The Crab Shack Tybee Island, Georgia Voted Savannah, Georgia’s BEST seafood We Fed the Alligators!

what's going on guys we are here today in Tidy Island Georgia just outside of Savannah and we have decided to stop at the Crab Shack where the elite eat in their bare feet Tybee Island Georgia we're here for some seafood on the water we're on our way home we decided to pull off we've been reading about this place the whole trip we're excited to stop and try feed some alligators eat some crab see how things are join us for our crabby Adventure here is a look at the menu here at the Crab Shack so they have some shacketizers so it's just if you're really gonna have to like seafood so best seafood since 1998. by the best of Savannah because they have a lot of oysters clams you can get this Alaskan king crab entree 120 served with sausage potatoes and slaw I ended up getting the captain sampler platter some snow crab mussels crawfish shrimp corn potatoes and sausage and Natasha got a what did you get you got the deviled crab and the clam chowder she's gonna try that but they have some boils so you can get up to six these tables are set up for that to some of the options here that they have for entree Seafood is not your thing they do have some barbecue pork and brisket sandwiches ribs chicken some peel and eat shrimp and the options for the kids we heard a little bit about their desserts too some of the key lime pie but they have coconut cream pie chocolate peanut butter pie you name it and then also you can add a four dollar bag feed the Gators out front which we're gonna take you to we're definitely gonna do that and here is the sampler platter so I've got some crab I've got sauces some sausage we've got crawfish shrimp mussels potatoes corn melted butter on top I'm excited for that yeah I'm excited to try some too all right so thought we would give you a little bit of an update of how we're doing with um our food so let me show you so I'm really glad that we got this platter uh the captain's platter I think you said yeah we ended up the service one too yeah it serves one but you can easily share it with two so I'm really glad as you can see we are outside so the only drawback is there are flies around but um otherwise it's amazing it's really nice but we ended up splitting this and I'm glad I only got one crab cake and the soup which were both delicious um but this is the remaining it's delicious it's very good what do you think these are some of the best muscles I've ever had yeah well I can't say yeah because I'm not a fan for me oh I ate the crab legs they were absolutely amazing the shrimp was good the sausage the potatoes they were delicious yeah those mussels are incredible yeah even seasoned like so they've seasoned the sausage which is on the potatoes as well yeah a little of it gets on the mussels which actually gives a little kick which is nice yeah I know the seasoning was really good on the potatoes it's the same one but I know you love those mussels the Crawfish are amazing shrimp everything's been incredible I know it's been delicious so great great choice hands are just covered yeah but it's nice because they gave us the station and right next to us there's a watering station or a watering station a hand wash station yeah here's a little peek at the outdoor patio here sorry it is extremely windy somehow they managed to keep everything on the tables which is awesome we gotta have a couple outdoor bars a lot of outdoor seating and then over here they have some indoor seating as well so again sorry for the the wind noise if there is any but yeah it's really really really nice out here probably looks awesome at night they've got all the lights up on the trees it's awesome how these trees are built right into the the deck here but and then the water is just right over there they also have these three sauces here they have their Tybee Island barbecue sauce it's a little mustardy so not my cup of tea because I'm just not a mustard fan I like it but yeah it was really good and then they have their own homemade cocktail sauce and then also the Bohemian jerk sauce so I tried all of them they're all really good in their own right can definitely try those if you come here so we decided not to do dessert today but I heard the dessert is very very good we just ate too much and we might try something else in town but I was reading that their key lime pie is made fresh so um I would love to try that chocolate peanut butter pie that sounds good sometimes so yeah definitely we enjoyed it we really had a nice nice time here so this is what the bill looked like after the sampler the kids pizza for Whitley um Natasha's crab a cup of chowder and we just drink water always comes to 65 so honestly for the amount of food that we got a lot of seafood that we got I feel sixty five dollars was a very very fair value we're all walking away full which is the most important part all right just a quick overview maybe a little area over there with a indoor arcade couple of fun little games we're not going to do that today for Smoky Mountain arcades but they've I really love the decoration they've got these bushel basket lights the lights on the trees it's really really peaceful it's nice it's a great atmosphere lots of people here and again this is the indoor seating if you so choose and here is the next amazing thing they have an Alligator Pit check out all these little alligators and we are swimming around here and then out far over there like I said we added on to our meal we are going to go try to feed them they're everywhere they're just staring at us looking for food what do you think Whitley do you like them what are they what's that alligators yeah he's looking at you they look cozy in here though so the lady that was running this place right here she's really really knowledgeable about the alligators they the ones