Adrian Colbert - The Importance of Giving Back I mean coming back to Mineral Wells was was incredible especially being able to put on my first Camp that's where it all started like without being in Mineral Wells I honestly can't tell you where I would have been [Music] there you go there you go there I got that one I got that [Music] one the five time Super Bowl champion s Isco 49ers select Adrien Colbert Miami defensive back let's make it six guys let's make it six going there and then just being received as I was with love and you know support and I just want to be that be one of those those staple figures from those towns that actually comes back and adds value and supports and you know gives thems as a resource to to kids looking to who aspire to find success and find growth and find openness within their life Adrian Colbert - Football Camp Highlights understand man first and foremost I just I just want to thank God just for putting me in a position of of uh to stand right here in front of you guys today um going into my eighth season in the NFL and coming here and playing in Mineral Wells Junior High all the way through high school and then going to Texas and and transferring to Miami I just want to thank God for that and uh and also thank you guys for coming out here and you know just being present and wanting to participate and and have fun and you know engage and Play and Learn cuz I mean this is a place to learn this is a place to learn more than what you can on the field but off the field as well and to also you know develop skills um skills that'll take you beyond the field it's going to be fun I'm excited show each other respect show the coaches respect ball out baby oh I like the jerseys hurricanes what's up with y'all boys man how y'all [Music] doing why I got to go out everybody [Music] hey all these boys they 0 for nine who want something said H uh keep running keep running B you got to look back my C get your little cousin going he win got B I'm going to give him my whole entire money my whole en money he said he getting all his money let me give you a route do like this you going to run this way and then run that way and look back for the ball you got to look back for it bro I can break his ankles break them off then break them off you got it I get the money and it's right on keep the DU bag up inside my C hold a couple racks tell them I love you you want to be a boss do it like I do yeah get that money on my Flex I get that money I'm a flex I get that money I'm a flex you now rocking with the [Music] best stepping on the gas no break light I got a big dream and I aim high take a r every time I play dice I shake them up and a snake guys I'm the same guy on the same grind busy printing money watch the paint dry my intuition told me through the Great Vine that I'mma get rich and I ain't lying yeah get that money I'm a flex I get that money I'm a flex I get that money I'm a flex you now rocking with the best [Music] oh no he done he done he done his route over with his R over with this my guy you say hi to the camera say hi camera wa to the camera say hi camera you okay being shy you being shy you being shy you being shot you being shy you sh Adrian Colbert - Final Thoughts and Community Impact [Music] sh all right Happ oh man first of all I appreciate y'all I appreciate y'all for coming out and working hard man y'all competed today and it was just super fun to just watch y'all like be respectful to each other uh be respectful to the game come out here and have fun did y'all have fun today I'm glad y'all had fun man next year I'm going do it again and I'm going bring friends with hope that maybe next year that it gets a little bit bigger more people come we we have more things around it and it's more like a day just being around guys like like Von Miller who has a Von Miller day in uh in in theodo every year it inspires me because you know you get kids to you give kids something to believe in you give them you invest in them you invest in the time you invest your time in them you invest these resources into them and you get to see that they're not alone and when you understand that you're not alone and that you have support that gives you the desire that that improves that increases that desire to to work and increases that desire to you know find that success and understand that like I am loved I am supported uh through action versus just hearing it and nine times out of 10 most kids don't really even hear it thank you thank you Mineral Wells Community for support and the love like super happy about the outcome of the camp and I just can't wait to continue to to build on that for years to come
