introduction howdy High it is dor job Sports WNBA picks and predictions for September 6 2024 big slate tomorrow we got four games so let's get into it first things Previous Day Results first we're going to recap the previous day's results we are looking at going 3 and one or 2 and two depending on how the final score shapes out in that Mystics and Mercury game so first game of the day Seattle Storm New York Liberty we had the over of 164 A2 and and the storm plus 7 1/2 points we split these two storm coming back in the final minute to cover the 7 and 1/2 by half a point so got kind of lucky there uh the over however was no good neither of these teams felt like reallyy uh scoring the ball today kind of confused on that one but hey ho whatever we'll take what we can get uh final score 70 to 77 the storm shot 43% from the field the Liberty shot 39% from the field turnovers in this game there were 25 of them the main reason the Liberty were able to win by seven was cuz they got more free throw attempts Liberty got 13 free throw attempts the storm only got six and the storm went six of 20 from Deep the Liberty went 12 of 27 so not the best of basketball from these two teams but we go one in one so whatever the next game Mystics and the Mercury this one is still going on we have the Mystic 6 plus 5 1/2 which is going to hit they're up 22 or no sorry they're up 18 at halftime then we have the over of 165 1/2 which might hit they have 82 points at halftime so if the Mercury can pick it up a little bit and score some more then the over should be all right uh obviously this one's still going on uh these stats so far this game Mystics 20 of 36 56% from the field Mercury 12 of 33 36% from the field with eight turnovers this Mercury team is slowly becoming one of the worst teams in the league they are horrible Britney grinder does not rebound uh Kalia copper pops off every once in a while and then Diana terasi is just too old she has to retire we got to get her old ass out of the league I don't know what she's doing but it ain't good God damn all right let's get into the video MIN vs IND first game on the docket we're looking at the Minnesota links and the Indiana Fever current spread sitting at Minnesota minus 2 and a half over under sitting at 169 A5 here this is arguably the matchup either the day it's either this game or the aces in the sun game but I'd rather watch this one both these teams are red hot since the break uh links seven- one since the break they were able to beat the fever at home about two weeks ago final scoring that game 90-80 fever are also 7- one obviously their only loss coming at the links about two weeks ago they've beaten some quality teams since then uh they've beaten the Mercury they've beaten the storm and they've beaten the sun fever have played the links twice this year both games on the road so this is the first time they're getting The Links at a home spot uh they split the series the first game they won by I think seven points in the last one obviously they lost by 10 with these two teams playing uh such a good basketball right now it's kind of hard to pick a side could I see the fever winning this one outright yes I could could I see the leak the lynx defense shutting the fever down and the link still being able to put up 95 to 100 points 100% I could see nefis nefisa Kier absolutely feasting down low on aiyah Boston I think she wins that matchup really well like I said ly should be able to score the fever's defense has given up 86 points and 91 points in their last two games respectfully klier should be able to control the ball and get them points so I'm going to be betting one thing here and that is the over of 169 A2 if I had to lean to a side I would take the links minus 2 and a half on the road however with the fever just playing so goddamn well right now I just can't take a team to beat them at home so if I had to take a side I'd take Minnesota minus 2 and a half but I'm not betting it I'm only betting all the over of 169 A5 fever have been scoring a ton of points recently they should be able to get to the lyns for at least 85 is and then the links will 100% be able to score in this fever defense cuz the fever don't play defense their toll strategy is get rebound run down Court shoot DAL vs ATL ball next game this is the toilet ball the day this is horrible Wings dream I feel bad anyone attending this game spread currently sitting at Atlanta minus 22 over under sitting 1662 I don't know how they're going to get more than 78 people in this Stadium there is simply no way they are going to get fans the dream have lost five out of their last six games they've been struggling at big time to put the ball in the hoop the wings on the other hand have not been struggling to do that in the slightest they have won three out of their last six games they've been scoring tons of points while doing it they've scored at least 86 points in each of their last five games and most of the times it's way over 86 it is probably mid 90s or the low 100s is way they're scoring I do not think the dream are going to be able to keep up with that pace the dream recently have been struggling to score 75 to 80 points they play too slow they just can't put the ball in the hoop the dream rank last in points per game in the WNBA while also being the second last in Pace and dead last again in field goal percentage you combine all those you're not going to win many games cuz you just suck ass at basketball the wings however are fourth in points per game second in Pace and fifth in field goal percentage now if you were to just take those numbers and you