hi I'm Jimmy Darren and this was my first apartment here in California in 1954 I wasn't even in the acting business then as a matter of fact uh I lived up there right well actually this apartment right here on the left and um go up those stairs there wasn't any security gate there in 54 because you didn't need security gates in 54 was a lot a lot more peaceful time you know and then my friend Vicki Thal and Mona her sister lived in apartment 5 and we'd have all the she'd have all the actors come in uh John Saxon who was actually Vicky's boyfriend and James Dean and we just sit around there and discuss acting I didn't know what the heck I was talking about because I wasn't really inacurate you know but I was happy to be in that company and then we go across the street to googies or to Green blat you know which is right next door it's pretty cool yeah once again are most welome this Chanel thank you so much for subscribing and watching our videos you always of VI dear viewers continue subscribing follow like and comment good morning good afternoon wherever you are we bringing you the S news of Jus Daren who went from Idol status acting in youth oriented movies like G to becoming an actor in TV shows such as Star Treck de Space 9 and TJ hooka and a singer and a director died Monday at SED siai Hospital in Los Angeles he was only 88 years old his son Jim mored said that he had been able to express his love for his family while becoming being treated in the cardiac unit he was a good man he was very talented Mor said he was Forever Young Mor said he was grateful that his father had been able to embrace his signature role as the SA mue the gadget movie and that he continued to interact with his fans born in Philadelphia he started acting with Stella Elder in New York and was signed to Colombia pictures where he was his first role was in rumble on the docks he went to appear in films including operational M ball and GH men work before being cast in the 1959 movie JJ Starling Sandra d and K Robertson Dar also sang the title track of the hit movie which was based on the experience of a teenager Sagal in maribu and later became a popular T Series the GJ theme song launched a successful singer career for Daren who had a gold record with goodbye crew World in 1961 and released at least 14 albums he continued to appear in films including the gun of no the Gin CER story all the young men and because they are young he reprised his role as mon inet goes and again in goes to Rome though he was tired of the T type casting by them moving into television he startled in the series that Tano and after a brief sergeon in Italy appearing in Jess Francis Venice in F he went out to get cast one of the numerous series including Love American Style Fantasy Island and The Love Boat Darren was Alle on T J hookah from 1983 to 1986 and also mov into T directing working on series including B Hills 900210 and more Rose play he found a new generation of fans in 1998 as Vicki fond and holographic L singer on Star Trek Deep Space 9 he survived by his wife eny a son Jim Mor Christen Narin and Tony Dar and five grand children we want to send our sincere condolences to the family friends and fans and the people who loved him and we pray that may his soul rest in Eternal peace thank you so for watching up this far
