but there was times that I think he knows that he can say you know what I can step up and be a a bigger voice and a bigger leader we had a lot of veteran players on that offense last year that had played a lot more than him now we don't he is the veteran that has played the most and that has the most command what's it like to kind of put yourself out there and maybe speak up a little bit more and maybe speak a little more loudly than you have in the past you know what's it like to be the quarterback and maybe be asked to do that in a way that other positions don't necessarily have that as expectation yeah for sure he's absolutely 100% earned uh that right that role and that respect from his teammates from his coaches from his peers um and kind of everybody else in college football and um and now this year especially this summer uh when they have the opportunity to go out and do a lot of seven on sevens without the coaches he gets that opportunity to really put his touch his voice and kind of his spin uh on a lot of what is happening with the offense
