we're going to watch the game we're going to talk about the game as the game play so uh I'm super pumped up ready to bring you uh my perspective and um just happy to be here man it's it's it's fun quite a bit in the next in the next couple of hours um but with that being said man uh when you look at the games that have already been played while we're waiting on this Alabama game to start because they haven't even like done anything yet let me check here I don't think they have anything even load yeah they don't have anything loaded yet uh man there there's some stuff there's already some storylines to talk about here right Vanderbilt yeah Vander taken down Virginia Tech uh a lot of people have Virginia Tech is a dark horse uh so the SEC getting started early when it comes to like really really starting to own the SEC ACC sorry and then you see what Florida does and the way Florida looks and go ahead and give me your take on that man yeah no man it's uh it was an inter in day for sure as far as games go um you know I think the the biggest thing that stood out to me today was you know we we saw some teams who um definitely have some things to work on we we saw some teams who maybe everyone had questions with right um and I'll tell you like you know Miami was a team I'm gonna be honest I I didn't know if they'd put it together but cam Ward is obviously that guy um big deal so um you know we we're seeing that with the way they were R in Florida and as a shocker I mean for the longest time even Ohio State today versus uh akan was sitting there going like what's going to happen with them uh you know they they finally started putting up the points but it's late late in the game so um so yeah but you know here here we go we're getting after it and it's going to be a fun day and we finally get a talk uh talk some Alabama football we saw everyone else do their thing but you know now we get to see uh see what's going on at uh University of Alabama roll tide thank fast and intense and physical and look I understand there's going to be mistakes guys uh we already know there's going to be mistakes you know this is a brand new staff this is you know I mean a a lot of new players right so we got the transfers and Jeremy Bernard a lot of guys stepping into roles that they haven't been able to in the past couple of seasons and then you hear these players which gets me excited talking about they're excited right Jaylen millero talking about it's exciting to play football again and it speaks on where this program was kind of at right at the end of Nick sabin's era there ER era there gez I can't talk um yeah it makes you makes you think man like um you know everybody's gonna have their their down Seasons downtime and stuff like that and yeah I think this is some infusion of youth back into this program yeah no it will be um it's going to be a lot of fun to see the transition right from Savin but also see what Still Remains in place with the way you know we've already heard some of it in um some of the press conference and and pregame conference um talk through from kayin theor is that with him you know he he already praises the players in the way that they talk the way that they prepare the way that they have the discipline the way that they pay attention to detail those are all things that come from kayn I mean come from Nick Sabin right like that is that is part of the foundation that Sabin has left so it's cool to hear that from the boore how much he appreciates it and then it's cool to see dbor bring his his own pieces right of this this truly this like Brotherhood right the Brotherhood was created through the hard work that was done under Savin now like the family uh and the brother I guess the Brotherhood you know is created um is even more deep right with the way kayin the boore brings about his mindset and this this closeness with the team connecting on a on another level so again it's the evolution of the tide right put it that way yeah um and uh and I'm gonna C coin phrase that so nobody take it I I will find you so I will find you evolution of the tide is mine don't don't you guys dare hard yeah so um but here's the deal so it's going to be a fun time we're going to see these differences and we are about to kick off yeah we're kicking off right now so I'm waiting for the Gamecast to load for you guys fun today to see kind of what Western Kentucky brings you know um offensively you know they typically have this Air Raid Offense but they run it out of 11 or 12 man Personnel um for those who don't know what that means 11 or 12 man Personnel uh the first number is the halfback second number is your tight end so yep um 11 means you have one halfback and one tight end on the field 12 means you have one halfback and two tight ends on the field they like to have a tight end on the field we'll see a lot of 11 personnel by Western Kentucky so all right it's it's so weird bro I'm watching this game and it's so strange saying seeing kayin debor on on that sideline man like it is so so wild and yeah no and we we definitely enjoy we're definitely gonna enjoy doing this we're gonna be doing this I'm GNA try to do it every single game right so um in all honesty and yeah of course coach Sean and Tai yeah and I'm sure they got their own things going on probably watching the game somewhere or something like that but yeah we got some exciting new things coming for you guys so it looks like there's already an issue on the field yeah it's bad weather there too well no no no it's actually issue with um the other team uh looks like Western Kentucky is having headset issues oh my gosh and this is expected guys I mean it's the first year of having headsets in college football uh in case you guys don't know they get the first 15 seconds uh after I guess when they start the clock they get 15 seconds to get the play call in the quarterback and then it cuts off after 15 seconds and then you're going to have to see hand adjustments and stuff like that so yeah and we're not going to be ignoring a bunch of you guys' comments we're gonna be flipping back and forth so give us time to go guys are looking they're looking good this is what I want to see coverage wise some uh uh interesting note while we're sitting here uh waiting for referees to give us a quick little update of what's going on with clocks and everything else interesting note Malachi Moore and Keon Sab switched spots um based on the depth chart so did not know that but I I like the switch so they move Malachi over you had Q robob at your wolf at the side your field side the wide side of the field you had Jihad Campbell at your Bandit and then sitting at your stinger was was Justin Jefferson and then at your mic was Deontay Lawson so you had a speed package in there exactly what we thought we would see maybe in some of these um passing Downs where they are you know like they're third and long right y they need to they that ball can't come out quick from the quarterback so what do we want to do of course we're going to bring a speed package and we're going to rush them well because our odds of of making a turnover or sack are really high so of pretty amazing sorry somebody messaged me uh on the phone it dude you know what their comm's issue is with Western Kentucky so this is just supposedly right this is from someone that's there uh they're being told that they can't get past their user agreement screen which you'll see here in a minute okay you have to scroll through as a coach and click you agree for something on the head the coms and they can't get past that screen oh that which is are you serious user agreement screen you guys should have test don't you have a don't you have Electronics guy to test this um no man that's that's funny that's crazy um webre I I get you 100% um the strong side in this defense is the wide side of the field I totally get you man I I I I know it more uh complicated buddy so you know what I'm saying but that is uh that is considered strong side I see what you're saying now yeah Pam I did see Ryan's uh Ryan's one handed catch well the no sack thing's not going to go through so I don't know if they're going to count that as a I'm sure they'll count that as a sack I don't know if how far behind are you um you the offense is started playing start the season my typical thing is I tell people to close their eyes the first quarter right the Jitters stuff like that in my in my opinion what do you think you played so yeah when you first come off you know obviously it's a lot different in a big game or in a game right so uh you're coming in I mean what are the Jitters like when you come into a game like this yeah I mean especially um when you're kind of picking up something new I can tell you from like a freshman standpoint um just from like a youth you know maybe an older guys it's a little easier but from the youth standpoint I can remember coming in and you you don't feel like you quite have yeah pritet uh I'm wondering where for's at um we're trying to figure figure that out right now because formb was considered to get the start at the right tackle so um but the thing I I get to with that is there are a lot of your adrenaline is going really high right it's high yeah and so um you know um so yeah so that's you know that's a that's that's how you kind of see it when you walk in and yeah I know El homre I get you up field Corners is the wide side um and then the uh the boundary side is your boundary Corner dude this defense is so fast yeah it's meant to play like this bro yeah sideline to sideline is incredible incredible I mean well this is exactly why I think they're playing kirusa man you know what I'm interception hey and La I didn't see it man was so was pritchet at the left tackle was was Kaden not out there Bret Bret was at left tackle he's the one that got beat on the sack that caused the fumble that we recovered for formy was at the right tackle got you okay so that means Proctor where's Proctor at there just wait he's probably going in just give it a second we're about to see yeah I mean Eman Eman who's uh Pam you said Eman love it so the one thing I uh got a chance when I went up to see TJ Finley play I noticed something just from me watching he really struggles when he has to go past that first progression oh got you got so and that's just something I personally saw you know what I mean like guys I didn't play college or nothing like that but you know I try to use what I know of watching to apply it to some degree um let's see here o okay there's something I love it let's see who is starting now so Jam's already in Formby is in the game so yeah it's Formby uh where so Proctor's not out there I don't I didn't see Proctor um I can tell you look at that package bro that that reminds me of like if we just had a running back dear God dude that's swap they we're going to he won't turn out to be something um right better than what he is but man like you saw the players that we put on the field and then you're seeing these guys get drafted in the first round but the but at Alabama it was like well I I didn't see that you know what I mean like yeah it just seemed like just can never get put together coach I here I still got Clemson winning the ACC uh man I'll be honest with you the way I saw cam Ward move in that Miami offense they G they're gonna give some people problems because uh cam Ward can throw that thing if they if they keep putting it together like I that was a big question for me with Miami I said you know I said this earlier for those who didn't join in we do a a breakfast tailgate me and Coach I Saturday morning it is a lot of fun we talk all of the college football pregame for um just you know our own little our own little College uh game day except called The Breakfast tailgate so um and who knows we're going to keep making that grow but I'll tell you this is um I I we talked about this this morning and one of the things I had said with Miami is like I I need to see Miami be like I want to see him be dominant I want to see them who they who they are you know what I'm saying like yep if if they're going to be this team with the players that they have they need to show it and to be honest with you today they stepped up to the