hey Don this is a courtship repeat of deep this football calm and the women report and I'm going to go over four schools in state schools FCS schools the recruiting prospects in Illinois and how what I've heard from talking about high school coaches and their feelings towards these coaching staffs I'm going to have si ul my state Western Illinois and Eastern all my guy called a few notes gonna read them off and split a couple few things but simples that take it out is again just do a brief overview these four schools are definitely bad they're actually four from are really good really standout coaching staffs arm but they're different in their own way [Music] different ways of recruiting and I think they're smart for the ways that they were approved and there's no there's no real objection there much and not really the many bad things about from high school coaches now first school SIU SIU the hair Nikhil nikhyl a couple of years ago really young coach for young coaching staff friend um so far he's trying to build the program there he's had great impressions with the high school coaches he's doing a great job marketing through self and marketing his program the job who do not morph I put me personally I like the fact that him and his staff they go after how'd you say they go after the under look player that deserves a little more respect in the rural areas and they do great job getting those kids and Morris and Hill has done a spectacular job getting the name the Salukis name out there like I said before great job Trevor Olson another great coach great offensive line coach he's pulling in a lot of it's why mob state of Illinois very good offensive lineman to remind you guys I just got the kid out of Jacobs which is a great pole form but great ah just a all-around great young staffer - sighs - look ease I expect big things for again for the next recruiting class they got the kid strong on belt off Catholic and I think again that this is a coaching staff and the team that time to rise the program is on a rice and another program to watch out for I know Nick Hill was part I think I think he was part of that great that's how you program when you play football it's another bonus you got on a former player that's coaching at this is alma mater which is a pretty much bonus all right next one we have almost state now almost different number sticker was net FCS championship a couple years back and this still doing a good job and they still are I consider people might disagree with me because there are fans of other schools I think Illinois State is the best FCS school in the state of Illinois very good basically an FCS powerhouse they're still recruiting good they're doing a great job recruiting also out of state - for all my state but specs did a good job I've met some of the ELMO State coaches have had nothing but this had nothing but to say great things about these coaches great guys they do a great job and again a little bit older on the other side next SIU but they have a couple few young coaches to watch out for but also peel appeal to a lot of younger players and that's a good thing for Illinois State I do see all mice taking another good crop of my players for next season and nothing nothing is a great motivator for a young recruit than your winning program some just symbols that expect the head coach the only state of another great head coach to repel tourists after he was going to go somewhere else grab but he's staying with someone state that says a lot l like a lot of the high school closures that talked to them great amount of respect for him just overall a great guy that I've heard enough I saw nothing but good things about so almost eight uh basically they sort haze it's it's going to keep recruiting good and it's uh it's a stove a powerhouse so I can't say anything bad about that all right next one going for my notes all right next one's new one Western Illinois but just I feel she was hired last year from that mistake in Charlotte Fisher head coach I believe he's a Texas boy if I'm not mistaken a chance to me make laser clinics great guy I think he did the smart thing gay doing what I said you did getting a younger staff to appeal to the kids I think that uh they've had some bad years yes that's true but it's still an appealing program of appealing group of coaches a great University my thing is can they get going to get down basically the recruit self of self Obama basically self from Chicago that's that little area because that'd be a great place for them to recruit they could pull some major recruits to how that area but again it's two pi too much on a planner but they're doing a great job they're doing ty how I'm coach that a lot of high school courses have talked about good and forgetting the other guy I'm sorry I met Gerald twice for Good King his last name Stockton Stockton another great guy does a great job of the kids great another young recruit to look out for defensive line which so what certainly the looking good the progression to going for demotions of recruiting haven't heard anything bad about from the high school courses about Western Illinois and all some of them have said a lot I wish they were to accrue more but it is what it is Western Illinois is what's wrong is basically Western how am i I hate to say it but again it's going from motions and expect big things from them and they pulled some good they pulled some good recruits they got some nice walk ons I really do like the walkouts at the head up from now Lyla I think it's going to be it's going to be a learning year but I think that it's a ping to just to look out for alright my last one and this is sad Eastern Illinois you have you certainly are still good school still good school um what scares me about this school and about this program is that this program is going to get is going to get the short end of everything and that's just my feelings that's just me this program is one of the biggest legacy programs in the state of Illinois you have coped spoo you have to of course before that it's just a really good program a strong traditional football program and it just scares me that just some of the things that I'm hearing about just them getting shortened to stick and funding and all other stuff I really really hope that it's not true and I think Eastern Illinois is one of the best programs in the state of Illinois I know they have had a couple slow years I have no lot of high school coaches are a little bit not happy because they don't really publicize themselves that much instead online but again that's always been sort of traditional Eastern Alma they've always been silent I called the IB person I called the Panther mafia basically because they're that silent but there are great school great tradition the legacy of spoo do you have Dino Babers I hope Kim Dameron can get everything set and for Eastern Illinois it's a great program Eastern Illinois has always been a program that recruits high character kids and kids that are motivated for being overlooked does that's always been Eastern Illinois strong points are recruiting and that's why I have so much respect for Eastern Illinois I'm just hoping that I'm just hoping that this program basically rebounds and I hope they just do good I hope all these programs do good all of them do because that means that the Alamo recruits are doing good and it's good for the state of Illinois so same be you so much I wish you guys the best of luck and I hope everything works out and I hope you guys just started out winning games so but that's basically it discussed Eastern Western I almost ate SIU but again a lot of SIU was going to really he's got a young coach three programs to get all coaches but three of the programs have young quarter staffs and one has middle aged cultures they're the smart thing to always do now is they have a young recruiting coach it is now because the kids respond more to younger recruiting and it but again it is what it is we live in a new era of football so let's look to you for schools in if you have any questions met please
