Kim Loeffler spoke to the president of the school that trained the mechanic, 37 year old Luis Aldarondo was from Puerto Rico and trained at a facility in Florida before moving to Atlanta to work as a contractor for Delta. >> The president of South Avionics outside of Orlando, where Luis Aldarondo trained, says he was motivated to succeed. He graduated in 2019 after studying there for a year. >> He's from Puerto Rico. He came. He was looking for something to grow up, right? To get better. Something a better career. And he didn't know anything about aviation. So he decided to, you know, to take a chance in aviation. Marwick's family went to see his body on Friday, but were not allowed because his injuries were too severe. >> In the aviation community, everyone is sad. That's not something that that doesn't normally happen and we are like a small school. And to have our student having that, and it was so sad.