play Big Time and if they keep growing they're gonna be very dangerous very dangerous what what really look here's this is when I watched that game what impressed me the most was how the Run game complemented the pass game right the moment cam Ward was open able to open up and throw the ball and Florida had to back off dude it it was it was over look at KD baby KD in his youth yeah yeah so then Coach I hear s picking up where he left off at Michigan yeah know he he was really good at Michigan he left there I believe because of Jim Harbaugh evening correct me if I'm wrong uh had nothing to do with him not starting I think that I also think it's just some family stuff though too um he was he was starting at the end of season but his family his brothers are being really highly recruited by Alabama they there's some close TI there um so I think that's where uh some of that comes from too um so but I love it man love this thanks thanks coach I love this uh watch party format just like Ty said in case you guys haven't seen his stuff around the table Sports make sure you go check him out he gave a good take on that of LT Overton just not being used correctly um and then Alabama brings him over and puts him in his true position and then quick update for everybody don't mean to interrupt you John um King Proctor is injured he looks like he possibly got injured in warm-ups um it just was released so Kaden Proctor is injured I do not think we'll see him that's why we were seeing pites start at left tackle just for every update for everybody um so that is it's both like that's I mean and this is this is that husky position right like red is playing in the Husky spot this is exactly what it's meant for you're meant for either coverage based on the pass but your discipline is to play um and and force that player right come downhill force that player into the boundary so um dude they cannot he's get first down that's good but man they cannot they Russa cannot be like held up he gets run left tackle every single time yeah he's a he is putting moves on this dude the problem is he put the move on the inside it Finly just bolted to the outside I like seeing that they're they're moving the D line around if you guys watch a little bit 44 I believe Damien pay yep I think he's sitting there at the Bandit right now I believe potentially y uh 34 no that's Q Rob that's close yeah they got him they got red morg on pass interference that that's legit defin good coverage I mean it was good coverage I think it's just that hand play yeah you know you man we are getting to the QB and I get it I understand as Western Kentucky guys but even last year against South Florida in those teames we weren't seeing this we weren't seeing the intensity either Gap uh C Gap kind of stunt right like he showing like he's going to come but then he drops back into a coverage into a hook curl um and then it looks like you had your mic go start moving towards uh was just it was basically a basketball Shuffle right he got the depth he needed and he was good it literally was like he was waiting on the receiver to come to him and then he just stepped up a couple steps and just to the ball like you said like just see here sabs a taker yeah two interceptions in in the first first quarter that's right if you had him on fantasy you had the defense on fantasy right now you'd be doing pretty good that's right all right looking like God I like it man you definitely uh pay attention on the defensive side of the ball too when we get back on defense is uh watch the rotation of the different defensive linemen there's a lot of guys playing looks like jam Miller is gonna be taking the bulk of the snaps as far as from the running back position here and yeah I knew that was going to happen the moment yeah yep I don't know what that play was do you know what that play was going to be I know obviously um jam run out to the flat there yeah is either they're gonna look for the screen uh a dump off right like in into the flats and let Jam do his thing depending on how the guys crashed but he had they had a they had man they had Man Press um so I'll tell you they're probably looking on a one-on-one match up for one wide receivers to beat beat the man coverage so like yeah at the bottom of the screen they're play they're we'll see what the corner does see that so it's they're playing man or yeah y they're playing they're playing B press on the bottom they're playing um nice nice beautiful Alabama beautiful great play great play great play I love it you think about that one while they're at break yeah I think it's um I think that uh it's GNA be a good game I really do I think you you're watching Mike Elco um matchup with Riley Leonard I think that's going to be exciting to see considering you know Riley playing Elco system he knows elco's defense Elco knows you know Riley's Tendencies um and then you know on the same time you look at the standpoint of saying all right like what is not Dame going to do for Riley to benefit him in this system um they got a young offensive line so I think that's going to be the interesting part is how they gel we've kind of seen some of the struggles with the offensive lines that aren't um that are younger already Oklahoma's had that a little bit um and there's a few other teams that had that but on the same on the same time Notre Dame's defense should be very very good um and that is that's what I'm going to be watching is that defense again I'm a defensive guy for you guys that don't know like I that you know I played Safety so um that was that's my thing and you know play a division one level you know power four so um that that's where for me like I I really tune in and I'm watching that defense and saying okay like where where are the pieces what are they doing how are they shifting how are they hiding things right one thing you're seeing right now with wck that he's already doing um early on just to get these guys comfortable is he you're seeing where guys are showing one look right and then um dropping into another look even though they might be listed as this position we just saw with like um there was a play in the last series on defense where K robob showed you know uh showed like he was coming like a stunt like he was coming on a blitz down either the b or a gap right but he ends up dropping back into the hook curl which is you know straight back like you have hook hook hook curl hook curl hook curl and you got your uh your um klat and so it was interesting to see the way they did that cuz then they shifted the mic down to the curl flat so it was uh it was cool to see because it's it's just it that that that style that shifting that movement confuses that quarterback that's why you're and not to mention you're bringing the pressure you're bringing heat off the edge I I am very impressed right now with our Bandit play but that that doesn't happen if our nose tackle and D tackle are not doing their jobs and I'll tell you right now they're doing their jobs like Tim Smith you know see him out there for sure Tim Keenan Damen Payne we're seeing Damen Payne out there Damen Payne was playing a little bit of banded two which was cool to see um you know I you're just seeing a lot of rotation right these guys are staying fresh and they're doing a great job of of of feeling those you know taking on and confusing these linemen right therefore our guys off the edge are getting some getting some free shots here at TJ Finley who's having to make some quick reads therefore you know we're just using that that vision coverage right that pop and drop dude you know that's what that's what it is pop and drop Jam jam and drop dude jam and drop you know El ombre you must have played or Coach man because I think you got some stuff over here man I like it I like what you're saying over here brother all right so going for the kickoff here yeah I don't think you're gonna see many returns this year for anybody uh when you're playing against Alabama so yeah um it's just I'm I'm glad the weather's holding up because um I had a couple people hit me up that are in tuscala today and they said it was like pouring down it got nasty I guess earlier so it's they're definitely playing on the wet field and there's definitely somebody down on special teams as we scan across here but U yeah and during halftime guys what we'll do is we'll we'll talk about other games stuff we' watched and stuff like that so we be involved as quickly as we can in that as well um because we got some games going on right now as well all right so we're good nobody seriously injured number six on special teams I don't I'll be honest that's Cam Howard is it yeah Smith making some plays that guy this is what you need in the middle for this defense 100% And it looks what I don't know Western kuy calling if their headsets are working because it seems like they're looking over for calls n they're gonna be doing that anyways um it's probably it's extremely loud yeah it does doesn't matter that is true that is true here you go pocket claps that's the boom there we go great job great job great job it looked like that was uh Jad Kim on that tackle great great play one thing's for sure I think we can definitively make this statement the defensive line is going to be a problem for everybody the int intensity on that defensive line is crazy that's right that's right you had uh LT Overton too man I tell you man it's impressive to see that guy moving the way he's running I mean he's chasing down ball carriers man I love to see that that's exactly what uh what he loves to do and he's not a small guy no he's 270s he trimmed down when he went to Texas of talked about this in a video uh with the way these tight ends play into this offense CJ dpri looks like FAL start Yep looks like a big wide receiver he does he does he uh he has a great well and that's the thing about it with these tight ends is that they'll be utilized right because they we saw it even in the first um got to be a little more disciplined come on book you got it buddy um but we saw even in the first series you saw that shift and movement right in the first series that's you're going to see that and what that does is your tight end becomes a very unique resource in this you see them split out right now on the on the uh up top on the boundary side so yes sir the report came in that he is out for the game and he is in a sling and has an apparent arm injury yeah okay all right well hopefully we're seeing uh Kaden this won't be like a longterm thing um I'm guessing it definitely probably has to do with either a muscle strain or rotator cuff just the way he's holding his shoulder yeah and we got holding on the offense yeah Kobe prenis he had a hold on the guy that's okay hey man you know what yeah we know we want to get downfield and get those blocks just got to be disciplined how we move our feet right yep but this is one of those times where you start to say okay let's see uh Jaylen start to sling it yeah that's that's yeah that's what I want to see so it definitely probably was a uh miscommunication for West Kentucky coverage but regardless it was a uh great play great play and H good Vision great ball I'm gonna be honest that was a hell of a assuming that this a cover two while the safety's preoccupied with the guy going up to Hash so well Co correct me if I'm wrong cover two if you're a safety aren't you supposed to be deeper than the deepest and Wier than the whitest or no or does that depend on the there there's a lot of it depends on a lot of different things because it's there's you know there's there's rules for lining up correct there's uh a lot of people call like a 51 bottom rule that that has to do with Nick San and his coverage there's a lot of um different rules regarding regarding that coverage but really your protection for a lot of people in cover two the hash is like typically that weak point if you don't get a jam on the guy and so the safety obviously got preoccupied with the uh receiver coming up to Hash yeah and that's what this offense does it's going to spread you out it's going to preoccupy your eyes and it's going to have to make you're gonna have to make decisions and that's where you know ver opponents where