uh I'll ask Leon this question I mean obviously it's a results driven business you didn't get the result you were looking for but what about just Embrace can you embrace the opportunity that's ahead of you guys right now is that too you know esoteric or is that is that the proper way to look at it today is a new day away you go yeah absolutely I mean um I think we all know you know dwelling on things in the playoffs is not not the way to go so um we get a great chance to tie up the series tomorrow at home um and that's the way we're we're looking at it second row on the right Ryan Evander a couple games in a row you've had really solid first periods but this push that they send your way in the second you've kind of struggled a little bit with what would you like to see more from your group when you know they're going to start pushing and how you can maybe push back and and take some of it back yeah I mean every team's going to push uh at certain points in the game obviously um you want to make those as short as possible um when you're on the other side of it I think last night uh it was a little too long and obviously they got a lot of momentum and and uh poured it on uh quite thick in the second period but um at the same time we had a big goal at the end of that period and it was a 20-minute hockey game going in the third so um they've seemed to find uh the timer goal the last two games um and it's something that uh we're going to have to find back front left Mark as one of the guys on this team who's always been counted on for timely goals uh how has the inability to practice for you the last however long it's been a couple months for sure affected your game or has it um I mean there's there's no really no no excuse uh obviously not practicing um for anybody I think uh isn't the best thing but uh at the same time uh we're on the ice it's it's the Western Conference finals and you got to find a way to uh step up and and perform Center left Daniel uh Le on the power play um has obviously gone through little dips at at points in the year um it's going through one now but I guess I would ask how much more pressure do you feel when there aren't too many calls uh and and opportunities in the series uh yeah obviously there we're not getting the opportunities that we'd like but um you know that's the way it is our power play needs to do a better job of creating momentum for a group and I think uh we haven't done a very good job of that uh the last three games in this Series so um you know obviously look at some things uh tweak a couple things and and um you know Step Up When when we need it second row left Derek hey Leon um just want to ask you about the difference between the way LA and Vancouver defended as to Dallas Dallas seems to be less physical but more with their sticks more with their skating ability how's that been a little different for you guys yeah it's a different team uh they defend a little bit different uh play a different style um nothing that we can't H handle as a group um I don't think offensively we've gotten to our game yet and that's partly because they're doing a good job and partly um you know us us not finding it maybe a little bit and um you know obviously yeah tomorrow is a good chance for us to to to grab that a little bit and and get going second row on the right Andrew l a lot of talk yesterday from the Stars about how they were able to kind of flush that first period last round you guys were able to turn around after uh Canuck's comeback in game one how do you do that again uh tomorrow it's a new game um you know we lost we lost the game on home ICE um you know like I said earlier uh it's a great chance for us to tie the series at home um tomorrow night in front of our fans in in our building and um yeah it's very simple just got to win one game take a couple more third row on the left hi Leon um closing out games in the third period was kind of this team's bread and butter in the regular season in the playoffs you're 0 and four in games that are tied after 40 minutes can you kind of pinpoint what the difference is uh right now compared to the regular season i h i don't I I don't think I can um um just haven't haven't done a good enough job of uh um you know being stubborn with it and and um closing out games and um obviously that's a big part of of of our our team um and we've lost that a little bit lately but um nothing that I'm too too concerned with third row on the right Tony there you go morning Evander uh you talk about the timeliness of some of the Stars goals and you know sometimes it has something to do with Puck luck two-part question for you you feel like you're doing enough as a group to generate enough luck on your side and if not what are some of the Finer Things in the game that you guys can maybe smoothing out to make sure that luck does kind of come your way more often um to answer your first part of your question uh probably not I think we can definitely get more pucks towards their net um you know if you look at the goals we've scored uh even going back to last night um they're all kind of dirty greasy goals slings from Bad angles um that that ended up going in and um their goals are much the same uh at the same time they do a really good job of blocking shots getting in Lanes um making it difficult to get shots through and pucks at their net um but I think as a group we can have a little bit more of a simpler Focus um in getting to the net um and at the same time not giving them you know those those grade A opportunities that that we have uh specifically last night all good we'll we'll do one more Rish there's some series that are I mean intense and emotional and there scrums after every whistle and it you know you can tell that there's a kind of that real anger there moment to moment this isn't really one of those series does that matter for your group do you function well in one versus the other or is there is there anything you can do along those lines I know you're not want to take penalties but yeah I I think um I think Dallas is coming with a mindset that you know knowing Pete a little bit on the other side uh they don't want to take any penalties um and and I think they've in a way almost tried to lull things to sleep a little bit um and you know there were a couple of scrums uh last night with marchment and whatnot but you know it's been uh there's definitely been a lot less of that than than the first two Series in LA and Vancouver I think um you know that's more of a tactic on their end I think we can be more physical as a group um um in all areas all over the ice and I think that will help us
