Pep Guardiola DOES NOT Rule Out Managing England In The Future Ahead Of The Community Shield! 👀

hello afternoon guys welcome back same process as ever with MX on either side if you can raise the hand so let us know you like to ask a question we come to as many views we can set go partway through for 10:30 this evening Simon please hi pep uh hope you're okay um the last time you sat in front of us in that seat was to look forward to a game against Manchester United which didn't go so well even though tomorrow is a preseason game how important is it to win the match it is good morning to everyone nice to see you again uh yeah it's important the final against United but uh a part of that is to try to refine ourself um you know step by step our break for most of the players and and uh yes seeing the young young players how they behave in big a stage in a good game and yeah we go for it you obviously didn't have the players who uh played a long time at coper America and at the Euros with you in the United States how many of those players will be available for tomorrow and also bearing in mind your season with the club World Cup is going to go 48 weeks how hard is it to going to be for the players and also to make sure that they get adequate rest to be able to get through what is going to be the most arduous season of all we try to give them the the best rest as possible as much as possible we would like to give them more time but is what it is but we get them a lot so all the players came back and England players and rodary will come back next week so so we would like to give them is what it is and about think sched is better don't think about the schedle so I don't see the picture is what's next training session and step by step so otherwise you oh my god what what is going to happen so it's just step by step next game and try to be smart enough to the training the right amount of time so be fresh in your mind so fresh rotate the play it as much as possible and game by game and we'll see what happen uh pep good afternoon um this week the club has agreed a fee with Atletico Madrid for Julian Alvarez um I guess it's a lot of money but was it just too much to turn down what are your thoughts on that potential deal uh first of all I want to say the Gratitude from Julian I've been two years here we won everything together and his contribution have been massive being part of the start 11 and not being part for sometimes in the certain moments um it was incredible is incredible love with the team for his behavior so but like I said many many times with the players he W to leave he won a new challenge Atletico Madrid is a top top club in Spain in Europe and and when they suggest me through the club that he want to leave I said it's okay if you want to leave I was Happ imagine to stay here when he doesn't want to stay but in the same time have to reach an agreement with the both clubs it's happened both clubs are happy wish him all the best uh looking forward to see him back to say bye to all of us and uh yeah nothing more than that so it was a joy to work with him I learned a lot of him because the manager learned a lot with the players and and hopefully he can find what he was looking for so I think you said um that you would only go into the transfer market to replace a first team player does this count as replacing a first team player what are the chances that you do bring someone in to replace you I don't know yet we talk every day we see what happen I don't know yet can happen cannot happen I don't know and can I ask you just one final one because today Wayne Rooney has said that you're the very best candidate to be the next England manager I know it's something you've spoken about before but I wonder what would need to happen for you to even consider that as a next stage in your manager or your career to be the manager of England I have to decide what I want to do in my life if I want to continue here I want to re take a break I want to be training national teams or not so many things but of course this right now is a way because I'm here and uh as much you ride the competition my energy my energy get rise again so I'm fully I would say excited for the season because I see things that I like it and we'll see it's a new challenge like we were able to break our own record so we break the last season the record never have done it before and now we'll see we'll see what is the ambition of the ourself and looking forward come back all together and start restart and see see how we behave every day thank you hi pep um pep the situation with with Julian Alvarez was it a conversation where he wanted to play more first team football I know he played a lot of football last season but with erling harand being fit every single week it was going to be difficult to play possibly both of the players at the same time was that one of the reasons why he wanted to move I don't know I don't know the reason why he said to me when I knew challenge he felt or feels that is what he has to do and last season play a lot and uh in some moments play with earling as well but I understand in certain moments important moments um maybe he thought he was going to play and I respect a lot so the decisions visions of the play I'm not I said many times I'm a part of the club I said to the club many times at the end the club has the the end decision but I'm not a person like I like to say to the players what they have to do the contract is nice you know have a contract but the contest can be broken if you are not happy why should be here you know you can be here when you believe the happiness is around is around another corner you have to go there to to take a look as much they you know they they take an agreement with the clubs it is not as simple as looks like no say I want to leave I leave no you have to know here with the club because when we hire you we negotiate with the your former Club so it's simple as that but uh it's the same so he believe his period here must be over and okay so both clubs arrive an agreement and that's all
