Tonight, the search for a Missouri City woman whose family says they have not heard from her in more than a week tonight. Police telling Khou 11 news they found her car in Pearland but no sign of Karen Miles. Anele Rui spoke with investigators and joins us live with the very latest tonight. Ali. That's right. According to the Missouri Police department, they did find her vehicle, but again, no sign of her, they tell us that they are going to be searching through that vehicle and hopefully investigators can find more clues, but they are worried because her family says she has several medical conditions. It's been a little over a week since 61 year old Karen Miles was last seen because it's been too many, too many days that she's been missing. Karen's older sister tells us she's extremely worried because Karen is a diabetic and has high blood pressure. If my sister doesn't take her three shots per day, she can possibly go into a diabetic coma or she can pass out because she has, she is known to have passed out before the family says they don't know when Karen was last seen. But they haven't heard from her in over 10 days. Everybody's thinking that maybe she was driving her car and she had AAA medical incident with her diabetes and may have passed out and veered off the road somewhere. That's how my family and all of her friends want to think that this is what has happened to her. The Missouri City Police Department is investigating this case and hoping to have more information soon in the meantime, her family is optimistic, hoping they can bring her back home because they say this social butterfly who was a member of the Black Heritage Society with the Houston Rodeo is utterly missed. My sister has always been a social like type person. She is, she has thousands of friends and she belongs to so many organizations in the Houston area. Now, by the way, the Missouri Police Department tell us they are investigating. They're waiting to get the car back here uh to Missouri City to hopefully find more clues that can lead them to Karen.
