A Quiet Place Day One. 2024 Movie Review. Lupita Nyong'O Joseph Quinn Alex Wolff.

hey everyone welcome back to yet another movie review this is my final movie review for the day and it is a quiet place day one you can find it on pman out Plus for free if you want to watch it on there for some reason on Paramount plus today it wasn't streaming all that well so I ended up paying $5.99 to watch it without any interruptions or anything which I'm glad I did that but the movie was released on junee 28th 2024 it is a apocalyptic horror movie that has an average grade of a B+ on Cinema score a 6.3 out of 10 on imtb and 86% on Rotten Tomatoes on a $67 million budget it made 261.5 million at the box office the movie was directed by Michael sninski and Stars Lupita nango Joseph Quinn and Alex Wolf and if you've seen the previous movies then you know this is a prequel this is day one when the fir the creatures first show up on day one and this takes place in New York City and from there it just this just goes crazy we have the character of Samira play played by Lupita nango and she is just wanting to have a pizza and just go about her day so she is um on a trip with some fellow patients she has cancer and so she was promised a pizza if they went into New York City and watched the show it was a puppet show and that's when the creatur start first surviving and then all hell breaks loose she ends up running to uh a couple of people a man and a child they end up going with this big group which eventually they get attacked and yeah they start to learn that these creatures uh come at you based on the sounds you make and so I'm sitting here in the dark and I'm trying to be quiet and and just focus in on this movie and it's so terrifying because I try to put myself in their place and yeah it's just it's crazy to think that uh yeah I'm trying to concentrate with this review and um my my dog Lincoln is moving his bed around you you getting it there Lincoln you okay he's just staring at me right now are you right did you get it did you get it Mr Brown Eyes yeah you got it yeah twirl around there you go he's got to twirl around his bed a few times yeah shake it off there you go you comfortable no he's not comfortable yet here we go yeah yeah you get there I don't know what he's doing there you go now he's settled but getting back to the movie she she meets a couple of characters and they get attacked and so like I said they find out that you have to be quiet so these monsters won't attack and then she meets one single guy and they end up having a little connection there and what this young lady does for this guy is so just so amazing and there are some nice jump scares in this there's one in particular that really got me really scared the out of me um it's when they're in samir's apartment and that's all I'm going to say but damn it did it get me but I am a huge fan of this franchise I love this movie and this one was only an hour and a half 90 minutes that's what I'm talking about getting back to the 90minut movies this was perfect and uh I love the characters I love the story the direction the writing the creatures look phenomenal and I cannot wait to see where they go with this franchise I absolutely love it John krinski who co-wrote this script didn't direct and of course is not in it but does an amazing job and uh I can't say enough about this movie absolutely loved it like I said you you can find it on Paramount Plus for free but if you're like me I went ahead and rented it because Paramount was I know just being generic today for some reason but like I said 10 out of 10 two thumbs up in the comment section below if you've seen it give me your thoughts and opinions if you're new to the channel don't forget to hit the Subscribe button hit the notification Bell and if you like this review hit the like button but thanks for watching I'll see you guys in the next one
