this one right here right in the center of the screen that one's creeping down the hill that's a hot spot what's up according to Jennifer he has been a long time long time pug started the fire through there let's look at this hot spot one more time it'll be a while before before that fire gets down the hill because it's hard to see but there's actually the there's shoot the fire is on a hill that's kind of like set back and then this these mountains are in the foreground so it would have to go it would have to go all the way down and then all the way up so it'll be a while before that gets near and then this one it's another active Hot Spot well I don't I wouldn't call it a hot spot that's a fire Angel get fires every year hell yeah I mean I didn't mean to say that I mean are are connected so this is uh the S beradino national forest and it kind of stretches pretty far from here all the way to uh uh San Bernardino and then that mountain crosses the freeway and kind of turns into the Angeles National Forest I hear I think that's a helicopter over there see where is it it's definitely a helicopter I don't know if they're going to drop water or they're just kind of uh deciding where where the resources need to go oh it's one of those is it called a chinook it has like two two rotor blades I don't think those could drop water okay went up and over the hill all right in a minute I'll give you the layout of the land this stream's going to go as long as I have the energy I think it's important especially for the locals to kind of get an idea of where the fire is me just show you where everything's at right in the middle of the screen if you go straight ahead like right there that would be um North Fontana North North Fontana is like right around here uh if you're headed to Vegas and you go up the cahome pass Vegas is like the cahome pass is right there this this mountain range it connects to where the fire started in Highland so the city of Highland is right around here and then the fire just kept kept going east through the days and where I'm at I'm I'm in the north part of Uka that town down here to the left on this side of the street is called Menton which is menton's like the it's like the bar Stow of Redlands if you're not familiar with and I'm just kidding if any if anyone here is from Mone that was a joke but yeah Mone M's the bar Stow of Redlands and so we're the fire you're looking at right now it's I I'm pretty sure it's unincorporated San Bernardino County but where I'm parked right now it's it's the city of Uka but for the fire to get to Uka it would have to come all the way down this mountain in the foreground it would have to cross like a two-lane highway so I'm guessing if it does get oh and there's a wash there's a big Rocky wash so the odds of the fire actually coming this way are pretty slim over here but that's the more uh serious area where I think there's a greater chance that the fire deeper into the canyon can can cross the mountain and then slowly get into the north part of Uka I hope not but we're just uh just kind of monitoring I'll stay live as long as I can so you can get an idea where the fire is going once again I I there's no I don't see any uh air support and that's probably because the resources are being sent to protect the town of Forest Falls and Mountain Home Village that's the big concern they probably figure if the fire comes this way because there's that hu that really wide wash and then you got the road the odds of it Crossing or pretty slim so that's probably why they're not bothering putting the fires out although I think I see a home in the path of path of that fire looks like there might be Little Homes right here or maybe there are structures or um maybe it's like a horse ranch and their barns or something or horse stables I don't know and that's where they blocked the uh blocked Highway 38 this is Bryant Street which is still open Bryant Street is wide open and here's another helicopter and I think they're headed to protect Forest Falls right now I happen to have 5G Ultra wideband right now thanks to that see that cell phone tower that that fake palm tree I'm getting a strong signal of a 5G into my phone as well as my brain all right so that really concerns me over here because that fire is getting pretty close to the highway and where there's again I possibly some homes so we'll just monitor that for a minute while I see what you guys are saying lvc can you get me a chicken kebab from the fat Creek is there a fat Creek in mum look at that there's another helicopter it's a weird looking one they got some big choppers I know some of you probably you probably look at uh flight radar you could tell exactly what kind of aircraft they are you could probably tell like what part of the fire they're dropping the water on and you could tell where they're picking up the water from so they just did a circle around okay we'll do a wide angle for a few minutes and those aren't clouds but of course that's what a kind of a normal sky is supposed to look like and then you got just darkness there's that helicopter again I don't know where the helicopter's headed so this is the perfect storm which I was saying a few days ago on my other fire stream with whenever there's multiple fires all over Southern California that just that just Taps resources more obviously so you know you can't have all these different agencies on one fire so now there's a there's one region in Orange County so those are all firefighters that could have come communities up there and if by if some if the wind kicks up the next day or so and the fire if it crosses there's a highway right there Highway 38 if the fire like jumps onto that hill then the whole what they call North bench it's the northern most part of Yuka it's very rural and that area would be at risk yeah Mo I wonder if they're doing that if they're just kind of if they know the fire is going to kind of like stop at the walk wash just let it burn I'm assuming there's no homes in immediate