Marines were attacked by a mob on the streets of turkey video of the incident which occurred on Monday afternoon shows the mob holding on to these two US Marines keeping them from escaping one of the Marines even shouts for help the mob puts a bag over the head of the other Marine which you can see in the video the crowd then begins to chant Yankee go home according to local authorities the mob were members of the Turkish youth Union a nationalist anti- American organization that has protested US service members in the country and even in the past tried to put bags over the heads of other us the Marines were able to get free with the help of other us when it stopped in ismir Turkey for a Shore leave that's when these marines were in the town of ismir when this incident occurred local authorities are working with NCIS to investigate the incident
