Danny Welbeck reacts to scoring his 100th club career goal against Man United ⚽️

Danny massive congratulations what a way to win the game yeah it's amazing um you know getting a winning goal in a d moments of a game at home in front of your own fans it's a it's a special feeling and you can see with the celebrations at the end the adrenaline running through everybody it's a it's a great way to get three points and especially in your first home game of the season as well yeah exactly um we want to make this place a fortress so any team that comes here don't want to play here and uh we got that on the way um to get the three points today it's been a good start but we know it's also um really important to remain um remain levelheaded you know never too high never too low and we go with it we're ready to go next week again a special day for you your Century goal you've got a 100 Club career goals now and against the club where it all started for you what does that mean yeah it's uh it's bit it's bit crazy how it swings around in circles and you know I wish I got to this uh this uh before a lot a lot quicker um obviously with injuries and stuff like that it's been really difficult but um I'm glad to still be feeling fit strong you know and still going and uh I'm looking forward to getting many more what a start to the season as well two games two goals not bad at 33 yeah 33 is a new 21 I guess um I'm feeling good I'm feeling fair strong um the the Gaff has coming with some new ideas and everybody's adapted well I think it's been a tough preseason but one that's uh went to Japan and then having to come back and then get into the swing things and back home but it's been a really good preseason and it's been a good start but as I said before we remain levelheaded what is the new manager like what's he like to work under how different what are the things you like the most well obviously every every manager comes with new ideas um so there have been a lot of things that we've um we've maybe kept the same it's not been like too dra IC of a change but there are a lot of um new ideas that he's brought to the team that uh we have to really get used to we're still getting used to it now um it's just a start uh it's been a great first impression and uh it's been obviously to get two wins in the first two games it's been great but now we have to work harder and uh go again next week there's obviously lots of new faces in this team as well and it looks like a team full of so much attacking threat so many different options what do you think you bring the attack yeah um I think every single attacking player has got their own um sort of ability that they can bring everyone special in the wrong way um we've got so much talent as you me mentioned and um it's it's going to be a a difficult difficult decision for the gaffa to make but it's a it's a healthy headache to have um to have the competition there everybody wanting to make an impact when they're run the pitch um in training every single day it's a great uh great headache for him to have and for me I know that I can bring a lot of experience and you know experience is invaluable and to being around different situations and been through them in my career so it's always good to have that uh that knowledge and you know to keep it with me on the pitch and off the pitch I know you've still got a good relationship with Rio Ferdinand who's in our studio today he wanted to know at your age how's the limbs oh the limbs are good the better than he well when he was 33 the better than that I'll let you know that cuz I remember some days he was walking into car car and like he was uh he was at 90° like with his back so so Rio I'm watching you bro Danny thank you very much and congratulations again thank you take care appreciate it thank you
