hi brch here where Tech is Made Simple so back in March of this year as I posted Google announced that it would be rolling out an optimized version of Chrome that would run natively on Windows 10 and windows 11 PCS powered by Snapdragon processors basically Windows PCS with arm CPUs which according to Google um would make browsing the web faster and smoother using Google Chrome on Windows on arm now for what it's worth I'll leave that video link down below and in the end screen but just to let you know that if you are tied into the Google ecosystem and are running a ARM device you may well know that if you're using Google Drive the only way to access Google Drive on a Windows on arm PC is currently to use the online and the web-based version of Google Drive because the Google drive desktop app doesn't carry support for window go on arm currently so I may have good news if you are um tied into the Google ecosystem that Qualcomm has recently announced that Google Drive will be updated to support Windows on arm later this year so um that means that obviously um you could move from the online version to the desktop app because I think if you are more using the Google ecosystem it's a lot more useful than just the online version and it's very similar to one drive as you may well know and basically it allows you to um back up your files your folders um it gives you offline access which I currently have uh to my Google Drive all from within the actual file explorer so it makes the whole Google Drive process a lot more native to a Windows device as you may well know now although um they have announced that the support will be rolling out to Windows on arm they haven't given us an an exact date when later this year that Google dve support will be added to Windows on arm but I do know there are some of you who are running on PCS and I do know there are some of you who are tied into the Google ecosystem so if and when I get that um information obviously I'll try and keep you guys um posted ASAP so thanks for watching and I'll see you in the next one
