there's actual January 6 Insurrection is right across the street they attack the capital and there are also people who support the January 6 insurrectionist who are right over there so I think it's important as an elected representative of this great City to oppose them at every turn possible and I've been doing that now for a long time so they're memorializing Ashley babit um because uh she did serve as a veteran um but she betrayed our country when she um was part of a coup attempt in the capital so what I'm opposing is and have been opposing for all this time are people who support um Insurrection attempts who who support auring or democracy so that's why I'm here and that's why I've been here and again I might be alone but I think that as someone who is a commissioner as someone who's running for higher office I think it's very important that at least somebody here is at least present and opposing them bu of Los of tra Traer theate Luther [Applause] trailer crash bunch of trailer [Applause] crash we're standing up for our first member rights at this capital on January 6 2021 no there are good police officers everywhere and uh we support those good police officers those ones that didn't do good things on January 6 we hope that they come forward and recognize the a their ways because a lot of people were instigated into the violence that's portrayed and a lot of customer service in my life certain people have a responsibility for that TJ firing pepper rounds and flashbangs into a peaceful crowd is not the mark of a good police officer that's that's really sums it up Ashley Ashley Ashley B Ashley pj6 pj6 pj6 Donald Trump yeah well I I did uh post some videos in um in and on Facebook well I thought you know that was a legal rally to there so after days later um FBI let's keep going so after uh days later uh FBI uh was looking for me so they question me they question uh my aunts uh they question me my aunt told me what uh they're looking for you so I let him know yeah I was just out there and I would like to remain silent because I don't feel like uh saying anything that can be used against me basically so uh 10 days later after January 6 uh yeah they broke in my house and they uh SW my house and they put me on handcuffs I didn't well nothing happened to me well thankfully nothing happened uh I was just arrested I have to spend uh well 11 months because uh they violate I had a violation for pre-trial release but I spent like two months in this jail here in Washington and when I was sentenced they sentenced me to five months in jail uh so that's uh what happened to me uh other than that I I communicated with some of the J Sixers on on that day and uh I think my arrest uh link uh to someone somebody post a video of me and that's how I was recognized by uh surveillance now what were your charges that you were originally sentenced for uh well they all Mr miners he was uh entering and remaining on uh us uh Capital uh demonstrating parading and disorderly conduct so I pleed guilty to uh uh well one of them and they withdrew the rest sorry sorry they uh so they uh dismissed the rest of uh the charges and I only was charged with one Mr minor which I did five months I unfortunately you know and I did what I did you cannot live with regrets but I'm never going to say that I went up there to cause any trouble or cause any uh destruction or anything because uh if you see the a uh there's no violence it was we were not violent well I was not violent from my perspective but uh others were I don't know you know I cannot control control people's emotions but you know I think most of the January 6 defendants uh they were uh misled they were misled by uh by a federal agency and by many people who infiltrated the riot who were agitators like rups uh jayen X there many of them and yeah they would like actually pay pay uh uh activists you know pay uh informance uh now when were you released was released November uh 2022 okay so I've been out for almost 3 years MH but I only I only need uh five months thank you again Insurrection is loser [ __ ] what a little [ __ ] what a cowardly [ __ ] the guy in the ponytail ha hi I'm Mickey wiof I'm Ashley babbit's mother we're in front of the DC jail where we've held a vigil for over 650 nights today was the second and the second Ashley bit Freedom March we walked from peace circle to the DC jail with some amazing Patriots it's our hope to bring attention to the uh overcharging and under representation and the uh enhanced sentences of the J Sixers and um you know was just unfair uh they still continued to arrest people for misdemeanor charges 3 and 1/2 years ago and we just want fair and Equitable Justice For What you for my God you guys so SL well we think of it more as a vigil than a protest and as you can see we often times have people that come and scream ugly things across the street so I think the best thing to do is uh to ignore them if it's possible and then maybe to just be louder than them if that's possible but you know it is First Amendment right as well as ours and you know that's what what people that we're remembering today fought and died for our constitutional rights our first amendment our Second Amendment which applies to idiots across the street too so I just would say that that's her exercising her first amendment and as uh Troublesome as it can be this is still America for a little while longer feel the power of God can't every time I go to pray for the January 6 men I can feel the power of God and I Lord just come against any evil that's out here tonight amen oh my goodness my god is so big my God is Not hindered by noise my God is Not drowned out he loves you and he loves me and I just thank God for him and I thank God for those precious men and my daughter in this good and the other precious daughters and men that are in these other prisons out throughout this country we need to be on our face before God before them and uh they've given so much but it's not not near as much as as my precious sister right here oh my goodness Mickey to death sister I love you to death you my heart is got to he her heart one day you know what she can I tell what you told me I told you yeah I want to tell you she said she doesn't really want the C to heal her heart right yet because she wants to use use it to help my children to help all these other children oh lady I'm not ever going to shut up I am never going to shut up young lady oh we are not they cannot they cannot Outlast these girls these girls are out here every night those witches can't stand it they can't be out here every night they can't handle it their voices give out their voices give out because they don't have truth in their heart and we got truth in our heart and we can last and we can last and we can last no matter what they do to us Grace gives you endurance Mickey Mickey gave my children a voice so they can call out she's given so many of these j6 men voices I remember the early days when they were being tortured in there and so many men were just being locked up for months and months and months and months and in tiny little holes and nobody remembered them very few that's right they were just being tortured without him without a voice and then Micki comes along Hallelujah let's thank God for thank God for Hallelujah Lord Jesus come before you we thank you for tonight I thank you for all these great Patriots Lord I Thank you that Satan Knows My Name Satan knows Ashley's Name Lord and and GRE and all the others that stood for truth Rosanne bin and and Phillips Lord they know his their names because they stood against evil they could stood against lies that overtake in America these ones that are out here Lord knows their name CU he doesn't want them here father most of all we're glad to we serve a living God and we say let our people go Hallelujah let our people go and one day Hallelujah let go father we know right now you got them locked up for a reason and that's to wake America up and Lord I just pray that you Christians out there that are slumbering and sleeping and allowing them to be destroyed father wake them up cuz we are 2024 is it if we don't get it right right now father I don't worry about my children I don't worry about anything but Lord I don't want to see this country go I want to see it stand for truth Lord youve given us so much father we're responsible for so much Lord we need you we need the power of the Holy Spirit to dwell richly in the American Christ Lord those of us that call Upon Your Name Lord Empower them show them what they need to do get them off the C Lord oh the answers here in your word and we just thank you that the truth will set us free we just love not in that I can't help them a bit in technical things but father I know you can send them somebody that can help them Lord and uh father there's somebody out there that knows the answers and knows how to how to work in in getting the voices out we love you and we praise you and we just PR you and believe we just plead your blood around tonight we just pray that you would Deliver Us from Evil