they have if they not disciplined in the secondary there's going to be breakdowns just like what we just saw so so what you're telling me is that this is going to look really good think that's the biggest saying on kick return it's like you kind of I know a lot of guys like to kind of spread it out a little and and keep working to find a a better Lane but man as soon he had a little bit of a lane there if he would have taken it on that uh coming back to uh back to the bottom of the screen he could have hit that lane and and gotten some yards out of that but hey it's first that this also has to do with you know maturity and everything else but at the same time no matter who you are uh game one it's a big deal you know I mean you want to uh you want to settle as quickly as you can so you can start to process the information and that's a big part of this offense I think that a lot of people don't understand is that for Jaylen as he settles down which hopefully we'll start to see in this next uh okay yep yep right there crap oh come on now D dude we can't be doing that no no come on now come on Parker yeah that wasn't good there's a reason why so many of us were so excited when you came over no 100% but don't at least he's not rolling it backwards but yeah again this is what I was just saying this goes into it's game one like everyone's adrenaline is really really uh really H like high right like the energy it's it's it's it's a lot right so um you got everyone has to kind of just settle right yep you have to settle um and that's this offense right now um they need to settle that's for sure leam is getting in there man he needs to just wrap up when he's hitting those tackles yeah you know you ain't you're not going to sign still from Alabama bro they got they got everybody covered like you moving your hands they're covering you in way yeah 100% it's so funny sign stealing stuff geez man did you watch that documentary since we're no I haven't man I haven't watched it yet it's great yeah it's something I've definitely wanted to see but um but no like we're in this break it's it's good to explain while before everybody um out there and everyone and everything you see on Twitter starts freaking out is like we're number one game one your adrenaline is extremely high so you step out on the field like you're almost in like what we would call um just kind of like code black right and law enforcement I've talked about it before a little bit is like when you're training new guys I used to work law enforcement as well when you're training new guys you want to you need to expose them to stress so they can make good decisions of stress but you don't want them to get to a point where they can't even think right yeah so they need to feel stress so they can understand how to make decisions and calm themselves down right um and there's a the square breathing technique right four four and four um so that that can be useful but in these situations especially in football very similars you go out there and you're just like I mean you're ready to go even as we get to this end of this first quarter you're so pumped up you have so much flowing through you that yeah you're going to get a little bit that that you get those overthrows you get those those um passes that might be a little behind you get the running back being maybe too fast to hit the hole and not being patient you get the uh the tackles right there you go you're seeing it with with pritet a little bit pritet needs to just calm down like I think that's what they all need to say is and they're probably saying it to them right now on the sidelines the whole offense they're saying all right guys we're we're right where we need to be as far as we obviously know our plays um are working we know that we we are seeing things but we have to calm down to let everything come into play right like everyone has to they have their assignment we work as one unit let's not make dumb little errors you know let's not like over overdo it let's just play how we know how to play let's calm down and that's what's the beauty of having a coach like kayn debor if you watch kayin debor on the sideline do you see him if if if Nick Sabin was on the sideline some of the things have already happened that's happened what do you think Nick would be like happy about that Nick would be slamming his [ __ ] into the ground so hard he be man he'd be cussing somebody out right now you know what I'm saying the one thing that did the way that I like about kayen the bo game I love Nick's G Nick's Nick's style of coaching don't get me wrong that's how I was coached but I'll tell you this is um with the boore his style of coaching is is Poise right so what he does and how that helps his team like right now we're seeing an offense that they're making plays it's goingon to things are going to open up but everyone just needs to settle down right like okay we're good let's get out there let's do what we do what we do let's be disciplined let's make sure we're doing it right let's do it correct and then from there let's move forward One play at a time you know what I'm saying let's trust let's trust our coaches and that right now this is a big trust moment the defense kind of has started to find that a little bit but the offense kind of like one of those trust moments that the coach is calm it helps everybody else out false start you got a false start yeah um yeah that's and that's the thing about uh D'Or is like you watch him on the sideline he he is right he might like you know do do something like this you know but for the most part he's you know he's pretty even ke he'll keep that energy amongst him good and what that does for the offense is it helps them settle quicker right yeah another thing I'll be looking forward to is uh get him get him boom great play yeah good tackle kayin deor and I mean to an extent I haven't done too much research on this particular part of Kan w but Kell deor his halftime adjustments supposedly when he comes out at halftime is just he's one of the best at adjusting at half yeah W too so yeah I haven't had a chance to look too much in WC as far as that goes but I read a whole art well a couple articles on kayin deor and just the adjustments he'll make it halftime like because the amount of information I'm sure that's going to these coaches it's it's a lot I'm sure by the time you get to halftime beautiful beautiful play that that is that right there is amazing coverage a if you watched what Finley who is looking for and who comes downhill to take that real quick Jad Campbell came down quick that was 11 was Jad was that Jad no I'm talking there Zan Brown good job buddy Zan Brown saw where where Finley wanted to go and Finley went to throw it and he W was being rushed and he couldn't couldn't get the ball off man and that was zaven brown saw that and he came down on that guy fast good job all right yeah 100% that is the truth um right it is football that's part of the game um but if you watched on that defense when uh when uh Finley goes to throw the Ball Z xaven Brown was he broke on that as Finley's like his arms go coming back because that was your that was where Finley was going that's where his eyes were at and I'll tell you man Brown he would had that interception number two you watch the way he breaks down and reads that um that was a great great read regardless I mean they got the they made the play but that was cool to see man you see a young guy having that uh having that intuition right and having that using his vision and seeing hey this is that he's that's that's where he's going boom that's cool to see from a young guy standpoint um zavan Brown's definitely going to be that guy you know um he's a freshman he is a freshman he is your stud freshman back so yeah glad to see him without that giant Club on his hand anymore yeah yeah that's for sure that's for sure but you know but yeah no it is uh yeah offense is going to have a little Jitters at the first game you kind of got to get in a flow of things and again like once you kind of get you got to get in the Rhythm too I mean this and I'm going to be honest with you this weather today kind of sucks yeah for you you don't expect this for first game right like dang man kind of sucks so um like but it is what it is it's part of the game and you get out there and you play and you just biggest thing is I want to see is I I really like to see them get this run game going a little bit and then kind of see get uh Jaylen into a rhythm so we'll see what they uh How They Roll on this this next series series all right oh of course Jam Miller off tackle oh is what I want to see that's what I want to see get Candy of these jet sweeps coming across emotions is meant for this run game right so bro oh does he get out and nope that's a touchdown that's a touch touchdown what a Play What a play good job stop man heck yeah dude electric Moon I hear you buddy pam pam says jam oh my bad yep yeah yeah and electric Moon yeah yeah now here you is electric it's cool to see um yeah it's very much though you you line that up and your that movement's meant to um take those guys and almost in a way it's it delays their decision-making process right it delays their action so you saw number 12 this a great example of this right right here if you guys just saw that in the in the after play before the this commercial number 12 was your safety he was moving with the motion well what does that do well now it changes the numbers game on on different sides of the field not necessarily in the box but on a different side of the field so our numbers are are going to win right we're going to win on the opposite side of the field with our numbers but now we've taken away their last line of defense he's going to have to play at a new angle because that safety is watching the motion the whole idea is to take take those guys out of position right so that way when you do have this you do call this um backside off tackle right uh you you look at the hole opens up and boom that guy's gonna have you know Jam has that lane and turns the speed on so yeah well you know La I haven't seen we haven't really seen Justice yet I that's again me one of the things I really I want to see some of these guys get in but I know the biggest thing right now is just getting in offense in Rhythm rotating a bunch of guys isn't isn't real helpful we got to get in Rhythm first and then then see a rotation so that's for sure but man it's um that's refreshing to see that's one of the things I I just brought up is I I want to see the Run game start to get a little bit established so we saw a couple of those yep boom uh um that's uh that's exactly what we want for this offense so starting so me I just gota see more of them because I was I was kind of in that mode with uh when we had Jason mle and and royell Williams you know I mean so a lot of people were like they didn't know who to choose between those two I think you're gonna have something similar but I think I personally think you're going to see a lot more from the running backs this year than you've seen the past couple years between jamill or Justice haes and definitely do not forget about Richard young so like I'm sure you're see him in this game plenty yeah we definitely uh definitely should so yeah no it's um it's interesting because as you you sit there and you watch these guys and you see each style I think it's the another thing that's that stands out to me right now offensively is you look at the offensive line L and you see pieces that are that are that are going well like you see um some areas that are good but then you also see some areas of maybe a little bit of um miscommunication or or not quite understanding what they're seeing from the uh from what different stunts and twists or blitzes packages are being thrown at them and that could be just due to I know they're doing they did a lot of that rotation in Fall Ball um but I think you you go into gameweek prep for the last week and a half two weeks and you know you had Kaden Proctor taking that left tackle snap majority of the time where form being and pritet rotating the right tackle you almost have to ask yourself at this point you know if if the if it keeps