hey what's up everybody Paul Esten Jr AKA boy green I'm the New York Jets digital reporter for heavy.com and oh boy things are about to get even more uncomfortable in the New York Jets Hassan reic Saga according to James Palmer uh NFL Insider for Underdog fantasy he was talking about this on a bleach report live stream he said that according to his sources uh Hassan reik is comfortable missing more games he's really dug in and said there's been no movement between the New York Jets and Hassan reck so again he's already missed one week that was a 49ers game just under $800,000 game check he lost and obviously that will continue throughout the season as NFL players are paid on a week- toe basis so my take burn the money sucker you're comfortable missing more games and you're comfortable uh lighting uh money on fire on a week- toe basis the Hanan reck is quote unquote dug in the New York Jets are dug in and again the Jets hold the the ultimate leverage here reic is the one that's going to cost himself more money than he's set to make he was scheduled to make before all the fines 14.25 million but he's already lost 5 million total not including this 800,000 he just lost he's lost 5 million from the mini camp the OTAs the training camp fines the preseason fines of 2.37 million now you add on this 800,000 it's approaching right around 6 million so far not including the Titans game that a that 6 million I'm talking about about is everything so far to this date right now he's lost $6 million now each passing week it's going to be another 800,000 another 800,000 another 800,000 again if that's what he wants to do God bless it seems like an odd strategy to light your money on fire because even if you go to these links he's comfortable missing more games okay he's going to keep missing and losing 800,000 a week and then the Jets control is Right So eventually he's going to show up so he's either going to show up and play like the minimum amount of game show up in like November and play five six seven games whatever the minimum requirement is and then no one is going to pay him next year so even if he ends up playing the minimum amount of games so he could get to freeny next year because if he plays zero this season he plays not at all the Jets control his rights we're in the same situation again in 2025 however if he plays the minimum amount he gets I don't know four or five sacks with the Jets then he becomes an unrestricted free agent who's going to pay him the bag that he's seeking let me give you an answer that spoiler alert no one so again Assan Rea continues to screw himself in all this and this is the latest just coming in from James Palmer that again he's quote comfortable missing more games well hope you're getting comfortable losing more money Hassan reic because the jet train is continuing to roll baby there you go James Palmer the latest update yikes more uncomfortability between Hanan reic and the New York Jets
