they're very bulky they look really heavy um but they're not they're super lightweight they're actually only 7 ounces and they don't even feel that much it's less than like a whole full glass of water in recent years football fans have probably noticed the new Guardian caps all across college and professional football we're lucky here we have a very very supportive Administration who understands health and safety comes at the front of Athletics you know we want our kids to be competitive and have fun and win but at the end of the day we need them to be safe now they've arrived D locally with the Liberty football program implementing them this week becoming the first local Ohio team to do so Administration felt that we could make a an impact I guess you would say um in the health and safety and kind of be on the Leading Edge of that they wanted they were all in right away so we were able to get them ordered and here within a week there's already early data from Guardian caps and the NFL that suggest they do in fact reduce impact forces anywhere from 33 to 40% and the players are already all in we had several kids ask if they were allowed to wear them in games which I'm reaching out to ohsaa to find out um they said they felt as sign they didn't have as many headaches after practice um the first time we hit with them they all said It felt significantly better so it's not going away anytime soon these Guardian caps I mean the NFL is doing it you're even seeing it in game so I'm going to be interested to see when they start applying these into real life games for high school students as well at Liberty High School I'm Zach viia this
