it was pretty clear that he was in pain his 59th pitch of the game and I thought it was an ankle at first but it's clearly lower body they diagnosed him with the hamstring strain relatively quickly they're going to have an MRI Monday I will be shocked if Lis Castillo makes his next start hamstring strains just especially for pitchers are not something you're just coming back from well for anybody you know he has five days but I would guess that Luis Castillo is not going to return soon I'm not saying he's out for the year that'll depend on the grade and the severity of the strain that's bad that is very bad and disappointing because Luis Castillo you know 3.64 ER you take a look at it and say ah Lis Cas steel has been so much better than that and know and on top of that he's a good dude who we don't want to see get hurt so that's a bummer I would imagine Emerson Hancock takes his spot in the rotation if they can do that they do have an off day tomorrow so you can Finagle a little bit you can make the adjustments but I would still be really surprised of Luis Castillo in fact I won't be shocked at all if he threw his last pitch of 2024 hope I'm wrong but we'll find out that's awesome to see they need him to get going not only for the rest of this year but to feel good about him for next year because he's going to be in your lineup next year so it'd be really nice to losing that tiebreaker because of how unbelievably poor they played against Detroit they shouldn't have won a game against Detroit took a terrible play by Ryan valade in order for them to win one game against Detroit o but it's three and a half and it's three wins it's three wins that you're behind the Minnesota Twins now and it's tied with Minnesota or Detroit excuse me BR and slip which will thinking one of the two and I just want to go over the twin schedule because we've gone over a bunch of the Astro stuff they get the Angels this week favorable they get the Cincinnati Reds then they get Cleveland on the road they get Boston on the road get the Marlins and then they get Baltimore a chance a chance and I guess we got to talk about Detroit schedule now too right we kind of have to now Detroit schedule's really interesting because they've got the highs and the lows they've get the Rockies this week the Orioles the Royals the Orioles the Rays and then they end with the white socks a white socks team that could be extremely motivated to not break the all-time losing record but a lot of good in there that they play a lot of crap let's go over the Red Sox too because they're only a half game back of SE tough Baltimore New York Tampa Bay Minnesota Toronto Tampa Bay and they have just looked bad heck outside of when they played the white socks and they lost to the White Socks today the Red Sox look out of it anyway I bring these up because you can't give up on the wild card now you're closer in the Wild Card than you are in the division the tough part is the teams but it's just the Tigers and hopefully the Detroit Tigers can just calm down a little bit and I hate to say it now you're rooting for two teams to collapse you're rooting for the Astros to collapse and you're rooting for the twins to collapse there's your shot I didn't talk about it much but it's so nice to see if you could just erase Saturday and I've tried you can't this offense has looked really good lately the last five or so games have been very solid offensive efforts will it matter I kind of doubt it but it's nice to see some life and I'm you're G on to it please hit like please
