all right hey guys welcome back to another video so I have a habit of cutting things kind of close uh to when they're supposed to be done and the Apple event is on September 9th which is 2 days from the recording of this video uh so I'm pumping this out as quick as I can now there's a few things to talk about of course uh it's name is it's glow time which is kind of a play on words from It's Showtime uh and I think there's going to be a lot of fun stuff to sort of discuss and um I do want to clarify all the information uh from this video was sourced from the Mac Rumors website so I'll leave a link in the description for that if you guys would like to go check out that website but without further Ado let's hop right into it all right first up for the base iPhone 16 nothing crazy if you look at the photos they have the cameras arranged sort of top and bottom uh which I and many of people believe is to enable spatial video uh like we got with the 15 Pro Models uh and then a couple new colors they're more saturated than normal so I guess that's kind of a nice change to have them a bit brighter but we're hearing rumors of things like the capture button where when you kind of hold your phone in landscape there'll be a button that rests right where your thumb or pointer finger is uh which feels kind of redundant because we have the volume buttons and we can already program them but I I don't know may maybe they'll put good use to it um but for the most part the iPhone 16s are are pretty you know expected uh hearing things about maybe making the the the bezels a little bit shorter which is it's fine uh We've also heard things about the phones themselves being bigger screen wise uh so we're talking maybe like instead of 6.1 in it goes up to 6.3 in which is a welcome change I know some people like smaller phones which might be kind of an issue for them but for the people that like larger phones that's great now I think the fun part that everyone's kind of looking forward to is the iPhone 16 Pros uh and supposedly you know I we've heard things of people calling it the iPhone 16 Ultra for the biggest and best phone um but either way the rumor suggest these screens will go up to 6.9 in which is definitely a larger overall screen than the current 6.7 in like it's almost like that's we're starting to approach many iPad territory so I think a lot of us think a good chunk at least of this Apple event is going to be apple intelligence focused uh that almost kind of just makes sense as the last Apple event had a lot of Apple intelligence in it which of course means that these next phones will come suited with Apple intelligence which I find it a little bit funny because when these iPhones get released they'll of course be released on iOS 18 but Apple intelligence isn't coming until iOS 18.1 so we're not going to be getting Apple intelligence when these phones first release which is a bit interesting um but these phones will of course have most likely the new A8 Pro chip uh which will have more processing power you know the usual year-over-year stuff and we will better support apple intelligence now to bring back the capture button for a second rumors suggest it'll work similar to a DSLR capture button where you press it lightly to sort of focus everything and then fully press it of course to take the photo uh but people are also saying you'll be able to like swipe your finger across the side of it to control Zoom as well as kind of flip between photo and video mode so I I understand you know with these extra features it definitely does sound a bit better than just using the volume buttons but that's really kind of the main stuff that's rumored for the iPhone 16 is not a crazy upgrade and if you have an iPhone 15 or 15 Pro I as of right now at least I really would not recommend buying an iPhone 16 unless you just have the money and want to of course now the next thing I want to talk about is the Apple watch uh you know people are saying that this is going to be the first time where Apple sort of updates all three Apple watch models at the same time we're talking SE series 10 or series X and then the Apple watch Ultra now there's a lot of of talking about these Apple watches so let's just start with the the Apple watch SE now we've heard some interesting things uh about the Apple watch of course and one of the rumors is suggesting that the Apple watch SE gains a plastic outer casing you know where of course before it was aluminum and so you know you kind of go into that thought process of like okay it's plastic it's safer for kids but you know the the screen is still going to be glass so I'm really not completely sure why it even matters and it might just make it end up feeling cheaper um so we'll have to see of course what they do with that now the next one I think everyone is the most excited about maybe is the Apple Watch series 10 now 10 suggesting this is actually the 10th Generation of Apple watch and I would assume they're going to do something kind of big for it because it is 10 years and uh we've seen a couple things there's actually a leaked photo I saw on Twitter where setting up a new Apple watch in iOS 18.1 displayed this Apple watch that had much smaller bezels than before which is one of the rumors U suggesting that like how the series 7 brought you know thinner bezels and stuff the series 10 may bring thinner bezels you know even more so as well as a thinner and smaller body uh interesting of course you know we have to see we also have to see kind of like what it does with the price tag as well and then the Apple watch Ultra might be the most boring of the changes uh it sounds like it's mainly just going to be like internal uh update focused instead of anything really external and then lastly Apple intelligence with the Apple watch it doesn't sound like there's going to be really any Apple intelligence as of right now of course Apple intelligence is not on any of the current Apple watches not even the Apple watch Ultra 2 or series 9 um but there may be some slight under the hood Apple intelligence esque features you know maybe some Siri improvements stuff like that so we'll just have to see and then lastly the main thing rumored is going to be airpods uh I have not heard anything about the iPads or Macs I would assume you know the way Apple's done it in the past is have either a press release or a smaller event in you know mid late October so that's kind of where I would expect those but as far as airpods are concerned not hearing anything about the airpods max which is sad I I really would love to see some airpods Max again but I just I don't know that that's going to happen would be great if it did though now apple is planning for air pods to almost work as hearing aids and also become a device uh that tests your hearing abilities which is interesting it'd be kind of cool to see how they pull that one off but they're also saying that uh the company Apple has experienced certain delays in in that factor and so this may not even be an available feature for the next little while but we're just seeing some smaller things like maybe new airpods 4th generation nothing crazy really uh you know I don't know that we'll see new airpods Pro because we just got some somewhat recently like within the last year uh so relatively small upgrades for the airpods but of course still will be interested to kind of see what happens uh and see what gets upgraded but hey that's been it I'm excited I can't wait to see what's going on in this event and maybe we'll get some cool stuff maybe some more Apple intelligence news um of course I'm sure Apple will gatekeep some of the Apple intelligence features specifically to the iPhone 16 that's been it uh I'll see you guys in the next one see yeah bye hi guys
