welcome back welcome back to M Bye by having a blessed day so this is a video I kind of want to do um kind of thought about it for a while Beetle Juice Beetle Juice is coming out this weekend you know BJ 2 and I want to sit down and think of my favorite timber movies you know I was born in the late 80s I grew up in the 90s man so I remember when Tim Burton when I was young man Tim Burton had a lot of hits man he had a whole lot of hits and he was different he was different from your Martin scors Stacy he was different from your Steven Spielberg you know he was different from a lot of big directors at that time man because he had his own style so when you saw trailer for his movie you knew oh that's him you know he just had that style that trailblaze you know the whole Hot Topic crowd and everything like that later on but yeah man he has a lot of hits he has some misses I ain't GNA sit here and lie like yo it's perfect I don't think nobody's perfect but he has some misses and there's definitely some honorable mentions I'm throw in here as well starting out man for me number 10 I'm going with the course BR I don't know if anybody's yeah oh yeah spoilers spoilers if you haven't seen any of the movies again this is my list you know if you have your own list please leave in the comments sections yeah definitely you haven't seen any of these movies go check them out man but for me number 10 I'm starting out with the courts brde you know that star is Johnny de um H in the bom card and it's a stop motion stop motion puppeter kind of like um with the Nightmare Before Christmas very good movie pretty much falls into the Victorian era and you see uh Victor you know who's about to get married but at the same time he's nervous so you see him out here uh you know what's practicing his vows and everything like that and as he's practicing vow he takes the ring and places it where he seems to be what he seems to think is a twig you know in the woods turns out to be a whole dead body bro but anyway you know who who she was meant to be a bride you know what I mean she was always she wanted to get married and everything like that so she falls in love with Victor and he starts to get feelings for her which is you know it's kind of strange but still you know still good man another thing that stands out in this is Danny Elfman score you know Danny Elfman W of Steven I me Steven SP one of Tim Burton's like big contributors and like Partners over the years you know all his almost all almost all his films not but a lot of majority of films Danny Elfman worked on the score and the music in here is very good it's colorful and like I said it has like that Nightmare Before Christmas feel and Beetle Juice feel to it of course BR number 10 I really did enjoy that number nine man big fish if you haven't seen big fish please go check that out big fish star youan McGregor uh Billy croop is in there has a really nice cast Danny DeVito's in there man one thing about Big Fish I really did enjoy it's a very emotional movie it's emotional movie because you see a father in the sun trying to rekindle you know a relationship and um it's sad because you know he's his father's retelling his life story to his son and everything like that and as he's going through it you know you hear his son I mean you see the flashbacks and flashbacks are very Whimsical it's kind of out there he's like wait none of this really makes sense you know until the end when everything pieces together man that end scene and big fish is one of the best one of the best things I ever seen in the movie like it's so emotional it's a great man like I teared up seeing it when I first saw it like to me man and it doesn't feel like a Tim bur movie at first you know cuzz his movies have a style too so at first I'm like this is doesn't feel like to you know pause but you know as it goes on it's excellent movie Man Big Fish uh yes man number eight this might shock a lot of people but I got Ed Wood Ed Wood is a very good movie staring giant Depp you know is uh portraying the you know the director back in the day Ed Wood you know who kind of re uh kendle Bell Go's you know um career and everything like that Edwood is a very good movie and one thing about Edwood man it falls under I want to say falls under the radar but a lot of times it gets overshadowed by like Beetle juices the Batman's uh Nightmare Before Christmas you know his very Edward a hands it gets kind of because it came out in 1994 so it was a little bit after want say Batman Returns and Nightmare Before Christmas so it kind of gets overshadowed but man Ed Woods one of Tim Burton is a fantastic movie man if you haven't seen edw please go check that out edw is a very good movie and it's funny too so it has like one thing I like about him is that he does have a balance as far as the style you know of course it's dark and everything like that excuse me but at the same time there's a humor level to it so yeah Ed will go check that out um number seven man Batman Returns I remember being little guy seeing Batman Returns you know in the movie theater my parents took me to go see it was in 1992 I ain't going to say where I live so I ain't going to say the movie theater but I remember the movie theater and everything like that seeing the big poster and I remember when I went to go see that movie Man absolutely shook me but I would always watching man I remember growing up having a coloring book being at my grandparents house coloring the color like Batman turn when it came out was a big movie but at the same time it did get a lot of push back from the parents because the the toys were at McDonald's and it was a very dark movie Batman Returns is darker than Batman 89 and Michelle Feer uh Michael Keaton and U Dane DeVito all of them did a great job man it's absolutely a fun movie I mean I enjoyed it you know looking back on it even though I don't like it better than his previous movie I still think that Batman Returns you know really good movie at the end of the day you know and Tim really his superhero movies really did trailblaze because the superhero movies weren't popular like that back then you know you had your Batman movies here and there but later on in 2000s you got your Marvel movies and few more DC movies but his Batman movies really did trailblaze a lot you know and his Dan DeVito's penguin definitely stands out so is Michelle's fight for Catwoman one thing I I will say is that this movie focuses more on the villains than it did the hero and that's one of the reasons why I really didn't I loved him but I really looking at his Batman movies back then I thought Christopher Nolan did a better job focusing on Batman and leaving the villains as the sze even though they were great and I think in this in Tim's movies he was more focused in love with the monsters you know what I mean which leads to my number six Sweeny Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street this is a musical man this is a very good movie very good movie man if you haven't seen Sweeny Tai go check it out man great songs Johnny Deb of course another Tim Burton probably like his number one actor that everybody knows man Tim Burton and Johnny Deb man just a great du and Johnny Deb killed it man Helena Baron Carter she's in this one again so this is a very good movie um Alan Rickman you know he was in there as well very good but very violent I remember this came out like in December 07 06 0706 I want to go check it out course you know I'm a big Tim fan saw on the was like dang man this Jo is wild bro you know bro killing people and turning them into PS man so it was wild overall man I really did enjoy the film it was a very good film man like I said falls into that Victorian era like Tim loves that like that that era you know what I mean but at the same time and I think it's all for play too I want to say it's based off for play so yeah sweene Tod The Demon Barber Fleet Street very good film man uh I got it at like I said my number six man so right now that's my 10 through six of my top 10 look for part two you know 5 through one of course I'll throw my honorable mentions there as well you know if you have your own list you know your favorite 10 bur movies man hey please leave it in the comment section don't forget to like share and subscribe to the channel
