Muah! Welcome to the Palisade Peach
Festival. The largest festival that happens in Palisade Colorado
every single year. This is home of Palisade peaches,
which are sold all over the place. A lot of times if you go through Colorado anytime in the summer months, you're going to find these, also
many other places throughout the U.S. You'll see these famous Palisade peaches. This is their big festival of the year. We're privileged to be here
during this time And check some of the scenery out here. It's put on by their Chamber of Commerce,
which we love. So it's a good business festival
for them as well. And lots of peaches! So when you come here,
you might see things like the biggest peach contest, or peach eating contest, Cool picture
opportunities with some local donkeys. What we enjoy is the food and beverage. And so we are on a hunt for some good food
and beverage, especially the peach kind! So in our hunt for peach cuisine, we found some tasty, tasty nosh
and some good beverages. First,
we had to start out with a cocktail. I had a peach smash. Which had vodka, a little local Colorado ginger beer,
and of course, fresh peaches. That was absolutely delightful. And really refreshing on a hot day
like this. here in Palisade. Next, I got some pork tacos, carnitas, that had a peach habanero salsa on those. Last but not least,
we had to get some Palisade Peach ice cream in order to cool down
some of that habanero spice. Some really good tasty finds here. So we hope you enjoyed today
