so the game finishes Forest one wolves one a score draw let's get into the player ratings good morning good evening or good night hope you guys are doing well welcome to the player ratings where to be honest the second half was a bit of a draw board draw for me but I really did enjoy that first half if you're enjoying the content as always take a quick second please do hit that like button subscribe to farest fan TV if you are new and look lot of there are positives plenty of them first one we're still undefeated would you have said with draw both home games and win away I think I would have I honestly think we should be on about seven points which would put us top of the league but anyway that's not the point here in terms of the game itself I like the lineup yes I would have made some tweaks I would have really liked jotu to have started ahead of alanga I wanted to see Alex Moreno and Anar as the fullbacks and to be honest after Callum Hudson and do who for me was a bit too predictable I think the substitution of Sosa needed to be done earlier he came on and he just looked like he played with a lot of energy like he wanted to prove a point like he should should be starting whereas khum hudon was a bit too predictable for me and I just think the substitutions in general for me are the theme of this game and they've been the theme of Nuno for quite a while now he's making them too late he's making the right substitutions but he's just making them a bit too late had he made some of those substitutions earlier and batched them a little instead of bringing Yates on by himself and then Sosa on by himself if he made substitutions I think we a lot of us and me in particular were crying out for it at half time those changes needed to be made I think sangar should have come off at halim alanga should have come off at halim and probably wouldn't have taken Callum Hudson Ando at halim but maybe switch niiko Williams Because what Kun andori were doing down that left hand side were doubling up on him and he was struggling there as well but the first half was so entertaining especially in the buildup to where Forest took the lead it was turning into a basketball match there was lots of nice passages of play for me we took the lead and then you make the cardinal sin era of conceding early I think you could if you want to blame someone I mean you can't on the shot it was a worldy SS is not to blame for me at all Tang's clearance was a little lazy he could have got it further down the pitch instead of more sideways um and then Anar didn't need to turn away from the ball like that he literally got out the way um in terms of the goal itself it was a lovely corner from Anderson floated in deep into the box and wood just guided his header then and gets himself another goal however I will still say Wood's overall input into the game isn't that much for me he's still playing too deep there was so many times where he's behind Morgan gibs and Morgan Gibs white gets the ball he looks up and there's no one in front of him to play and I think that is is a problem and then when Taio came on he looked more knacked when he came on than wood did who had fair play to him stayed on for the the whole match Taio is either seriously not sharp or he is seriously low on confidence or both of them but Sosa for me was brilliant when he came on I thought Anderson for about 70 minutes was Sensational he then himself looked knackered and Morgan Gibbs white when we went into the 442 when he played deeper in the eight I felt he was more involved in controlling the game I didn't think he had the greatest of first halfs but when he went into the eight I'm I'm kind of I'm kind of being convinced now to play him a little bit deeper maybe put jutter as the 10 if he wants to stick with a 4231 play Morgan a bit deeper and then have your two Wingers that could potentially work so there's there's a lot of goods there's still some definite improvements that need to be made that's four points we've now dropped already this season from winning positions so you know there there is some stuff that needs to be worked on but we're eighth in the table subject to the rest of the games that needs to be played and we're in a comfortable position all things right now are indicating towards a a Crystal Palace style season where we just we just kind of meander into mid-table and to be honest with my heart as it is I would take that I would take that so let's get into the player ratings uh the link is pinned for you guys in the chat so get okay let's get into the player ratings and we'll kick it off with Sals look Sals was fine for me no real issues with Sals but I'm going to sound repetitive my main issue was the bloody long balls I I'll give the excuse from the other week that I think R came up with that SS was you know playing it long to avoid the Press wolves weren't that high pressy so I I don't know why we had that strategy of the long ball still that one's annoying me it's definitely an instruction um but overall he didn't really have many saves to make he had no chance against the goal I'm going to give him probably seven I think um he he was fine I got no issues with his performance so I give Sals a seven out of 10 you guys have gone 6.08 for CS 99 of you voted could one more vote so my OCD doesn't go into overload I've seen that comment what Adams put in there a lot um SS was okay but would Miguel have made the save today that's the whole butterfly effect so we don't know the the answer is we don't know he may have done he may not have done we don't know we don't know okay let let's move on to the right back and that is nicoo Williams let's just bring him up I'm I'm still not sold on nicoo Williams I thought they targeted him a lot of wolves attacks came in from that side um his shooting is woeful uh he did really well to create the chance and then just blazes over the bar I I'm not sold on him maybe it's because I'm fixated in my head of Ana moving out to the right hand side and Alex Moreno on the left I don't know but you know his shot was nearly as high as Tai's penalty um I just feel he's weak defensively like physically I mean weak and I just I'm not buying the hype into him at all I'm