didn't know that the Wings play Zero defense night in and night out you would think they're probably a pretty good basketball team you're fourth in points per game second in Pace and fifth in field goal percentage you have to be above 500 there's 's no way you're not how about they are 9 and 24 and almost definitely not going to make the playoffs how are you 9 and 2 24 with those statistics makes no sense but it does make sense cuz they don't play any defense however in this game there's going to be a big problem for the dream and that problem comes in Tiara maowen the center for the wings 67240 lbs the dream don't have anybody who is going to be able to stop this girl from driving boards and scoring the basketball Atlanta Dream Center is Tina Charles who is at 6'4 and 190 lb so she's given up 3 in and 50 lbs not to mention Tina Charles is 35 years old Tira mowen I don't know the exact day I be honest with you but I think she's like 27 tiarra mcallen's going to have herself a day so I'm going to be betting two things here give me the Wings Plus the 2 and 1/2 points and then give me the over of 166 6 and A2 the wings are going to fly up and down the court they'll be able to score at will and then the dream should be able to score here because the wings don't play any defense they don't play Zero nothing not a zilch so Wings Plus two and a half over 166 and a half yes please next game probably again second LV VS CONN best match of the day or the best depending on which game you want to watch aces in the sun spread is currently Las Vegas minus one A2 over under sitting at 164 A2 Aces finally hitting their stride again they have won three straight games in a row that was after coming off of the break looking pretty rough but uh they've been figuring it out they've realized hey all we have to do is give the ball to Asia Wilson because she's the best player in the world the sun are two- two in their last four games coming off a seven-point loss at home against the storm that game does not Inspire any confidence in me at all that going to be able to stop the Las Vegas Aces from winning this game you got Asian Wilson to defend you're just not going to be able to touch Asia down low she can do that little fadeaway jump shot she's got she can take you to the rim she can distribute she does everything on the basketball court you ain't stopping her in terms of looking at these teams and like a a metrics perspective the aces dominate every single category it's not even close they are first in the league in points per game first in the league in the pace of play first in the league in field goal percentage the sun are eighth in points per game Dead last in Pace and seventh in field goal percentage that ain't very good last two last time these two teams played was all the way back in June so they haven't seen each other in a while obviously that was before the sun acquired Marina Mayberry they're a bit of a different team with her coming off the bench but the aces were able to win that game score of 85 to 74 one thing you're going to look at before this game tips off uh Kelsey Plum she did not play in the previous game she's not listed on any injury report right now but uh she missed the previous game with an ankle injury so if you're thinking about betting this one I would check probably like a half hour before this game tips off make sure she is slated to play and then I would place your bet so I'm going to be betting two things here the aces minus one and a half and the over of 64 and A2 the sun are not going to be able to stop AE Wilson and I don't think they're going to be able to keep up with what the aces got going on offensively I could easily see the aces scoring 90 plus points I don't think Connecticut is going to be able to do that so I'll take the minus one and a half and the over 164 and a LA VS CHI half final game of the day here another toilet bow storm of a basketball team between two awful basketball teams it's the sparks in the sky current spread is Chicago minus 52 you are reading that correct the sky are favored by 5 1/2 points how I don't know over under 163 and a half both of these teams have been horrid since coming back from the break the only positive in this game is that uh Kennedy Carter is supposed to come back from covid protocol in this game so the sky might be able to score some points for once so that is a Plus Sparks played well in their last game only losing by seven points to the fever if they do play that same way and the energy they did against the fever I think they should be able to win this game outright the fact that the sky are favored in any basketball game should be illegal these two teams played three weeks ago in La the sky were able to win that game with a final score 90- 86 pace of play in the previous game was real quick both teams getting over 10 offensive rebounds and shooting 20 plus free throws considering how horrible this guy have looked recently and the fact that these teams played three weeks ago and the Sparks covered this number I think the only thing you can bet here is the Sparks plus 5 and a half so that is exactly what I will be doing I'll be taking the Sparks plus 5 and a half I would take the over but it's the fact that both of these teams are just so bad I can't do it I I can't mentally bring myself to do that so give me the Sparks plus 5 and a half I don't like Angel ree I do like Camilo cardoso and I kind of like Kennedy Carter but Angel Reese can't do anything on the basketball court besides rebound she can't shoot she can't pass she gets too many fouls called on her she turns the ball over a ton
