Post Practice: Marcus Major Tulsa Week 9/12

assistance paying off oh yeah man there's just a lot of you know just focusing you know taking it day by day and you know just just know that you know I'm in my fifth year you know they expect you know bigger things for me you know you know just being a leader things like that so um just taking a day by day um yeah um I always had catching in me you know but you know I always try to work on that every day you know see I'm trying to get on the jugs so um I mean I'm just happy you know I could be used both ways you know running into them they kind of become a thing in the running back room to be the first person out there when another running back scores I know it's probably I think was like the first person out there he's out there before the place oh yeah no it was it was all good you know until we you know he earned those reps know that he got you know he made everything from this opportunity that he had so you know it was it was just good thing seeing him do what he do you know but it was all good but even like when you scored I think he was the first person out there today is that become like a thing in the running back room oh yeah yeah which is always so each other love you know and it's all love in that room you know we all competitors you know we made each other better every day you know even through fall Camp so you know just supporting each other you know when we're on that field you know just having each other's back plus Levy talks about winning one-on-ones he wants to bring backs to do that how do you how do you improve upon that as a running back um it's just really you you play it here during practice you know so you can get it in real game aspects you know so when we're going to get Scouts you know everything should be full speed you know so so everything you're doing out here should be easy when you go out there but when when the one-on-ones you know for us you know it's real important you know to make a good place and that's it been here longer than a lot of other guys in this locker room we've seen a lot of OU football I want to ask you about the defense and how they've performed through two weeks is it feel like there's a difference this year and there has been in previous years no doubt um obviously you know this is second year in the system you know with uh you know DB's play calls so um you know everybody's out there just having fun having loose you know and playing you know doing what actually you know defense is supposed to do and man they you know they own it you know they had our backs you know last weekend you know we was going through some UPS down with oh but they they kept us in the game you know and it was all good Marcus seeing how Dylan um is able to spread the ball around to so many different Target so many different options can you kind of describe the command that he has of this offense this year yeah I don't know these balls coming out with confidence wherever it's going oh you know DG you know he has a big command over the offense you know he's he's doing a good job you know leading us you know in every aspect but you know it's play makers everywhere even you know through the outside you know in in the backfield as well as you can you know see it you know but I mean he's doing a good job with that you know he's you know keeping us on edge you know where we're supposed to be you know and things like that so he's doing a good job with that obviously in-state guys we've been kind of cool this weekend to get up to Tulsa and play up there oh you know that um actually always wanted to play that to us I never got to I'm sorry I never got to in high school but um it should be a good experience for me how confident are you feeling in your game right now I'm very confident you know but you know I can't never get satisfied with where I'm at you know I just gotta keep getting better each day you know like I said just taking the day by day between all you guys in the running back room you know with how many guys there are in that group capable of contributing you feel like there's more balance there overall with the way you guys skill sets complement each other then maybe there has been in the past oh yeah no doubt um like I said it's a lot of talent in the group you know that we have right now so it's it's all good for everybody you know get you know some touches you know every now and then but um it's you know it's great competition you know in the group but it's it's just good for you know how to feel just to get in the end zone last Saturday oh no I felt good man I feel comfortable you know I'm just trying to keep it going I feel a little extra good after having the one earlier it gets wiped away on the penalty oh yeah man no it was I was frustrated about that one but no it was all it's all good man just going to the next play and keep keep playing ball we can say about your guys blocking for you on that one the two receivers down I think it was all right y'all made two amazing the blockers you know in coach Coach Jones you know made it a big emphasis you know about perimeter blocking you know with the receiver so you know he done a great job with that and of course Andrea you know Draco you know they do amazing job that's how I got the end zone so man big big congrats to those guys you know please shut up when you talk about the receivers how the tight ends contributed in the Run blocking game oh the Titans Go should be good you know it's you know it's still developing you know not just in the tidings but you know online you know we got to do better but it's it's on us to run back to you know to see what we you know to hit to hit the right hole and you know make them one-on-one so win them one-to-one bet on himself coming to school here still will walk on right now but really producing like he is oh yeah man ever since until we got here he just been progressing up and up and up you know he's been becoming better each day you know and like I said you know we just make each other better each day you know and support each other and have each other's you know back you know let us know when when we off and on and what we need to do you know to accomplish you know what the market needs us to do
