Kentucky Football Rant, JuJu Brents Injury and Colts Reaction

what is going on everybody Welcome to my channel my name is alula and I like to talk about sports and today I'm not going to have the most happy tone I'm not going to be all you know giddy two shoes no none of that's going to happen okay today we got to get down to business we got to talk about Kentucky football and we're going to talk about the Colts the NFL the eggs we we'll get into all that later but right now I just wanted to spend a few it's talking about Kentucky football okay so Mark stops Mark stops he's our coach he's been our coach for the last decade right maybe just over just under who cares and at first I was a Stoops believer I was Stoops troops I liked what he was doing I like the talent he was bringing in we saw a really great year great season in 2018 we went N9 and three we had a lot of seniors on the defense Josh Allen among others and silly me I you know I really thought that Stoops would just get the offense down and you know 10 years gone blink of an eye right and I'm sitting here in 2024 a few months away from 2025 now time flies and I have yet to see Kentucky have a competent or slash dynamic offense how is that possible tell tell me how that's possible we've had an NFL quarterback a potential first rounder will EV got drafted in the second round but we've had that we've had receivers ju Del Robinson Lyn Bowden right now we have bar on Brown we have receivers that been pretty good yet we have never had a dynamic offense just look around the SEC okay Georgia B LSU okay those teams they won championships they they had Dynamic offenses how about the other teams Lula all M had a dynamic offense Mississippi States had a dynamic offense Missouri had Tennessee had a dynamic offense I mean [ __ ] probably vanderbelt hasn't South Carolina's kind of been ass the last 10 years um I might be forgetting couple other Florida's kind of been ass most of the last 10 years but Kentucky has the coach that that we've had for such a long time I mean a long time yet we haven't improved in the passing game the whole goddamn time I've watched the team tell me how that's possible it's not possible it's it's it should be impossible that should mean the coaches on the hot seat okay you got this guy Brock Vandergriff not a fan of I he just looks scared when he plays but I can't blame him him that much when he has no time the old line was terrible oh my God they were getting right past I mean turn Styles getting right past our tackles guards whoever it was horrible and just this just dawned upon me right I watch the NFL I watch the Colts I believe in them I think they have a chance to win a Super Bowl maybe in the next 5 10 years hopefully same with the Knicks same with Chelsea when I watched soccer all all the teams in the leagues I watch you can turn it around you can you know a couple draft picks couple money spent here and there college basketball even you know you get the right guys right transfers but college football you just the the the best guys go to the same five to 10 schools so it's it's pretty difficult for a team outside of those best teams to win championships so I want to ask you guys the question in terms of the word expect ations a lot of people watching right now are Louisville or Kentucky fans or maybe Georgia or whoever whoever whatever fan you are you have to be honest and be like okay I know that our team can compete or cannot compete you know from the get-go you know from the jump I'm watching this Kentucky Team every season before the season last 10 years I knew we were never going to compete for a playoff spot and now the expanded playoff I was thinking okay maybe if we have a really good season but we would have win more than a game at best so for Kentucky fans how what are your expectations are your expectations being okay with winning seven to eight games and going to the [ __ ] tax Slayer Gator Bowl Outback Bowl you know Citrus Bowl Music City Bowl all these bowl games that don't mean [ __ ] nobody gives a [ __ ] about half the players don't even play in them anymore because they'd rather you know you know be uh be healthy for the NFL prep preparation and whatnot it's just it's just a waste of time I don't give a [ __ ] about the small pole bowl games I'm sorry I I know college football you're supposed to care about the bowl games it's the culture no I want my team to have a chance to compete for the Championships just like the Colts Chelsea and the Knicks that's how I feel and Kentucky just doesn't do that they don't move the needle for me in terms of like my emotions anymore I just I I I can't care I just it and now we throw in this [ __ ] performance I mean sec home opener against the team that you're a double digigit favorite against and you score six the same team that gave up 19 to Old Dominion you score