Kyle McCord goes off in first start for Syracuse.

this is a Lou G Sports take Kyle McCord absolutely showed off yesterday in the Syracuse football season opener against Ohio University throwing over 350 yards four touchdowns and only one interception what a game and what a performance I said this is going to be a crucial part of their season and a crucial part of this game and mcord absolutely showed up he worked well he did get off a little bit of a rough start I mean his first pass was almost intercepted but later on he would find his footing in the second quarter really worked well in Fran Brown and Jeff Mixon system getting the ball out to his receivers really spraying them out properly and really testing the Ohio secondary I talked about how this was a well experienced secondary that had 15 interceptions last season and it was definitely something that mord really needed to test out and he made a lot of smart decisions and was really able to get this offense going now on the other hand we do got to talk about how Ohio did a good job at dominating the time of possession they did a good job at running the ball the o line did a good job the D line they had a bit of penal they had a couple penalties they weren't really doing well at getting to the Run game and stopping the run a lot near that was mainly mostly in the first half and this is definitely something I hope that they can clean up as they face Georgia Tech next Saturday but overall what a great game from the orange a great game from Kyle McCord and a great way to kick off the Fran Brown era and guys one last thing I want to point out is that you know the rough start in the first half is what I expect you know this is a whole new system you know we got a new coach we got a new quarterback we got a new OC we got a new DC and it's really is just a matter of how these guys can mess together in such a in such a short amount of time and let's hope that they can clear up these issues as they face on Jord Tech who's coming off a win against Florida State University did a good job at the line of scrimmage with their o line and let's hope that they can if they can get a good first impression in their first ACC conference game this has been a Luigi Sports take if you like this video please like share share and subscribe feel free to comment your thoughts down below and I will see you next time
