Simon Jordan Explains Why He Is CONVINCED Arsenal Are READY To Win The Premier League This Season 🤩

Arsenal against Brighton 12:30 tomorrow it's a talk sport exclusive top spot in the Premier League is up for grabs at the Emirates tomorrow lunchtime Mr Martin K will be there Arsenal Invincible Arsenal against Brighton put their 100% records on the line you're looking forward to it mam yeah um great signing Marino um CA fury it's like the Land of the Giants again back at Arsenal um it's almost like a return Isn't it to to to the early days of arson benger when you looked in that tunnel when you saw the vieiras petites and huge players the opposition used to melt away and say look they're even bigger in real life than they were on the TV um maybe it's that sort of feeling I think they've done really well away from home got to keep that Journey going now has to be Perfection to keep Man City off uh from taking a fifth record keep making records don't they every season Man City but ARS have to push as much as they can so I like the DNA of these new signings tough physical strong players yeah uh it's exactly what you need I I mean there's a record that you'll have a close eye on each of Arsenal's last eight Premier League games have ended in a win should they win against Brighton tomorrow they'll end a 20year wait for nine straight Premier League wins since you boys the invincibles 20034 did you know that I had an idea of these statistics yes because I'm covering the game tomorrow but one I'm looking at really is the 20 games so they've had 18 W victories yeah the only def the only defeat was against Villa and and of course the draw was against Man City both teams making it to the championship leag so but it is nothing short of perfection will be enough uh they need to have par with Man City when they play them in a couple of away games time they've got spurs in between all Focus will be on this game against Brighton that they're in really top form top of the table right now pretty well Brighton so it's another tough game Jim I mean Mar Simon the the the new man in charge at Brighton Fabian herel talks about Arsenal and glowing terms we'll hear from him in a moment but when when you look at the two clubs Simon model clubs um the perfect Pro for different reasons re for different reasons I mean you I mean Arsenal um was always described as the bank of England Club was they in terms of the stature and caliber of the football club David Dean held it in such a way um it operates with the the history of hyri the Marvel Halls Herbert Chapman and go on and so for so forth and obviously then you've got this remarkable team of 2003 that is an invincible side you've got this revolution that was started under arson wengo about the way professional footballers are managed handled coached and what the expectation of what play looks like and you've now got a football club that's in very good nick I mean they've overcome Aston Villa last week that was a side that last year had the uh the the evil eye on them it wasn't the most entertaining of games but Arsenal found a way to win it and that's the mark of people that are beginning to really start their engines I think they'll have too much of Brighton I think Brighton are a very good side and it's not because I'm writing them down just for the pure simple scale scale of the two clubs because Brighton is a wonderful example of how one man's vision and determination to rebuild a football club back from nothing and turn it into a really grownup sophisticated football club that uses data has traded well has built a reputation of being something very significant in its diligence then you've got Arsenal which is a high-end football club which is the one of the rolls-royces of English football that's now awake again you've got an ownership model that post the European super league and post probably the offer from Stephan EK to buy it has suddenly come alive with this ownership Josh koni going in there probably running on a day-to-day basis has helped it spends money got an ownership that's engaged again and you've got a manager that seems to be producing I think Arsenal will win the League this year not because I want them to over man city because of whatever man city are what they aren't I just think that this is the third time of calling their progress has been such a level that it's it's almost it's not a necessity but it's it's about the right time now they're ready to win it I think yeah the when we were in Germany Martin uh the man over there Mr Jordan and myself spoke live to Fabian Herzel when they appointed him age 31 and I must admit even this early when he speaks I listen and he's been talking about Arsenal they're so good in the details they have an answer for everything they they take care of their set pieces of their throwin of their kickoffs they have like clear patterns in possessions they they um have clear patterns out of possession so they will have an answer and a solution on the pitch for everything and that's something what comes through hard work what comes when you when you focus on the process so I think um ATA and his team they are role model for of everyone and of course um I also I also follow their way what they did in the last um years because it's something special and um of course I can also learn a lot from this so he says he's going he's going to learn a lot but Brighton don't learn when it comes to coming to London they fail to win any of their seven games away to London clubs in the Top Flight season last time around so somehow Martin they've got to get it together when they come to this city they're going to a difficult place tomorrow they are but they went to a difficult place you know called goodison Park where the atmosphere is really tricky and they they kind of switch goodison off actually the way they handled their themselves the