collapsing for pritchet let's move him over the right tackle because forb looks like he's doing a great job let's move him over to left tackle and see if he can maintain there and get us a little bit of stability um which you're going to maybe see a little bit of juggling of that uh if if depending on you know Kid's injury hopefully it's not serious for long term so but man exciting to see I tell you that this is uh this is defensively I'll tell you this is what we want to see we want to see them flying around making plays uh not giving up to big plays we want to see him getting pressure on the quarterback that's where this defense thrives we're seeing that and uh it's going to be fun to watch in the series all right TJ keep doing what you're doing bro I like it all right look at that man look at that that's beautiful Play Beautiful play good job good job that Devon Smith good job buddy it's your husky that's exactly what you want him to do play aggressive and play comes to winning well one of those is a national championship so yeah you gota think of it that way he's never lost more than three games in a season yeah like I I believe I'm almost positive he he's never lost more than three games in a season so like is what was he I believe he was 10 and three at Fresno State let me look this up well I mean they had a they had the covid season so but yeah only that the only season that kind of throws off his his winning um yeah so how they bring this okay okay 15 you have Justin Jefferson sitting in the middle right now playing Mike oh man and they plugging in the middle yeah oh you got it MH play call they play great college football at Alabama yes they do umbre that's right oh my gosh I thought that was Oh I thought that was Malachi who do Malik more just close man blackag man let's see what they what they grab us on this uh I know it's the first game in the season but all these mental mistakes well I didn't really see where the flag was thrown for this so yes he never lost more than three games in the season yes the co year he went three and three but that had to stop playing uh so yes he's never had a season where he lost more than three because I told you like I've read a lot about the offense but the defense how they where they're playing at is a little confusing to me CU I'm trying I'm trying to get it down but man there's a lot to like the way the Freshman are playing in the secondary I'm going to be honest with you they are very impressive with the different guys that you are getting Ro rotated yep there's another one jayen B another true freshman made a nice great play on the ball you you're seeing these guys mature very quickly um that's a big shout out from the quarterback standpoint of uh um linguis coach linguis um Mo Maurice I believe lingis yeah yep well coach Mo but uh he's doing a phenomenal phenomenal job obviously with these guys along with the safeties and uh coach Hitler so love that yeah B man I hear you man everything after first quarter look script and though you game yep oh man I thought he was gonna jump on that dang man think he gonna jump that yeah man yeah I think he got himself a little if you see he catches himself for he's a little little high and so he's catching he's coming off of his heel and when you're trying to make that break that's why they they kind of tell you especially when you're playing defensive back is you want to you want to keep keep yourself with that kind of forward either you stay square right when you when the route is decided and then get yourself a little bit of forward momentum so yeah great great job great job Lawson coming in making that tle for L beautiful I'm glad he came back man Lawson has he's been through it bro when it comes to Alabama in his years there like there's a lot of people that had super high expect yeah do it oh no no keep going you're good see here yeah Oklahoma does have a kicker where did he come from that kicker you guys got um he he transferred from somewhere I can't remember where he transferred from but yeah he's got a he's got a hell of a leg D he hadit that 50 yard I believe early in the first half yeah 5 W yeah yeah is great player yeah no man like and you're right chicken like the first game for any team no matter who you are you know some teams are going to have some teams they're going to come out and you're going to see them and and they're going to flow right like you got to give a shout out a little bit and and show Miami like hey you guys came out and played you guys had a you guys flowed really well some other team it kind of takes a minute to click especially when you got some new things in place um so I mean I feel confident in what I'm seeing here defensively especially with what the concerns were for the Youth but yes the tackling needs to get better right it's definitely a thing man yeah but the the youth side of things right like it looks they they they're doing a great job as far as coverage wise and yes few things wrapping up is a big one but when it comes down to it um there's not there's not a ton of things that would sit there defensively and complain you know about what we're seeing defensively I will say offensively you know we want to see more of a rhythm so this is this would be that that point in the game where is when we get the ball back um you know let's say hey let's get a turnover here right takeaway sorry takeaway make sure we all know it's a takeaway let's get a takeway here and let's see uh milro get into a rhythm before we go into the half right we see what we've done a little bit with our Run game feel good there let's see milro getting a little bit of a rhythm right he's had some some great shots um but you you know really having a chance to start putting that ball down field and and seeing how this layered route system works right um and I feel like that would be good for him but I'll tell you man like uh you look over even at Oklahoma uh Friday night like one thing I was really impressed with regardless of kind of some of the struggles that were there offensive line wise one of the things you could say um you know is Jackson Arnold it looks looks very good he he can that dude can throw the ball that that dude can throw the ball on a dime I mean he looked like the the quarterback that he was supposed to supposed to look like coming out of uh High School so um they they were impressive not to mention Oklahoma's defense looked looked very good very good I mean they had four turnovers in the first half I believe it was I mean they looked phenomenal so um so that's that's one of those things though it's funny because we we we do a lot of um comparisons on different shows regarding uh Oklahoma the way they call defense the way WT calls defense Seth Latrell has a very similar uh yeah um has a very similar mindset like him and wck do they're both very aggressive and they both hide things really well um they both they both teach Concepts and then they teach uh offensive recognition as you get into the season so now the concepts were all taught during fall ball right so concept teaching is we run this defense in this defense we run this for these reasons to do this is what happens if you see this you know what I mean this is what happens if you see this and then defeat these things in this situational uh defense and then as it breaks down as we continue to break down the teaching of it you start to understand why how your role plays in that defense by learning the concept and then as you get into the offense or into the season then you start to learn the offensive recognition which is absolutely uh it's huge you know like the offensive recognition is a big deal um yeah you know what I'm saying but uh Jake J Is Not Afraid uh sorry man is not afraid of contact either I agree man it was impressive yeah the way he was run the ball it was impressive for sure and then you know me you know me is mbakwe starting over demman Jackson no uh deanii started but um but mbakwe is definitely uh getting his reps you're seeing a lot of guys uh out there you know me you're seeing uh z z miny zavan Brown uh you're seeing a lot of rotation at the quarterback position we got going on here was the eight yard line more look nope dropping back oh there we go there we go come on baby you got to get the hands out you got to grab them oh he almost had that ball out yeah should have would have could have hey John is the commercial thing up there is that supposed to be doing that yeah it it'll go in and of letting them kind of break out of some of these arm tackles so we gota we got to do a little better job of getting them locked locked down when we claps that pocket but absolutely love the pressure that that flow into the ball yeah oh new quarterback in there guys velt Camp oh yeah Bel Camp is a so um give you guys he he is famous yes he is toastery bow offense MVP 23 famous toastery bowl offensive MVP he was very very good um he did a great job they that TJ Finley and him in competition was something to watch at Western Kentucky this year so all right there I had no idea and my great job Campbell good job yes bro C that dude the speed is there man TJ Finley didn't last 18 of 31 92 yards two interceptions and 16 rush yards he didn't even make it to halftime we's see what they decide to do yeah we'll see what they decide to do uh coming out of half but yeah Vel Camp's a he's a pretty decent quarterback I mean in that bowl game he he put up some numbers if you guys didn't see it um but yeah he he he was uh he was pretty impressive so I knew there was a good good chance we might see him um today depending on how it went you know um but with that being said to rotate your quarterback like this can be really difficult uh we saw Bama do this last year with South Florida right massive quarterback rotation throughout the games um so we'll see how this kind of affects the team for Western Kentucky going forward and if uh velcamp can even get something going for them so oh yeah no I hear you on this chicken like 100% like Bam's falling off no no way they they're all ordering Crow for dinner yeah but I don't think there's a fallof at all I think it's funny because we talk about it a lot with the first games right we you look at the first games of the season for any team that that runs like unless they have like returning uh offensive coordinators or they have returning Co you know coaches and whatnot and they have returning quarterback and a core offensive group most teams run through the begin that first game of the season uh first even half of the Season like there there's some little just not as fluid yet right but you can tell you can see where the pieces are where it it's gonna be you know it's coming you know you know this this fluidity will be there you know what I mean like it's almost there but um they just they just have to continue to kind of they're learning to they're learning to really trust each other they're learning to really trust their coaches and they're learning how to manage their uh stress level right because it's stress when you're out there when you the adrenaline all of that right so they're learning all these things and as they flow through and they get that fluidity and they get that um that camaraderie continues to build uh you will start to see you you'll see them slowly grow grow grow and then you'll see this massive climb and I think that's almost the goal and you kind of see it with with um theor teams over the last few years is they they've done a good job of of going through and you see them continue to Peak Peak Peak Peak Peak right so um it's it's going to be it's going to be fun to watch as these guys really um come into their own and and get a fuel for this offense and where you can really do that is in the games so yeah um you know we're starting to see it a little bit they're starting to see some um some feel at the offensive line right the way they're opening some Hol and uh you know and milro is getting a little more comfortable so you know yeah because he's learning a brand new offense guys it's not like you know he's he's gotta find his rhythm and like you said he's gotta find his way into this offense that's right so yeah this is it's not surprising there's gonna