all right coming up next it's the UFC women's bantamweight division matchup well for my money she is as accomplished a striker as any woman in the game at present tonight though got to focus on keeping this fight upright she has to stay on her feet if she is taken down early early it will be a long night for her she has to manage this base she has to sprawl and brawl and she has to fight with that verocity that she is known for it's the aggressive attitude the aggressive approach that she takes that makes her one of the more exciting fighters in the UFC and she told us in our fighter meeting on Thursday she doesn't necessarily want to fight on a napkin in the center of the Octagon right she wants to control distance manage range effectively she has certainly done that every step of the way thus far in her UFC career all right so here she is bate aaka Jessica andrj it was pretty amazing to see her put a Capstone on this UFC career and beat Rose Nami Unis to win the title at UFC 237 she's a real problem here at 115 pounds she's a real problem John and she became a problem when she went down to 115 you saw immediately that the power and the cardio and the pressure and the ability to hurt people in a division where most Fighters aren't knocking them out with one punch was possessed by Jessica andr in being in real and watching her win that title you truly felt the referee her Bean is called a sop contest at 2 minutes 55 seconds you ready to fight all right so here we go with round one two of the best strikers in the women's game today and the expectations are we're not going to see a lot of takedown attempts on either side no take down attempts from either of these young women they both want to get to the C the octagon and start to just let the hands and the kicks fly this is the type of matchup that we always look forward to well she's really putting it all together on the feet DC staying busy and certainly staying accurate she's known for her hands and this is watched and dr's punch to the body looked pretty good but ultimately it gets blocked by the defense nice job there oh really using her reach advantage to land the jab there DC you got to check these low leg kicks man she throws that hook so easily and there it is again so just when you thought maybe she might try to mix it up a little bit not fixing what's not broken don't fix it if it ain't broken it's Landing over and over against and once again throwing the same PA she is such a reverse Striker that that big strike landed and it looks like she's going to finish this fight that one go to end the fight y so just over 20 total strikes in counting that have landed for Jessica andrj andr is now dealing with a cheat cut beautiful punch man how crisp DC is this boxing on Jessica
