Gary Ridgeway, also known as the Green River killer has been transferred from the Washington State penitentiary in Walla Walla to the King County Jail. Ridgeway is currently serving 49 life sentences for murders he committed starting in 1982. Right now, we are working to get answers from the state on why he was moved. According to the King County prosecuting attorney's office, he was booked yesterday morning on an institutional hold. His case is still being handled by the Department of Corrections.