be a little bit of sputtering going on but I'm interested to see how he's going to take on South Florida next week since he didn't get to play that game last year so it's almost like a revenge tour of to South Florida and like okay I said we struggled against them last year now we're about to put the hammer down the hammer so so yeah let's see this this is what I'm talking about like get to the ball get to the ball that's that defense man look I mean look at that one two three four five six seven oh no no okay he was just rolling around I was like what he do yeah he's good maybe he's coming out let's see here I think he might have just he's good he's good popped his hand a little bit he's good velt that's that's a hell of a name bro that sounds like a powerful name like like that dude you don't want to fight somebody with that name they put form at right tackle yeah Pam I think they did um looks like that Formby was at right tackle but did uh let's see if they did any we'll see if they kind of rotate that too that's going to be interesting to watch um depending on how p uh pritchet continues to look at that left tackle spot um going into this uh second half so so Jason's dad strength conditioning coach of Kentucky Western Kentucky wearing an Arkansas hat interesting I tell you one thing West Western there you go buddy they got a leg on them man good job Cole least he's get get up field catch that ball get up field that's what you want to see man you know and this is a difference too that you're seeing between Kell deor and ni sa by the way I'm not saying that Cole Adams isn't the best guy at doing you know the punt returning but uh yeah you don't K and putting half the starters on special teams right so Nick sa believed in playing the best people right so and you don't see it as much as far as special teams goes from what I've seen under Kaylin deor am I wrong or what no I mean I I think he he you know play play the best guys he can but at the same time you know I also think in this sense like you uh yeah I didn't like that that yeah yeah in the same time you um you know you're not you're looking at guys who at Alabama like you get so many so many talented guys I think that's going to be the difference you know Washington you did have to play a lot of guys on special teams there was that that um kind of change but here is a little different little different you have some options you got some depth here bre and six they brought good job beautiful oh that's what I'm talking my God OHS God it's not even Williams he's real look guys wow oh man yeah impressive man with that being said tell me how much this is going to help recruiting seeing this much rotation this many get on the field they have to be paying attention to that like if I go to Alabama that does not mean I'm sitting on the bench for two to three years and I will not see playing time right Ryan Williams is after this week you're probably gonna see him more and more right so obviously throughout the season which was expected and then same thing with this line same thing with the defense like like you said meny and these guys they're getting on the field they're giv chances right so 100% man 100% And so here's the thing thing like you ask you ask a great question um John is it comes down to it what how does this affect recruiting like seeing this rotation seeing these guys get out here seeing these guys make plays right like just like what jel Ryan just do you know it what it does uh it it really creates this excitement and saying hey wait a minute I don't have to sit there and wait my turn anymore I don't have to sit there I can you know if I go out there and I work card and I compete and I show my my ability right um to to be a asset to the team I'm gonna get my my shot you know I mean I'm gonna get my shot and you're seeing in the defense heavily on the defense if you're a defensive player being recruited right now especially in especially in the secondary but honestly anywhere you Alabama is like the spot you want to go to man Alabama is a spot you want to go because you are just seeing that massive rotation I mean you are seeing some of that at Oklahoma too I'll give them that but Alabama like today I the number of guys we're seeing rotate in and out if you're a recruit and you're seeing this stuff you're going man maybe I need to reconsider some of the things that I thought I wasn't going to get time but actually I am going to get time right and then the next part of that is if you're on the offensive side of the ball you're saying dang man this offense is super explosive like these they they move that ball downfield you know and they're giving guys shots like I can get my shot so I think uh I think this does impact recruiting heavily I think they see it uh they see the excitement and again as you continue to see this this thing develop and flow then um guys are going to get more and more excited you're going to see some heavy uh impact on recruiting so wow yeah man he's let's see here I know there was a list out there of all the SEC LT Overton man he's a that dude is a yeah I like it chicken goal is every team to have continuity cohesion comment um camaraderie commentary that NDSU has yeah they play as a complete team just fortunately has not the power for talent otherwise they power yeah no I agree with you man and indu is that FS FCS School of Champions you know what I mean like they're great so they won nine so I mean if they're level nine National was it nine national championships I believe let's see here man I know there was a list of recruits that were going to be attending this game and now I can't find it because there's a long L there's a lot of Alabama recruits at this West Kentucky game yeah no there I'll take a I'll take a I'll take a peek for you guys and see what I can find listwise here it was on 247 I just can't find it now I believe it was it may have been on three got you I love how it's uh 42 to zero at halftime that that's something it's funny because when you're watching we're sitting here and we're watching Alabama so hard right we're watching every at least on my end I'm watching every little piece and I'm and then I look up and I'm like wait a minute you know I see some things I like I see some things I don't like and I go what what am I talking the score is 42 to zero to zero yeah they're beating these guys' ass like you could easily walk out of here with an 80o game you know what I mean like like come on man like what wait a minute people are sitting out there sitting in the stands obviously it's exciting to see these guys making plays it's a little different when you're in the stands instead of watching the game you know I watch it from like a player's perspective I watch it from a coach's perspective I watch it from things that I want to see um that I want to see like to to to continue to move forward in the right direction um but from a from the standpoint of like if you're in if you're into the the stands you you are caught up in the emotion of the game right you can feel the emotion of the game uh through the energy within the stadium and honestly you know you with a bunch of people that you uh love hanging out with that's part of why we're trying to do uh some watch parties to do this for everybody's because you know we can hopefully give you guys something that you enjoy and we get to watch it and comment and talk back and forth for those who uh are in there I know we got um some numbers watching the end of the second quarter especially with some of the big plays you're making you always get concerned when you see a big play are you going to have a penalty no penalties there that I I I start you're starting to see them settle down right that's what we that's what we've been waiting for we need to settle down hopefully uh we see some fun exciting adjustments in the second half we get to see some guys get out there and make some plays don't be surprised if we continue on this path that you start to see a little bit of Tai Simpson jump in I think people are going to be excited to see how Tai does in this offense so um I am I'm excited to see where it continues to roll you know Richard young what yeah Richard young and then with chicken man like yeah I I am too you losing Downs I mean that's a great I'm chicken I'm glad you bring this up Caleb DS is gone right he he leaves but yet you you do not you almost feel like the defensive secondary right now hasn't really skipped a Bowman was Bowman is a right so Monster uh I loved what I saw from Oklahoma's defense dude I li too they look great they look phenomen they look they look fast too the only thing I said early on was just man like Jackson Arnold's getting hit a lot you know what I mean so that was my only worry was that offensive line and I think that was almost every Oklahoma's probably biggest question mark was coming in was how's that offensive line going to look like so I you're gonna have to get more experience you got help coming in the coming on the way with Michael pusi and those guys so and yeah yeah I'm with you on this wal Albright says me the Rhythm off the offense definitely seems to be like you're scoring so quick you know I mean when you do score that it's almost it's it's impossible for you to create that look of a rhythm is that' be a good way to put it Jake or No like is it hard to get in Rhythm when you're not on the field that long or or no um yeah I mean a little bit like when especially when it's just big play after big play after big play granted you know it's not like you're gonna necessarily fall out of rhythm you know or because you right now you've just gone into a position of just consistently hitting big plays um and that's exciting and it gets the team kind of going one of the things that I think it does help is like when Miller is making these throws these mid-range to deep throws you're starting to say okay he's he's getting a little more comfortable he's feeling good I think from that standpoint now it's like all right let's see him let's see him do some of these uh these short yard throws you know he kind of overthrew a little bit there with um with Jam you know some of those little things that are just just just you want to tweak and just continue to help him build right so um that's that's probably the the biggest thing with uh with Excuse me with milro but it looks good so yeah I mean he's he's gonna he's gonna be there um yeah I I was going to sit here man and I was going to also say that I saw another one that Moon you said this man the linebackers are definitely a strength I I agree with you and and you know I I don't know if Jeremiah Alexander is good for today um I wasn't sure if he was hurt for today um thought I saw him out there jerem no Jeremiah Alexander no no no Jeremiah Alexander's not playing today sorry jah's not playing today yeah so one of the things that I did I did see Justin urano so number 41 that's another freshman linebacker it's cool to see um again that we have such great depth you know what I mean like it's it's it's great to watch um and I I'll tell you I'm just excited to see what they continue to do these young guys continue to build you know and yeah hey how you doing Miss gar yes uh I'd like to see long sustainable Drive you're right you're right I want to see I mean we all love we all love the big play you know what I mean uh we all love the big play but at the same time when we this this is playing a team that we we should be right we should we should we should whoop them so it's great and all but at the same time me for the first game cool like we get excited it builds the confidence builder for sure there there's that mental aspect that's for real but I also want to get into the technical things of the game and I wonder if we'll start to see that a little bit here in skill I mean I'm gonna be honest like for a minute there I had to see it with Ryan you know I I knew from high school standpoint he was amazing but I wanted to see it right I want to see it in a game I want to be like okay at the college level and to think that guy uh to to think that guy could be um that that good he could still be in high school this could you know he could be going into his senior year