that you see right here on the side she said those are sleepy they were resting they're full you don't want to feed them but the ones in the water their heads are out if you see their heads out they're hunting and they're hungry so those are the ones you want to feed and she said all the speckled dots that you see on their head they're actually help with their hunting skills and their vibrations so that they can sense um food so it's really kind of interesting so we're about to feed them I think right let's go grab a pole all right here they go water tap the water tap tap tap the water that's how you do it that one's gonna get it there it is you see a tap the water so they don't jump really oh my goodness yeah we don't want that yeah that would be bad news all right they've got their food in let's see them catch one tap it he's got it they fed that one yeah they are it's amazing watching these things come in and snag the food it's got uh grown to them that was a freebie forum oh here she goes pull is up tap tap tap look at those little ones oh they are like look at that one looking at them oh wow look at that guy look at that oh let just hold on to your Pole just there you go wow she about really caught she probably got sucked into the Gators the lady running this is really nice very knowledgeable about the Gators and making sure that they're well taken care of so that is good to see making sure that no one teases them that you're feeding them properly so they don't learn how to jump which is nice it's funny when you come to the edge here even if you don't have a pool they just think they're ready for food these guys are hungry so there are 39 Gators in here when they get too bid they go to to big they go to a different facility she says it'll get really Territorial and then just start eating the other ones all right here they go with their last piece of food oh he snagged it right away did he get it good job and just a little peek at the outside of the the gator feeding facility here they have these fun Tikis it is awesome this was a little fun experience here after your meal so we have a lot of parking on site here because they have a lot of tables so they've got to have the parking so a host to stand is right around the corner here I love that they're flying the Irish flag I wonder why I don't know that's fun but they have a lot of fun decor here as well you can get your Gator feed there snow cones little of everything and then here is the hostess stand so they've got the gator deck bird Shack a nap bar party Shack gift Shack and the restrooms but the theming here is so cool yeah yeah they have amazing job it's a lot to see yeah there really is it's more than again it's just more than uh someone's getting a ride I know a little map looks like they drew there oh yeah there it is the gator Lagoon it's cute the gator deck the main entrance yeah there's the fish pond oh there's some fish in there a little crab that's right there The Crab Shack a hoist you want to put your boat here we're gonna walk out there in the gift Shack where the elite eating their bare feet and that would have been this one today yeah we took off for Spider-Man shoes but there's a little fish pond though a little goldfish koi in there we've made it over to the gift Shack here they've got this Big Tuna hanging they have a ton of fun merch here a Crab Shack later alligator Crab Shack or the elite eating their bare feet as they're saying these are fun [Music] yeah that is a lot of fun I like this one I know Captain yeah I got crabs last night at the Crab Shack and then you can be part of the crew so they also have a bird rescue in here this is Gilbert Gilbert there's doobie he's sitting in this area over there oh they have a lot of icebergs it's nice that they have this so these are all rescues Diego Gretel and Captain sitting in there together and then they have these beautiful blue and yellow macaws in here so they take donations in here to help feed their Birds but again all rescues they've they are helping this is CeCe now this is what we should do we should get her these shells and guaranteed to find them that's we're gonna head out right now and try and go find some shells on the beach so we just left it left the gift shop and they told us that this is something that we had to try so it's a Leopold's Ice Cream made in Savannah oh man I know and it's homemade oatmeal cookie in their vanilla and not to leave that but look a cat so they have actually these are all like house broken they're all have their shots they're all up to date they're rescue cats and they just walk around the restaurant yeah and again they're all clean all good yeah which is nice which is nice to know yeah but sorry back to the sandwich back to the sandwich look how huge it is I saw that people split them yeah that looks great we're gonna get into this here a little bit before we get on our way and that's gonna do it today here from The Crab Shack on Tibby Tybee I think it's tibia Tibby Island Georgia just outside of Savannah right here on the ocean what'd you think your food oh I loved it I didn't really get to show you too much of the you didn't try my my clam chowder I did not try the clam chowder no very good yeah and my um my crab cake is delicious yeah it was very good awesome yeah mine was delicious that platter all the different types of seafood loved it the mussels were my favorite I love the crab legs yeah those are really good but all of it was really really good Whitley had some pizza which was okay but you don't come there for pizza you come here for the seafood right yeah and to feed some Gators so that was a lot of fun check out the birds and they have these really cute cats all over the parking lot so we'll try not to go home with them because she really yeah she wants one she wants one yeah all right guys thank you so much for joining us and