six that's the most [ __ ] pathetic thing I've ever seen all weekend besides Notre Dame losing in Northern Illinois not Notre Dame's another team overrated all the time Notre Dame's terrible I mean in in terms of like where they should be they always I mean you want to talk about expectations their expectations are always right here and they're always just like right here at best I mean they're never a good playoff team no one gives a [ __ ] about Notre Dame kidding me right now so Kentucky football I mean it's hard for me to care anymore just [ __ ] that [ __ ] man Kentucky fans it just depends where your expectations are if you're cool with just bull games that don't mean [ __ ] okay but but if you actually want to watch your team in the best games the New Year's six games then you should be agreeing with me okay if you're on the crowd over here that's fine with the tax Slayer bull okay have fun over there okay that that's good you then you should be all pro Stoops and you should be happy if we win five or six games this year good Lord anyways moving on let's talk about the Colts the Colts there's a serious issue this is a big issue this this might be a now it's not a bigger issue than Kentucky football but this is an issue all right we got we got Juju Brent okay the number one outside corner for the Colts he's out for the year with a knee injury season ending I came out of nowhere I thought he I think he finished the game on Sunday but I don't know apparently it's it's bad he's not going to come back this year he maybe at the back end there's a possibility but that I mean that doesn't matter that doesn't matter right now we're going to be missing our best corner on the outside and I think he's our best corner overall for the whole season Chris Ballard has not done enough to address the issues in the secondary and now we have a huge problem okay look I like Jaylen Jones I think he's a good young corner I think he can develop but I I'm not going to trust him guarding the the number ones on most teams on the outside hell no he's going to get cooked he's going to get cooked Dallas flowers I don't trust Dallas flowers on the outs I mean Kenny Moore even at all these Colts fans they love Kenny Moore big fan on Kenny Moore so was I that ended after the 2019 or 2020 season I mean he can't guard guys he really he really can't okay he's good in zone you know he can he can Blitz and bring pressure he's a good nice blitzing Corner he's a good tackler great tackler he's really good at getting low but in terms of coverage mono imano it's a problem it's a big big issue so now I don't like any of our Corners any matchups going into any game I mean just look at the next three games right Green Bay against Malik Willis thank God it's a backup quarterback that would be an issue Jaden Reed would give us issues Romeo dos Christian Watson they all give us issues next week against Pittsburgh I mean George Pickins he's going to terrorize whoever we have that's a problem the very next week against the Bears Odun Keenan Allen DJ Moore that game has now turned into an issue I mean it was probably an issue even with Juju Brent but at least I can kind of trust him on a side I mean I don't trust none of these other guys and the safeties I mean I like Julian Blackman but I don't like Nick cross I don't think Nick cross is that good of a saf he had a lot of tackles on Sunday and that's because our defensive line and linebackers were were letting Joe Mixon get to the third level of the defense every time how we cannot I mean that's another thing too I mean what a rant this has turned into the dline on Sunday right sure we we got four sacks we I mean we kind we got pressure relatively well I need to look at the advanced numbers but I I feel like we didn't do enough to a CJ strad from what is on our defensive line Lau latu tawon Lewis DeForest Buckner Grover Stewart quiddy pay Dio odbo these guys who have who have produced numbers besides lotu cuz he's a rookie um they just weren't making an impact the way that I thought they should have you know I'm not going to sneeze at four sacks I'm happy with four sacks four sacks a game across 17 Game season I mean do a little bit of math that's like what 68 sacks right 10 Time 4 7 Time 4 yeah yeah yeah 68 sacks so you know I I'm I'm just I'm really hoping that the dline can improve on the run defense and the linebackers Z Franklin and EJ speed did didn't really make that many noticeable plays on Sunday either I'm just hoping that you know our defense can just shell up their run game at least I know our secondary is going to get torched but we should not be getting torched on the ground that that cannot happen we played Josh Jacobs in the in the Packers on Sunday we got to bottle him he shouldn't get more than 60 yards especially with a backup it just should not happen um that's the end of the