I know man that's what I was thinking chicken fourth in an inch I'd almost go for it man I'd almost go for it so oh I think Tai's down here man my bad my bad yeah just I just my bad I didn't see it down there hang on let me boom t you hear us yeah I can hear you all right nice nice what's your take so far Ty there's a lot to like there's a lot that needs to be fixed but I mean at defense is on people man they're on the I am impressed with the coverage I am impressed with the coverage for everybody who was really scared of vision coverage man this is how you play it correctly you know it definitely seems like the players are just they're having the ability to play faster than what they were and I know Ty you spoke on this before so about how like matching versus you know vision and stuff like that yeah yeah I will say um the one thing I feel very good about Jake about a week a week and a half ago gotta make that tackle manam gotta make D I know that well the sack too oh God but about a week and a half ago I gave you and coach Sean in our little group chat I gave you my take on Ryan Williams and I said he reminded me of two prospects that Alabama has had who did I tell you he reminded me of oh my goodness it was you said Ryden Williams yep I said he reminds me of two former Alabama wide receivers combined into one can I can I guess one of go for it yep uh Amari Cooper had to be one of the best route Runners pure route Runners we had coming in so I would I would include Amari Cooper into that that's a great one it wasn't the two I said was Devonte Smith in terms of understanding how to get separation at the line of scrimmage the intermediate portion and deep in terms of how to play a defensive back and the second was J Mo in terms of P explosive oh yeah and I feel pretty darn good about that call because he is insane insane good play Man Jihad Campbell guys is playing an insane game of football right now dude everywhere he I mean did you notice two Tai did you see where they're playing him down on the line at Bandit and bringing him off the edge in a speed speed package you know he came to Alabama as a festar edge which is what dude they so they throw Justin Jefferson right over at the sting because Jefferson's faster than everybody else which is that position has to be fast and on top of that man you see yeah you 100% Blake you saw that too you saw Q rousa out there but then you got Q Rob on one end and then on the other side man you tell you what you you bring down Jihad Campbell to rush off the Bandit you have this speed rush package I think they've recovered very well I think pritchet has settled in pretty well um rough start but he's he's settled in yeah I think it's interesting you got like the two guys whether with with pritet on one side and for me on the other and because you know we've seen we've seen pritchet kind of have few errors here and there granted they they were that it's causing a lot of issues on the outside forb for the most part has has done well I mean maybe he missed one or two over on the uh just on this last series you know but but dang man I'll tell you if we can just get these guys and this is at first game but if we can get these guys like shorted up and just a little more confident a little more recognizing some of these uh these packages and and and trusting you know in communicating that I Temple it's Temple but the U defense looked really good right in terms of definitely look evolved deeper but the reason I even bring up Oklahoma up is I think he's a guy that BR venables if you if you're a scheme guy right like Jake is a scheme guy Jon's a scheme guy I am learning schemes so I'm like super into the X's and O's Brent would love to have him as a cheetah right that hybrid linebacker defensive back position especially because they play that that little bit of a modified 335 with that cheetah usually down in the Box um I mean Justin Jefferson is just incredible at that so yeah yeah well dude that's the thing man that's that that's that Stinger position for us I mean granted a little different little different like there's there's different aspects right of that um as far as why it's stinger and what it does but I'll tell you man is is you look at there there's some really good comparisons and what's what what I think excites me about Alabama's defense in comparison to or like um Oklahoma's defense Alabama's defense is young but they yet you can see them out here making plays this Western Kentucky team is supposed to be very good too they're supposed to be good so right now they're making them look uh semi okay I mean they have a good defensive coordinator too guys and TI oh they do like they do this is not some just scrub you know what I mean FCS team that we playing no like they have the number one scoring defense in the nation two years in a row not not you know in the nation not their conference uh I believe they had number one I can't was it number seventh ranked defense last season so I mean and they play a multiple defense mixed between three 34 and 4-3 and all that so I did a little bit of reading on that so yeah I see uh if I'm being overly critical the one thing I want to see from the defense is on that 21pl drive they were eating on the out routes I mean living on the out routes that's something that's got to be cleaned up I get it I get it young defensive backs that that's probably an experience of Youth news scheme but I also y'all know me I'm always gonna give the good but I I have a tendency John J get to record with me a lot during the season but John knows I can be a little bit overly critical when we get to uh when we get to season and if I may answer anon's click on whatever you want click on do you have that I brought up was like Hey this last scrimmage for for fall ball for fall Camp one of the things that stood out was that the secondary played together and really man really really trusted each other right they trusted each other that needed to happen they needed to have that trust so they could finally play the way and the style they need to play now yeah there's still things that need to um continue to progress and get better Ty you had brought up the out routes right part of that is is is youth we saw at one point we saw zaban Brown playing um he was playing field Corner we saw Z miny playing the boundary Corner okay and what's interesting about that is you have two guys there who now need to also learn part of this vision coverage is playing with your peripheral vision right reading making sure your eyes are on the cube be but also seeing what's around you you know what I mean so um that's that's those out routes can really tease your peripheral vision because that's an easy thing to let it goes out of sight very quickly so you got to really be disciplined and understanding that as soon as you see that disappear out of sight especially at the angle that you probably need to say okay if I depending on my drop I need to float a little bit this way again though you are you are reading the QBs um obviously eyes shoulder elbow and then movement to know where and when to break but um but it's it's man it's fun to watch it's fun to watch so I'm just glad we're watching football it's the little things in life man football you know I mean it just makes everything so much better yeah makes food taste better yeah that's a true fact sh look at all the food commercials right now um and then I see Chris milrose struggling I I don't know if he's necessarily like struggling I would say there's there's definitely some areas where where where would we say he was struggling I think in his like short intermed short short um field passes I think he had a little bit the ball was maybe just off here and there but I think really what it came down to is I don't think it's struggling I think number one we we definitely need to shore up the tackles like our tackles need to they they because the pocket's collapsing from the outside and that's pushing milro either through the pocket or he's having to do a little dance to get outside of the pocket um due to what's going on so I think for him though the big thing is is just them getting him into a rhythm like kind of they tried to do it a little bit the beginning of the game but then you know we had some issues um with uh with with pritchet you know so it's it's but yeah we got Ty Simpson in everybody let's go let's see what happens yep just like that come on pritet dude you are you are getting beat yeah I'm a little bit behind Eric you haven't seen much from Damani Jackson because they won't work they won't even look his way um I've seen three or four times him Jam a wide receiver into the next Dimension you have an offensive line that's shuffled around um the the pass that was a little high to jam Miller The Edge jumped up and milro had to try and get it up over the edge the first pass to Kendrick law I mean that was a hair off just a hair off he put a lot of juice on it um would have loved to have seen that one completed no doubt about it if you want if you really want to nitpick Chris that that the penalties that's got to get cleaned up um the only if I'm really trying to be positive about it Chris what I can say is whenever you go from what they were running before an offensive line scheme to pin and pull you're probably going to experience more FSE starts Holdings just because of the difference and getting guys out in space they're not as used to doing it but you're 100% right listen there's there's no excuse about that that that's got to be cleaned up the penalties that's got to be cleaned up dude Jaylen milro is seven for nine 200 yards three TDS in the air two TDS on the athletic yeah definitely more athletic but I think the way he's poised the way he kind of carries himself for sure the way he reads is AJ mcinish it yeah that's that's I get that feel when I watch him yeah definitely more athletic for sure I mean you can see it right here this is what this oh like plays like it throws like that can't you got to just just man just be just just calm calm down staff this staff is gonna be so good for him John heard steel um about Ty Simpson the high school he came from yeah Jake you might as well go ahead and tie both arms and one leg behind your back and go out there and block for him really um The Blocking at his high school was atrocious and it was one of those things where if he didn't do and I do mean everything they didn't win like there were times you'd see him do 720s in the pocket and then throw a strike because he had to yeah well for him like you said it's about learning to let the play happen as opposed to trying to go make the play every single time right st's gonna be great for him great for him I think I you know it's funny to bring that up because I think the whole in in all you would have you would have thought maybe we would have lost a quarterback within the portal right when Austin Matt came besides obviously well Eli well yeah well yeah and yeah I saw that Eli actually played a pretty decent game but then um also we lost from The Freshman standpoint um we'll see if he gets playing time over at Ohio State forgive me I when they leave I kind of just ride it h yeah I'm just kind of like peace later great great player great player we'll see what what he uh turns out to be and and honestly we'll see what happens at Ohio State to be honest but oh boys 41 is in the game whoa yeah baby Justin a Rocco we're not even in the fourth quarter yet yeah you're seeing this I love what this is going to do for recruiting man this is from a recruiting standpoint yeah know I hear you man it's uh you know it's it's interesting because I think when you look at that quarterback room though and why these guys don't leave it's because you do have a guy like Nick Sheridan who can communicate what dbor sees and wants but at the same time you have guys like um I mean shoot you have guys like uh you know um Ellis the the tight ends coach and Brian Ellis who sits there who has this he also has this skill set that he can he can add in and say but then you also have um and I can't believe I'm I'm forgetting his name right now but um but Nick Sheridan's assistant and that's Mitch um gosh dang I cannot believe I'm