let me let me go to Matt first something that you might actually have be able to answer we can try okay you've seen the the convictions in Congo uh I have okay so you right I I'll send that off to our kinasa Bureau yeah we've seen them you have anything to say about so um we have seen that a military Court in the Democratic Republic of Congo senten a a number of defendants including us citizens to death um for alleged involvement in the May 19th attacks against the government we understand that the legal process in the DRC allows for defendants to appeal the Court's decision uh Embassy staff have been attending these proceedings as they've uh uh gone through the process so far we'll continue to attend the proceedings and follow the developments closely right do you believe the proceedings so far have been fair I don't want to pass judgment on the proceeding so far because we are still in the middle of the legal process they do have the right to appeal we're going to continue and stay to stay engaged in monitoring uh and speaking to the defendants and and their attorneys all right and sticking on coure cases um if uh a former I believe former um Diplomatic Security Office officer uh pleaded guilty today charges in January 6th you have any anything to say the only thing I will say about that is we fully support the work by our colleagues at the Department of Justice to hold anyone responsible for violations of law on that horrific day accountable for those vi violations thank
