Some very sad news out of the Clemson community tonight. As former Clemson University alumni, DeAndre Overton was killed in a shooting over the weekend in Greensboro, North Carolina. The shooting happened at about 230 in the morning at a house party. The Guilford County Sheriff's office says they went to the house for reports of a noise complaint. And when they got there, they heard that there was a shooting at the home. 26 year old Overton was found shot at the scene. He did get medical attention, but unfortunately died of his injuries. The Guilford County Sheriff's office believes it's an isolated incident but they say the suspect is still on the loose. A $5000 reward is now being offered for information that leads to an arrest. Overton was recruited by Clemson in 2016 and was a two time national champion and four time AC C champion.