danger right there CU I don't hear any chainsaws I don't see I don't see any water being dropped your pets inside not only because of the uh smoke but but a lot of animals that would potentially harm your small pets are being driven down that driven down the uh that mountain so that's something to consider but you know some animals are more dangerous than others I wouldn't worry about rabbits coming into your yard or anything I'm thinking about driving to that to where you're looking right now cuz all the other little little fires they're really not they're really not growing too big or too fast of course you see that orange glow you know I can't get back there but I I can go let me near here till uh tomorrow sometime and I don't think any homes are immediately in danger thankfully my point of streaming is just to uh show anyone local in real time um where the fires are at where they're headed so uh in short I think Mentone see Mentone seems pretty safe because uh once again there's a huge wash Straight Ahead that's why it's so dark straight ahead that's why there's no uh no developments no lights or anything it's a huge wash so I mean it's the only time it would be where homes and Mone would be in Risk is if it just gets really windy and the wind's coming in this direction just like you know 50 mph wind so I don't which it's possible I mean I'll make a little prediction which I hope does not come true you know whenever there's a uh change of temperatur so like if it's really hot and then cool weather is coming in or it's cool and the warm weather's coming in there's usually a lot of wind associated with it now I looked at the 10day forecast and the next day or two the temperatures are going to drop substantially like instead of 105 in the daytime it's it's going to be as low as like 80° um a week from today it's going to be in the low 70s as the high so that concerns me because you know as the warm air moves out and the cool air moves in um it's usually a recipe for some pretty heavy winds just just for my my uh just from my memory of when there's wind I could be wrong I'm not a meteorologist right but see there's a helicopter that's more towards Highland where the fire started it might be a news chopper as well and a beautiful city lights view dirt and rocks and gravel and so it's I don't think there's any homes between that wash and where the fire is so the fire it would have to get really windy and the fire would have to jump the wash and mountains connect so if it keeps going east it'll end up in Bowmont but again that's the absolute worst case scenario so the odds are pretty slim is it's kind of flaring up I mean that there's a them but that would probably be your best bet but what's what's really scary is um if you look at Google Earth well you're probably familiar with this anyways if you look at Google Earth you can see how Running Springs was is like directly above where the fire initially started so um however it'll probably take a while to get there because it has to go through that uh there's a shooting area so like from Highland the mountains go up and then it goes It goes down again and then it goes up again towards running spring so you're talking probably a few days and by then the weather is going to cool down so I'm I think you'll be safe but but no I'm not um there's if you watch mainstream news I'm sure you see there's there's a news Chopper footage and that's probably the your best idea of where the fire is headed but of course they're usually not alive for very long which is another reason why I decided on doing this stream it's I mean this is all over the news but again they usually don't go live for very long at all oops I still zoomed in sorry about that all right let's try not to get T-boned okay we're going to I'm headed back to my initial spot to see what the fire looks like up there I was prepared to stream all night just to be on firewatch but um I think tomorrow would be probably better look at all those cars to the left tomorrow be better cuz it's probably going to take a whole a whole 24 hours jeez yeah this is where there's like 50 cars parked out anyhow just based on the um the rate the fire is spreading tomorrow I'll have a better idea of where it's at and uh how close it's going to get to Mento again the bigger issue right now we I don't think Menton is a big issue cuz you have that big wash between the fire and Mento I think the bigger issues unfortunately I can't get close to which is the um the fire headed towards Forest Falls and then the original fire that um started in Highland and it's supposedly headed up towards Running Springs and then um but the fire's gone so far east to where if it goes up the mountain from there it would be in the path of of big bear as well okay I'm almost back to my original spot so this right here is where mil mil Creek Road ends and Highway 38 begins so they have the whole Road the whole road is blocked off but somehow I've seen a couple I've seen a couple channels get really close like where they're they're they're side by side with the firefighters so I don't I don't know if they like hand select which media is able to get in or not I mean I maybe I'll check tomorrow if there's not much to see when I get to my spot in a couple minutes my initial spot I'm going to kill the stream and save energy for tomorrow night if I have to be out here all night so if you're not subscribed that far that um I'll have to come back tomorrow and see where where it's at um worst case scenario is the fire oh it's just Blackness now but to the right to the right would be the north bench of Uka um so if the if it gets windy and the fire hops if it hops High 38 and uh the north part of uky could potentially be at risk so I'll I'll keep an eye on that tomorrow but as you see here there's just that's that's the place I was just at it's just creeping down towards the wash and uh I put this back in the holder and I'll say goodbye so I could feed the feed the pugs at home and save energy for