forgetting right now of his name but he he was at Washington um where he was working under grub but now he's over here working under sherid and the Bor and he's kind of traveled with them from Fresno State to Washington to here the guy's that the guy's like he's a future offensive Court I mean the guy's going to be good he's going to be phenomenal and forgive me I just cannot uh cannot remember his name right off the top of my head right now but um but man he's he's a great assistant to be in those ears and you really can give those quarterbacks you know that time that they need to uh to learn but at the same time teach them that patience teach them those those little nuances to say hey you don't got to necessarily Rush this right like that last play where we see Tai throw it away instead you can say hey the pocket's collapsing but if you can see you don't have to necessarily get too worried too fast because if you see if you continue up into the pocket instead of outside you won't be running for your life you'll you'll you'll your blocker will then pick up because of you moving forward and him moving backward right like he'll pick up that guy rushing off the edge so just getting those feel getting those little nuances in and you feel better about it and I think that's one of the big uh man that's one of the big ones that I think can really help him milro and everybody so you know and don't forget Jamarcus Shepard was the co- offense coordinator at Washington with Ryan grubs right so even our wide receivers coach has that input and that influence on the offense directly with the as well yeah he's a he's our passing game coordinator and so that's I mean which which this is awesome that he gets to do that even now with Sheridan right because you get that kind of that everybody's there it's there's no egos right the egos are gone so now you're working as a team to figure out how to um put everybody in the right place to make the right play yeah it's wild because I know most people think Nick sharan's calling the plays but you know what I mean like it's so different because I I read a couple articles where kayin debor talked about how he brought along Nick Sheridan I'm talking about at Washington right and Jamarcus Shephard and how this plan kind of fell in place where Jamarcus already learned to co-office coordinator role right when he was at Washington so it was important for him to bring Nick Sheridan on as the offens coordinator and teach him the ropes as well so no and you're right and all that works for exactly what you said man you cannot have an ego in work in a system like this right that he built yep but I mean that's the truth and it's interesting because like Sheridan had called this offense at Indiana so he had previously already called this right so he he kind of has a feel for everything as it is already but I think then you look at him going to Washington because he was the scapegoat at Indiana when pennx got hurt yeah um and then they fired Sheridan because they said oh you're you know well penx was your dude man um and he got hurt so Sheridan they fire Sheran well the board brings him with him to Washington coaches tight ends there right he gets to see the system um under dor and it's it's prettying amazing to watch him progress and now he's in that that position to um call this offense with obviously Miami Central in Miami for his senior year coming out of Canada and a lot of people said they were a little behind on him as well so yeah that's it's a really good point yeah yeah I mean that's that's the truth and la I love I love this man for the first game we are light years ahead of where I thought we would be especially defensively I think everybody right now is in like whoa whoa you know you know who you know who's uh who's not doing that right now everybody else in the SEC thinking this is going to be a downturn yeah well you know they're thinking like are we really gonna have to put up know does Dylan have that same that same does he bring what what Bo brought as far as leadership as far as getting the team on his back and kind of taking him in a direction right he definitely doesn't have the athleticism Bo had bo bo had that that that sneaky athleticism which I could not stand as an Alabama fan you know what I mean I I was always giving bck a hard time since he came to Auburn as a freshman and I had to hear it when he went to Oregon and did really well but and uh Texas ANM Notre Dame a defensive fight right now by the way yeah at Kyle Field which is not an easy place to win as I was there when we lost when we were number one a couple years ago oh man got it settle down settle down Old Miss guys Old Miss is up 73 to zero in the third quarter well everybody sweeps we see we we see movement and creativity in this offense which it seemed to lack under Tommy Reese not just Tommy Reese Bill O'Brien Bill o gave him gave the play like I I always feel like Bill O'Brien half like lazily called the play into Bryce and was like I don't know man like we'll we'll do this I guess and what whatever and then Bry was out there like figuring everything out to try and stay alive yep I agree Trojan fight says not every Plug and Play QB neporal is going to pan out no and you're absolutely correct we we've seen it through the years where it doesn't work out DJ you you know what I mean he goes to Oregon looks pretty good right so they feel confident him coming into Florida State and look the same thing's been preached about him that you could preach about multitude of others that we talked about earlier past 15 yards you're you're gonna see some inconsistency from these guys there's but if I may if I may for Dylan Gabriel gentlemen he's 32 of 37 for 303 yards soome they only have 67 rushing yards on 25 attempts that's the issue Gabriel I I I don't know how you have 300 yards on 37 points that's impressive well what's his average yards per play like what's his average per throw is it like five or six2 I mean great but it's not bad yeah to your point and what I would say John is I the because you're 100% right about dju but my thing with norvell's offense is that addition never made sense to me because Mike norvell's offense always to me and I said this to Jake in February it feels to me like you passed the controller as you were playing Madden to your little brother and the only thing he's doing is running ghes yeah no you're absolutely right it it it just feels weird um yeah they have issues we definitely are seeing uh we got Nel veteran and we're definitely seeing some of our second and third string guys in get some rotation how do you say his name aen in uh elen H how do you say the last name elen I believe there we go I struggle yeah I struggle with some of these names beautiful Play Beautiful Play Good route him with the catch what's the flag gonna be though I know holding you guys are like at least yeah about 15 seconds not too long ago speaking to the Bear's head coach about uh about pressure and how it can be a player's like most detrimental thing is the pressure and I think that it wasn't even Nick Sabin creating the pressure but Bama under Nick sain had gotten to a point where there was so much pressure on these players that it just was like I don't know I I just feel like with kayin dbor there it's almost like lifted that pressure and now they're having fun and I don't think that's a Sabin problem but I think it's a product of playing for the greatest coach certainly of our lifetime um I believe the greatest college coach ever I just think that it was like the expectations became too much I literally just made a video a couple days ago uh it says Nick Sabin standards and it was about my unbiased opinion of the University of Alabama needing Nick Sabin to retire because of the opportunity presented with kayin dbor and uh same thing and I and I quoted a couple people players too talking about how same thing how it became people were walking on X shells and it became a pressure cooker not because sa's yelling and throwing a fit but because like you said when the expectations are so high for so long something has to give eventually like it's it's literally a pressure cooker and there's no way to relieve it yeah expectations are so high you're in and you're out I'm goingon to be honest guys I don't think that that's targeting or um roughing the passer I I you know I'm Gonna Keep it a 100 I I think that's a DB making a good play on a quarterback attempting to make a throw I don't blame Ty Simpson for throwing an interception hell of a play by the defensive back but I don't think that's targeting or roughing the passer that's just football I don't think so either I will tell you this though pritchet is going to have the worst grade after this game it's not even funny yeah he's been beat all night dude that all night no he he is getting his ass smoked all night this is that's like the the eighth one i' I'm literally keeping track yeah absolute dude he's like not moving his feet he's reaching when he's blocking I'm going like dude you are about to have the worst was this like spread attack um with you know for such a long time they've put up some really good numbers offensively they've they've been able to score on their opponents um they they've done some really good things so for them to come in here and get I mean just completely demolished right like de I mean demolished I think they've only made it into the Red Zone twice you know and that was due to the fact of field position I mean they they it's four and out four and out four and out turnover turnover four and out four and out four and out and so you got to say man I am very excited and pleased with um with everything I have uh I've seen defensively um with the things I've seen offensively there's a lot to clean up of course but the to say man you put up this many points and shut A team out dang how long before we get theor statue all got to do is win a naty right this year maybe yeah that's what I'm that's what I'm feeling possibility I'm nothing thing man When Ty gets back I'll bring it up get his thoughts on the possible transfer portal changes coming up that's going to change everything when it comes to transfer portal and recruiting um I don't know if you've had a chance to look into that or not but uh the NCAA has is proposing and um they're GNA that's actually very soon it could be implemented by this October that you only have one portal window that will only be during the winter time for 30 days and get rid of the spring window altogether yeah I love that that that's G to change a lot because when you transfer in in December and you don't win that job or you're a starter that loses that job you're there for right you're there for that season you're not going nowhere not going so yeah it's it's going to change a lot and it's gonna it's going to definitely make you more accountable I think and I think that's why they're doing it it's gonna make you that's right I think they're just trying to create more uh continuity with the roster management for people like Courtney Morgan the GMS of the world right so they can kind of depend on and know where they're at when it comes to their rosters so well I also think you know you put that you put a decision to go anywhere you want into kids' young kids young adults hands they're not always going to make the right decision sometimes it's an emotional decision sometimes they don't feel like they're being treated fairly when really you just need to toughen up and work harder right like you just need to learn that in life you just don't get every single opportunity that comes around and if it doesn't work out then you have to go you can just bounce someone else and get another opportunity to be a superstar it doesn't work that way in life half these kids are not going to play in the NFL more than half of them shoot only like I think it's only like 1% goes to the NFL so these guys are all going to go into real world have regular jobs be normal people every day have just like what we all do the truth is and it comes down to it you need to learn how to face a little bit of diversity and work your tail off to earn what to earn what you get y and I think that cutting down that transfer rule it