tracking the wild weather Sonia Melbourne is in the firing line right now yes Karina the main line of severe storms has passed through and is tracking into Eastern Victoria but there are more to come within the hour as a line of severe cells right now rolls into our western suburbs these storms are volatile they are packing damaging winds powerful enough to bring down large trees including one that is blocking the Melbourne bound Lanes of the Hume Highway causing traffic chaos while at least nine flights into tarine Airport have been cancelled early this afternoon severe cells pelter the northern suburbs with heavy rain and large hail it came as those storms formed a Sall line and tracked over the state impacting those in the west right through to the east Bendigo also hit hard pelted with large hail the downpours putting the town at risk of flash flooding as a stream of severe weather warnings continue to flood in this weather we expected get flesh flooding high winds and large hail uh with high winds uh secure all loose um items around the house and please do not drive through flood water Karina I'll be back straight after sport with the latest advice I'll see you then Sonia thank you
