Rubes observations brought to you by Bradford White Water Heaters observation number one got to start out with something positive they did win the game I think this is a game that they don't win at the end of last year thought the Eagles showed tremendous resilience they were trailing four separate times there really four separate comebacks it was such a back and forth game the turnovers the penalties Miss tackles the blown coverages I get all that but the sum total of tonight was that they found a way to win a game that on a lot of of occasions I thought the Packers were really on the brink of kind of putting away so at the end of last year what was the Eagles biggest problem it was just um they didn't fight back when they when they got punched in the face they didn't fight back and and tonight they did number two saquan I I'll be honest I didn't know what to expect this year from saquon um he hasn't been a great player for most of the last four years with the Giants he's had a lot of injuries and I kept telling myself he's never had this kind of talent around him either in all his years with the Giants he had one Pro Bowl team on offense and that was Evan Ingram one year in 2020 tight end so you surround him with this kind of talent and you see what you get you get a guy who defenses can't key on because there's Dallas G there's Devonte there's AJ Brown uh there's Jaylen Herz and and we saw the the product of that was just a big- Time playmaker I thought he looked fast thought he looked powerful thought he looked elusive U very clutch and big moments uh the touchdown catch was a kind of play you never see from a run running back that wheel route getting both feet down that was really something special and it kind of gives you a little glimpse of how he's going to be used and number three look jaylen's got to be smarter he's got to be better the interceptions are are concerning he did some good things he made some good throws but he's in his fifth year now and he's got to know better than to put the ball in arms way those are both just bad decisions there were there were plays that had no chance of working and a huge chance of being disastrous and they both were you don't win very many games turn the ball over three times and Jaylen knows he's just got to be a lot better than he was tonight [Music]