helps it helps kind of uh add us back a little bit of grit Right add us back a little bit of toughness and saying you know what suck it up embrace it and go be the best you can where you're at quit trying to to make excuses and don't get me wrong there are some situations that it it does work better for for the kids right but for the most part you know like you can transfer once okay I get transferring one time but having unlimited transfers yeah right like like look at TJ Finley he's on school four what what has it done for you though when when have you found continuity right when have you found uh you've had to face some like adversity of just earning your way in you like you just go place to place trying to find somewhere to get you to the NFL that doesn't work like that so y you know you lose those m Jones of the world right so M Jones sat and waited his time and they said he was the best practice player for three years right so and you think about that he and he talked about when he went to the NFL he's like that's why I'm in the NFL that's literally what he said like that's what got him there at 100% he's like is you're practicing against the best defense every it feels like every year in and out in practice and when it is your turn you should be ready that's why Ty Simpson's goingon to light it up when he gets his turn I agree 100% dude 100% I mean look at the coaches smiling and laughing and have like it's so much different I mean look at D look at Daniel Hill man look at how I'm impressed with how explosive he is when he touches that ball you know what I mean go hitting the hole like he is hitting that hole hard yep yep his short area quickness looks good his Pad level's really good you know what I mean his knee dry knee Drive is really good love we just talk about that that sounds very familiar to that's aan deer that short are of birth is insane I mean Ackland Deere is on a whole another level it's going to be fun to see him in this offense um but yeah look at this I mean he's powerful too he's powerful so um I see Blake has a question here it's an interesting question you know um what do you guys think I think georg's really good I think their defense is monstrous and the thing I think people don't realize is Georgia is not even healthy right now right so two defense defensive tackles didn't play they're you know half their running backs didn't play they're injured um I think this offense is very consistent right so they know they're not going to make a ton of explosive plays right now but scoring on that team is going to be no small feet you're going to have to you're going to have to work for every yard against Georgia it's a typical Kirby Smart defense we've got to account for Nate Frasier out the back field yeah one of the things Western Kentucky had some early success with is the linebacker still kind of feeling out this vision coverage dropped a little deep and Finley would hit the underneath guy that's gonna be Nate Fraser let me tell you something kid ran a 105 800 meter dash you don't want to let him get the ball in uh open space because he will go look at look at Dylan lren man looking good I think that I think Blake can Alabama beat Georgia yes right because Bama is going to get a and let's be let's be honest here well also don't forget about Rod um Rod Robinson like kids like 240 pounds I think he's going to be a beast he's hurt next weekend's going to be no easy Tas ask um USF the type of offense they play and they are beating up on Beth Yun right now yeah and their running backs are really doing a lot of work there so I think us I but I've continuously said this guys USF is uh is a game I'm so excited about and not Branson it's Rod did I I like I like Rod a bit better than I like Branson like about Branson uh Robinson Branson Robinson is that his name yeah there's Branson Robinson and then there's rod rod okay I I got you and Rod I think is he he's the one who had toe surgery um so he he might not even be ready by the Alabama game to be very honest with you but I'll say this we need to figure out what's going on with Kaden Proctor because we're gonna need him in that Georgia game yeah that Gon Work hopefully it was just like a A arrain or some sort something you know what I'm saying because they're saying hey man we're you don't need to play this game right like let's just make sure you're healthy you know what I mean like those are always especially the way he's holding his arm so you know you know what else is nice to see in my opinion is that look nothing against Nick Sabin but these are the times where we run the ball 20 times in a row and they're still playing football yeah they're they're not just playing these freshman or somebody that's deep on the depth chart just just to play him to run the ball right they're actually getting to play the offense yeah so and the defense as well so yeah this is what this is what you love about watching Kayla and aor though and this offense is that when they do get into these positions what they're doing is they're Shoring up they're establishing their their competitive depth I I love that word um or that saying because in the end you know it's it's evolution of the tide right like we are watching it we are watching it evolve we are watching it build we are watching the things that work so that way when we do get into positions where we need that help or we need to dig into our depth chart these guys have familiarity within the offense they have familiarity of of the game uh and understanding their role and how they can impact it and man I I love that I love that way it's not just getting into your twos but now you're getting your threes maybe even your fours right like you getting guys out there and guys are are getting a chance to um work through that thought process and learn how to uh process things quick quicker to be you know continue to to grow as players yeah no I I agree 100% man it's yeah yeah there's just there's a lot to take away from this game right so I mean there's a lot to talk about and by the way guys Fresno was giving Michigan all they can handle cleaning some stuff up granted it is game one there's some things I think my my biggest my only my top concern out of this game if I walk away is saying pritet you you need to get get in you need to get in line bro you need to get in line everybody else is pulling their weight and you for some reason are getting your ass smoked off the edge every few plays so what what's going on here like man you need to step up granted I get it left tackle you haven't played it but tackle is tackle right like let's get out there let's let's do your job okay so um even when he's that right tackle he's getting smoked so we there's something that they definitely to uh H like I said his his postgame meet the meetings tomorrow or Monday uh depending on how they do this this week because of Labor Day uh p is gonna have a h rough meeting I know what those are like I've I've had one of those meetings myself so um those are not fun to grade out like that so yeah give you guys some score updates Old Miss is up on Ferman 76 to Zer Notre Dame is up on amm 133 to6 Michigan is on top of Fresno State 10 was it 10 to6 uh 16 to1 sorry and then Oregon's beating Idaho 17 to7 it's a little underwhelming to say the least yeah and blame more let's go fresy and the thing about it is too about Georgia we don't know how much of Georgia we saw today yeah right so that's that's another thing to think about the good good news here's here's where I'm at with that Georgia game though you know Georgia's going to come out they're going to they're going to be Georgia we we we saw some things they did really well we saw areas where they also need to clean up right but um one thing about Georgia is I will feel way better once we have four games to get us we have sorry we have two more games after this you know um yeah two more games after this to get us kind of locked in and and and feeling the flow that's that's what I love about about this and why I'm excited because we we see the success but we also see all the areas right that yep that we can we can grow um and we can continue to go go up right we're not GNA I don't see us flatlining so I would feel really good game four uh facing Georgia especially after a bye right we both have by weeks it's gonna it's gonna feel good so yeah it's yeah no there's no doubt about it I would feel a lot different if Georgia was that first game on the schedule where Western ky's at I'd be a lot more definitely a lot more worried but yeah maybe to an extent I guess well especially without Proctor well that yeah that would that would probably be the part where we'd be in a definitely be in a fight for sure this wouldn't be like this but yeah I mean that their their defense looked great too so um granted I I wasn't quite sure what they were doing Clemson was doing with um some of their play calling you know what they were trying to establish there was a little confusion there for me but that's just my my take on it I you know every they have their game plan that they want to work through their progression through the game what they think they can attack him with A and C and D plans you know so we'll see but um but yeah so State bringing the wood again when it's not Michigan and Ohio State they tend to bring the wood they smack around W Virginia Ben State definitely played up to uh up to their the expectations so that's for sure um oh man I'm just glad we got this first game out of the way put up 6 points and uh we got to see what this was going to look like so I think that was pretty important now I'm assuming this is the length of the drives guys uh correct me if I'm wrong but so going through every single TD here here's how long these drives lasted the first TD 41 seconds second one a minute 31 the third one a minute 19 the fourth one a minute 04 the fifth one 33 seconds the sixth one 15 seconds uh then 410 247 and 358 so the moment milro went out of the game pretty much outside of that last drive when uh yeah so yeah the nine playay 61 yard Drive which took four minutes before that you saw nothing longer than a minute and a half yeah you're talking about explosive yeah wow man unbelievable unbelievable like looking good and another thing I wanted to check on here was I wanted to see let's see yeah Michigan scored by the way J 2310 looks like they're GNA to handle Fresno State but that's not yeah and Idaho just scored so Oregon's up on Idaho 17 to 14 in the fourth with 945 left wow could you guys imagine if that happens you know Oregon was one of the people a lot of people picked him to win the Big 10 including myself I said they had a chance to win the Big 10 uh they are yeah I don't let me see what's going on here let me go into the the box score to see if there's anything kind of staring me in the face Dylan Gabriel's put on a hell of a show let's see here man what is going on here let me go to team stats maybe something glaringly no dude they're seven of 13 on third down while Idaho's One n 45 yards Idaho's 223 I I don't understand what's going on here and then there's only they got one turnover a piece Oregon controls the what is Oregon doing they're driving the field and just not putting points yeah I don't I don't know if ID is just stepping up and and showing you know what they're about right you know I think that's what's impressive if you have a if you have a defense like that man that um you know you can step up and make those plays that's that's that's phenomenal um I will say this is you know Alabama looks like they're potentially about to score again I would love to see them put up 70 to zero come on buddy that means we would have surpassed Nick sav's highest scoring right because the most he scored I believe was 66 at Alabama well I think that's what they're we'll see what they do they're making a decision right now because you know that's be a talking point right oh they're doing it bro they're doing yeah they there this is going to be a talking point this is going to be this right here is going to piss off a lot of people that's not Alabama fans oh beautiful job beautiful job wow good job buddy Kevin Riley man putting the hand in the ground getting that
