you don't always just got to rely on multiplayer games to have people play it over and over again and hopefully they spend something on some [ __ ] uh new clothing or some new weapon or some [ __ ] like that I want more good single player games cuz I just enjoy playing a good story so I just enjoy playing with something with a good story man and hanging out with the chat bro that's just me personally
