Malik Willis yep former third rounder of the Tennessee Titans obviously didn't work out there when he did get his run as rookie those stats from That season trade to the Packers for only a seventh rounder yeah I love this for the Packers for Malik Willis I think seriously you've got a guy in Matt laflor who is criminally uh disrespected when you talk about the top mins offensively in this league and when you get a guy like Malik Willis he is a ball of clay and you need an artist to come in there and take it down to a fine piece of art and Matt leflour having Jordan love there he has the comfort of knowing that he has a true number one guy and really honest to goodness time to develop this guy Malik Willis because if God forbid something were to happen to Jordan love we saw in the preseason the the step down from one to two was not very pretty in Green Bay so you're gonna have an opportunity to have Malik Willis groomed under uh Matt laf flor's offense and being right there behind Jordan love I think it's great it works out well and he knows he's not going to get his early in terms of coin but there's going to come a time where he may have a chance to earn himself some dough in this league yeah I think a sh move by the pack as well not only because he's a massive upgrade from Sean Clifford but because you kind of bought the develop you kind of lost the developmental years that everyone knew when Malik wolfes is coming out of Liberty everyone's like he is a developmental project the two years of project that we saw and obviously the stats you saw on the screen there that were terrible when he was thrown into the Wolves were the years that everyone knew you were going to have to kind of suffer through with him and now obviously they're trading him because of you know they're not trading him first seventh because he made the leap right he obviously looked poorly for them this preseason throughout training camp or else they're not getting just a seventh rounder in return for him it was G to be their backup but with the Packers and how they've developed quarterbacks over the course of the past 20 plus years which has been the same sort of GM uh front office regime that's been there it's worth a shot I could see him having a real cult following in Green Bay you know they are wacky in a great way about their football in Green Bay and they're even wackier about their quarterbacks and I have to think that with them having their guy in Jordan love they're really good to take to this guy Malik Willis and protect them they're going to try to nurture this Young quarterback back to health like finding a bird on your porch that can't really fly that's Malik Willis right now and they have some falconers in that building so we're gonna see him uh take to the skies as it were
