can I have that that punch because I knew that there were certain drinks that I couldn't have I don't really remember what she told me because I started drinking the punch next thing I know I am underneath the piano just sitting there thinking to myself there's something wrong I don't know what's wrong with me but there's definitely something wrong so I went and I told my mom hey Ma I don't we love him here and I guess that makes me a little biased and I have no apologies for that at all I adore Adam Sandler I've loved him I can't even tell you how long it you know you know I've loved him my whole life maybe you have too but he's a deeper man than we all realize I think you know um but anyway I've got a story for you it's pretty happy uh it's pretty heartwarming and happy uh when my son Colin and I were living here in do we lived at dunbridge right there by the right across the street from the high school in the mid 90s and it was just the two of us I was newly divorced and my son was having a really hard time with the split and as much as I would like to say that he was fine he was not he was devastated uh that was something that I put I stuck my head in the sand and I ignored it and I shouldn't have but that's a you know that's a conversation for my therapist but anyway one of the things that the two of us really liked uh to do was go to the movies it was Mom and suntime right complete with popcorn and everything you know I spoiled him like crazy and I'll admit when Happy Gilmore came out it he may have been a little bit too young to see it but I took him anyway we both laughed until we had tears in our eyes at so many scenes that Bob Barker scene I thought we were both going to pee a little goodness but when the DVD came out it would be one of the only things that really got him to laugh again after the divorce so sad story to be sure but now I you know I hope you understand and Adam understands what that movie means to people we quote that movie to this day don't you want to to go home that's me asking my son to come over and visit me don't you want to come back to your home but anyway we will definitely watch Happy Gilmore 2 together it's coming to Netflix and we're going to have to wait a while unfortunately it's going to be I think 2026 is the release date but hey I'll take all the hype about that movie we can get coming up just