going to give niiko a five out of 10 for me today I just I don't think he produces enough right remember we how much did we pay for him was it 17 a half million and you got Anar who was a free okay I know price means nothing but 17 and a half million when we got promoted put him at our second or third most expensive signing That season yes he's improved under Nuno but the output isn't there for me what's he got one goal and two assists in two and a bit years now I I think I they were just breaking back to a wolves player so he wasn't getting too much support in there so there was a lot of there was a lot of hate coming toward W sangar probably Brucey on his fake accounts but I don't think he's bad my my bigger concern more so was that his stamina levels are shocking now did he come off because of the knock he got just before halim I think that may have been the reason and he just maybe they said they'd try him out for five to 10 minutes um but again I probably would have taken him off at halim so I don't think he had a good game I think that's probably his worst game since since preseason as in since last season almost um but was but this is the this is the general problem I still have with our Midfield we never seem to have a pairing that can just dominate hold the ball up control the pace of the game slow it down speed it up depending on what we need at the time and I'd also say that he probably took One Touch Too Many before releasing the ball as well and then he's picked up another yellow card I can see him getting a suspension quite quickly to be honest so I'm I'm going to give him a five out of 10 you guys are going to be like you're so freaking Gibbs white but Anderson's Corners are way better in fact I would put Anderson on both sides I don't know why ala's taking the other s side I don't think Al langa's Corners have been that great I'm team the opp I'm talking the opposition who play up on the halfway line where we can put the ball in over the top and let him use his Pace like we did against Newcastle I will go as far to say as I think alanga suits Cooper's football more than he does nuno's ball because I think alanga looked really good under kooper and not as good under Nuno and because what you'd find with Cooper ball is the opposition of playing on the halfway line leaving the space in behind for him to run he's he's kind of got do you remember when Johnson was similar in his style where instead of Crossing he would shoot instead of shooting he would cross but then Johnson got that out of his game I think back to the Chelsea game uh when we still had jonno where he could have put a player in but then he rectified it the next week in the Southampton match L langa's not doing that for me Stuart you're right he's a sterling or an Aaron lenon I don't know if you guys remember lenon but he's a bit of an Aaron lenon predict able too many times curing in curing in curing in and one or two opportunities he made for his cheat code shot he didn't really hit them clean and they just bubbled through to the keeper or got blocked I I just I just am worried a little bit just a little bit that the opposition now know what to expect with him and I think he just needs to spice up sometimes go outside sometimes go inside sometimes lay it off and make a run um you know it's when Sosa came on I thought he was more versatile in what he was doing he was going outside he was cutting in he was crossing the ball Left Foot Right Foot it didn't matter I think the biggest problem Callum Hudson andoy has is that he's too right-footed so it's very rare he'll run to the by line and then just whip across in and I think that's part of the problem that of him being predictable but I'm not I'm not saying he had a stinker today by the way either I just feel it was obvious every time he was cutting in it was just too obvious that it was going to happen and wolves dealt with it quite easily I give him a five um out of 10 but that's why I'm giving him the five you guys went 5.5 Nick saying no player should have been above a four I disagree man I Sosa was good Anderson was good and the two Defenders were all right I don't know I'm I'm a little deflated just because I felt the first half was so good and we were building momentum towards something and then when we took the lead in my heart I was thinking we should be kicking on now and then we give away that goal and it's you just wonder if we'd held out for five minutes what would it have been like you know could it have been a lot different I don't know I don't know anyway so that's him um talk about Morgan Gibbs white stand out moments his free kick was actually really good Sam Johnson did really well to save it yes Krypto how you doing um I I just personally think when he dropped deeper when we went to a 442 he looked way way better way way haven't got sofa score go scan uh type in exclamation mark So if you're in there check the average player position was would deeper than Morgan Gibbs white on average I haven't seen it but Ado will probably guess he's at least level with him and that creates a problem that creates a problem that he only then has two real outlets on the wing and nothing in front of him that's my worry this is why we we needed a striker so badly in this window um you guys gone a 6.7 again we're not too far off I'll accept a 6.7 on a Morgan Gibbs white just want to see more from him says Matt I agree he seems uh have a more Dynamic forward who could still score would we would we get more out of the game would we get more out of the game because when when you look at it realistically today's goal was from a set piece the second goal had it gone in was from a set piece um who scored against Southampton I can't even remember Morgan Gibbs white that was from a set piece off the back of a corner Bournemouth who scored for Bournemouth Chris Wood did we score from a corner against Bournemouth I can't remember chat I've gone blank on that goal no no no it was a cross wasn't Yates took the shot so 66% of our dead it's like what what can be done here and this is our backup for Chris Wood who's playing too deep who is scoring the goals if chriswood goes through a dry patch we better rely on the Wingers to
