I'm here with Tom burges first try score of V the dogs it's good to be off the Nery run yeah mate you know it's always nice to get a try especially first try is sometimes good just to get the team on the board and take a bit of pressure off but um you know I was really happy about that yeah sort of uh my first start for the year so I was happy to be able to add something to the team well I just going to say that so J do switched you into the starting side and I think it work well yeah I mean um we spoke about it already and you know I'm not precious about starting or going off the bench I know this sometimes tactical so we you know we approach each week with uh with that mind in mind but we just got to yeah see how we go so you're about to play a 230th game for S and you just mentioned it but do you prefer to start or you just happy to do whatever JD wants you to do the coach I'm might be yeah to do whatever is best for the team you know whether that's Off the Bench or starting OB say I want to I want to um have say in the game I want to impact the game so um sometimes that'll be starting and at other times you know we'll we'll talk it through the week and see what's uh what's best but I think that open communication is something that's you know really good for us a much needed win against the dogs I imagine that was a good confidence boost for everyone in the club yeah it is mate you know obviously we're in we in the the sort of results sport you know your results you based sort of judged on your results so you got to get the wins and um obviously we didn't start out where we wanted to start but like I tried to reminding the boys through the week you know we we didn't start probably the way we wanted to start in 2014 10 years ago so we uh I just quick reminders about that and you know we've been in tough positions before and come out the side other side of it so yeah it's always just about reminding The Lads of that and they're not getting too caught up on you know getting down in the dumps and I just saw coach JD he's all smile so it's it was good for him to get the win too I suppose yeah you know JD's pretty happy block for through the week he obviously uh he wears his heart and his sleeve so sometimes they catch him emotional but especially after a loss but if you know like I said he's usually in here bouncing he's got pretty good gratitude of what he does and and where he is this is your last year at the rabbitz then you're heading off to play for huttersfield after 2020 for 3 years yeah that'll take you to around 35 years old it's a long career mate yeah mate well um you know I thought not getting any younger so but like yeah I'm really happy to have of uh you know put pen of paper before the season started made sure everything was wrapped up so then I can really just sort of focus on this you know my job this year and not have any distractions even though I'm pretty focused guy it can be quite distracting when you in contract talk so that was a big one for me just making sure it was sorted before the season and now I can really give my all and know it's my last year at this house yep and uh yeah and then worry about England when it comes so yeah I suppose you're just concentrating on this year but you know 35 years old as a prop I think you'd be just about done by then when you're around 35 oh you know I think yeah I'd be happy with 35 mate yeah cool is just the number though yeah all true have you decided if you're going to be staying back home in the UK or you going to call Australia home once it's sitting done oh I've made it pretty known that I'm definitely com back to Australia um you know this is my home now bunnies have always been my home I think since I moved here find it hard to go and play for somewhere else in the NL so um you know I've made that call now but yeah I'm definitely coming back to Australia when my 10 years done in England and I coming back here yeah I'll be back in my house whatever just renting my house out if anyone wants to rent it three years and I'll be back and you'll probably get the Aussie accent one day maybe well I'll definitely be Yorkshire after I come back mate so if you interview me in a couple of years might not bit understand me but but man I'll be back for sure I'll be backing around head that's for sure good on you Tommy good luck on Cheers
