RCMP officers comb through the scene of a crime that has rattled this small community this home is where the police say they found the bodies of three people Wednesday night during a well-being check I do understand the concern by the community but this is not a random incident RCMP called the deaths murders but beyond that they are not sharing the names ages or what the relationship was between the three people CBC News spoke with people familiar with the home who say a father and his two adult sons lived there police say as of Thursday the evening the suspects have not been caught but residents do not need to worry for their safety at this time it doesn't appear to be a random act so we're not the general public is if they're not involved in this type of activity or any types of criminal activity and I'm again I'm not saying these were criminals at all I don't I I don't know the investigation but generally it's when it's targeted there's there's a reason in a city of roughly 12,000 people the mayor is trying to calm nerves we live in a a world that things do happen but in the same token as I just related this is not everyday occurrences in lloydminister Alberta Saskatchewan neighbors are shaken I was very distraught and upset about what happened to that family Lloydminster borders Alberta and Saskatchewan mounties from both provinces are involved in the investigation autopsies are expected in the coming days Julia Wong CBC News Lloydminster Saskatchewan