way that the goalkeeper gets the ball I mean tomorrow he'll have a lot of the ball steel and he sort of like he the barometer he slows it all down they play the ball amongst the central Defenders um they they build in in in in a similar fashion to the previous manager um I think this I think this is almost like son of klopp isn't it this manager K herzler uh he's a great communicator um he's highly intelligent he would have been looking at all the the systems that arsal play but I don't know I think they play a very high line and I think that's a risky thing to do against Arsenal um Manchester United weren't able to exploit it didn't play enough balls over the top uh I think it's something that Arsenal will do okay they're probably going to be sitting on the edge of their own boxer a lot of the time um they'll try and play out but Arsenal press probably in a in a slightly more aggressive way more organized way than Manchester United did we last week and I still expect an Arsenal win but this is not an easy game now and they have got Jim an outstanding manager who's going to go places yeah um as you talked though many Arsenal fans who listen to you intently are saying look we won't win it unless he sign someone capable of 20 plus goals and they haven't done that well that's the that that's the one thing isn't it that's hanging but but they scored plenty of goals last year and it's it's whether or not they can keep doing that from all manner of positions um you know habit came in and and and is a different type of Striker you you might want that extra tool in the Box yeah that player that can just bring on who's rapid the sort of fox in the Box type player mctier if he's allowed to leave maybe they want to adjust that gym the Sterling one's an interesting one maybe that's sort of a something the manager wants to to bring in again on that left hand side maybe um Martinelli he wants to give him more competition but you've got trossard there as well who can play down the middle so that's probably the one area but everywhere else they look really well equipped particular now this strengthening of Midfield and at the back um Arsenal look ready to go to but they're hungry there's a desire there yeah that we haven't seen in in a lot of years samon I've never put this to you but I'm going to now you know a decent businessman when you see one you were a top businessman yourself you made a lot of money when it comes to creating wealth I think you've got to be extra specially talented to do that from a standing start you did that my friend your your your pal David tabazil is another yeah um it's is Tony bloom in that character in that category the bright and owner oh absolutely absolutely as is Matthew Benham um cut from the same Club this is the brenford owner um different Industries um and industries that lend themselves to opportunity but beyond No Illusion Tony Bloom is a top draw businessman as is Jim Ratliff as is some of these people out there as was Mike Lynch who we recently lost you know to a series of controversial tragedies these are very serious operators that can consistently it's one thing making money it's another thing making money everybody loses money you only hear about how success is you only hear about the iceberg story which is the top of the iceberg most of the the bad stuff is beneath the surface and no one ever hears about that you know like a dark puddling isn't it all the stuff is done under the water but yeah Tony boom's top businessman top top businessman and and they do do it I mean obviously there's some background in his life where his father was in the same industry but not withstanding it it's like Eddie Hearn you know we I'll have a back and forward of Eddie Hearn but I won't disrespect his auman commercially but it is easier when you've got a platform to leap off which Eddie has had and other people have had but these are serious guys that focus and disciplined and build wealth and continue to build wealth and then to redeploy so you look at the disciplines this this idea and and and I was speaking to one of the potential guys that was going to buy everon at one point about portable knowledge we all think we've got it we all think we can take portable knowledge sunis makes the observation about everybody that owns a football club is an imbecile because they don't listen to the right people right and he has his point to some extent because we all think we've got portable knowledge you can take the skill set you've got from one industry and overlay it another and in football it's a different language you got to learn it and if you don't know it there's people that do and they're going to take your pants down very quickly and you've got to learn it so so the portable knowledge is decent standards decent motivations understanding and then learning the language of your industry what Tony Bloom has done is he's taken a portable knowledge data underpins the acurate mentality of spread betting if you will make your money from spread betting or from poker or other things like that there's an underlying algorithm and thought process that goes into how you build out the odds and the Dynamics of your industry he's overlaid that into data and data is what's created the opportunity it shouldn't be the only thing because your eyes shouldn't betray you in the end but the data that they've used to build up the way they buy players right and subsequently the opportunities that they've had a result of selling them yeah cannot be underestimated because Bloom has redeployed it and it comes from a discipline of another industry Tony Bloom well the numbers he would love would be a01 um at the Emirates tomorrow we shall see Tony if it goes in that direction Eddie Jim White and Simon Jordan Monday to Friday mornings from 10 on a.m. on da via the talk sport app and on your smart speaker talk sport
