It's been a month since a 15 year old boy was shot and killed in Houston. His death happened on the same night where two shootings left. Four teenagers shot to dead. Well, his parents are still waiting for an arrest in an only on Fox Report tonight, the family sat down with Fox 26 Jonathan Mejia, who is live for us tonight outside of HPD headquarters. Jonathan Aidan Bailey was the 15 year old that was shot last month. His family tells me it's a tough reality living without their son, especially with the start of the new school year. It's been very difficult. School started. There was a lot to deal with, just knowing that he wasn't going to go into his, 10th grade year. He was so full of life, you know, outgoing. Everybody loved him. You know, a good, kindhearted kid. Aiden Bailey was only 15 years old when he was shot and killed near West Beltway in Alief. The night he died was an active night. Four teens were shot. Two died, both shootings taking place within two miles of each other, police say at the center of this shooting was money just to clear up my son wasn't going to get any money from anybody. All we know is, a fight transpired and him and another person got caught in the crossfire. Investigators have been able to provide the family with little information as to what happened. That night and who all was involved, including the shooter. But an arrest has not been made. It turns from being sad into very angry because this isn't nothing has happened yet, you know. So the thing is, we need that to happen so we can have closure start to go in the right direction while the family goes on another day living without Aiden. It's another day. They say they will continue to fight for him until they see justice. We hope for justice and the right justice, for our son and anybody else's child out there, we hope that this person is held accountable to the fullest extent of the law. Houston police are investigating the shooting. They're asking anyone with information to reach out to the homicide Division or Crime Stoppers anonymously. We have that information on our website at fox26houston.com
