Kansas City as it will be Pacho C and Carson steel one of the standout players of the preseason for Kansas City he's expected to be in a running back fullback hybrid role for for this Chiefs team this season and I'm already seeing odds looking to week one that have him for an anytime touchdown at plus 18800 I'm not a betting expert but I would say that might not be a Bad Bet to make as Andy Reed sure loves his guys with versatility Carson steel might just find his way into the end zone week one the wide receiver room for Kansas City includes Xavier worthy rasheid rice Maris Hollywood Brown and juu Smith SM Shuster who the Chiefs just signed on Monday from the New England Patriots making his return to Kansas City where he won a Super Bowl previously other wide receivers include mle Hardman Sky Moore and Justin Watson rounding out the top seven receivers for Kansas City no cadarius Tony he is left off the roster after what was a very up and down 22-month tenure for him in KC we all remember that punt return that he had in the Super Bowl against the Eagles but other than that left a lot to be desired but at the end of the day still a successful trade for the Chiefs gave up a third round pick and helped him helped them get a Super Bowl win uh there a couple years ago the tight end room with the Chiefs moving on from Irv Smith Jr and bringing in pton Hender shot it includes Travis Kelce Jared Wy and Noah gray I'm very intrigued with this tight end room that the Chiefs present here in 2024 and we should see for the first time in quite a while a lot of use of 12 personnel with the Chiefs using multiple tight ends they feel very good about the direction Jared Wy is headed the fourth round rookie out of TCU Noah Gray we've seen some flashes in the preseason so watch out this tight end room I think it'll be very effective for Kansas City the offensive line the Chiefs going with 10 total offensive linemen with uh Hunter and CJ Joe tuni W Morris Smith also Mike cindo Jawan Taylor Ethan Driscoll makes the roster for Kansas City the king he'll be your starting left tackle and Joe Toney also makes the roster Lucas neang gets caught and does not get picked up there was speculation over the last couple weeks that the chiefs were open to trading him ultimately did not find a trade partner he gets cut and does not make the roster for Kansas City likely done in KC panel as well as Derek nauy uh Malik Herring Chris Jones King Felix uh ton Wharton and cam Thomas who the Chiefs just acquired last night in a trade with the Arizona Cardinals the linebacker room the a bit in the regular season or if he's going to sit behind read and cook how much uh that remains to be seen but the very least give some flexibility to the Kansas City Chiefs there in the safety room the Special Teams at unit for Kansas City includes America's kicker Harrison buter as well as Matt Arisa who was signed this off season and then James Winchester he did suffer an injury in the preseason season but Winchester is expected to be okay and should be just fine for week one when the Chiefs open up the season against the Baltimore Ravens on that Thursday night so there you have it
