hello after putting fans on the edge of their seats in season 1 tell me Lies Season 2 Episode 1 makes it apparent that this was only the beginning of this tangled web of falsehoods the new season begins in two places in 2015 during the nights leading up to Evan and Bree's wedding and at the end of summer each has its own dramatic plot to keep people entertained a grim reality with classes returning it's time to face reality and confront the devastation left behind at College Lydia's animosity for Steven is still strong and she is ready to defend and protect her best buddy Lydia may not be returning to school with Lucy but her younger brother Chris is so she asks Lucy to care for him Steven succeeded well in Diana's Father's Law Practice but his future is determined by his elat scores Evan is still terribly awful about cheating on bri with Lucy and Wrigley is struggling with Drew's refusal to speak with him despite his best efforts to hide it Steven explains that Wrigley has been attempting to reconcile with his brother but Drew blames him for everything that happened last year naturally they have a party on their first night back which is quite eventful Wrigley's teammates continue to harass Pippa kicking her out of the beer queue and causing her to see her former with another female Lucy gets to catch Evan alone and the two resolve not to inform Bri about what transpired between them because neither wants to hurt her she then runs into Steven and they have a horribly tense and unpleasant chat partially addressing the elephant or should I say mistake in the room we also meet Leo who immediately hits it up with Lucy push too far the next day Bri manipulates her way into MaryAnn's class so Lucy does not have to take it alone like last year at lunch Evan begins describing that he and Bri are in a strange environment prompting Steven to accurately surmise that his friend cheated and is attempting to overcompensate thankfully Evan claims it was with a random girl rather than Lucy while visiting maran's house for her celebration Bri meets ol of her outside pretending to smoke he discusses her Waterworks display in the registar office that morning which he witnessed she adds some men respond better to little girls inside Lucy runs into Diana and implies that she knows more about Steven than she does which gets under Diana's skin after class Maryanne asks Lucy if she wants to transcribe the book she's writing for extra credit the girls go to lunch with Leo which makes Steven envious and tries to ruin it for Lucy by pretending to apologize for repeatedly embarrassing her last year among other things Lucy takes the road but she does not acknowledge Him or his statements but later when it finally hits home she confronts him in his dorm smashing and breaking his new phone before threatening to destroy his life if he continues to mess with her a startling new Duo joins the scene obviously everyone is still trying to figure out what happened that caused Lydia to date Steven let alone become engaged to him a brief confrontation with Lydia in the 2015 timeline shows that she will never forgive Lucy for any of it after that seeing Steve is enough to send Lucy home from the celebration Pippa also returns home and fans will be surprised to discover Diana waiting for her the two kissing as it is revealed that Diana is the girl she has been dating and mentioned earlier in the episode however based on this brief exchange it is evident that Pippa was downplaying their relationship for the benefit of her friend
