just take us through how this first full week of Camp has going for you yeah it's going good um you know it's hot out there uh but it's hot everywhere so you can't complain about that um but we we we look really good I'm excited about the progress um you know every day we're putting in you know more and more plays um so I feel like it's been going really well I'm excited about just the trajectory that we're on how much is that wide receiver room changed in one year just from yeah um I think most importantly uh we're really close um Everybody um is a is a tight-knit group um you know we all we all love each other we care about each other we're playing for each other um so I think that's the biggest difference um obviously we have talent um but Everybody's Got Talent so how you going to separate yourself from the other schools and I think that's where we separate ourselves coach going off had coach pump made a comment I think last week saying that don't forget about PR W in this room and just I guess how are you finding yourself in in this room finding your Ro among you know a deeper yeah just that grind um you got to be the guy that comes out and works hard every day um that's that's where I separate myself you know I feel like I you know come out and give 100% every day um you I'm going to I'm going to run hard I'm I'm going to run the right route um I think U just knowing the plays um is something big with Coach HBY um you know he always says he's going to play the guys he can trust so I want to be a guy he can trust got a lot of other duties to see you returning funds and also helping with holder on KCK off and extra points you talked to Coach Odum about some take field goals and I try to be I try to be a utility player um you know I played quarterback in high school and um you know obviously I changed a receiver when I came here um so you know I feel like I can do a lot of stuff on the on the football field uh you know whether that's you know holding pun returning you know running down at Gunner you know wherever they need me um so I try to be that utility guy for them you had that big game early on in the season last year and then I mean it just seemed like you know some other guys were getting the ball and stuff were you frustrated at all last year or you know how did you kind of handle having that big game and then yeah maybe not getting the opportunities that you got no I don't think so um you know I was I was you know playing behind a guy who's you know for the Raiders right now playing for the Raiders right now so he was obviously pretty pretty good so um you know I think I was just thankful for that opportunity in the first game um you know I was thankful to you know be on the plane be on the bus to the game uh you know a lot of people red shirt or you know don't even get to go to the games um so I was just grateful for that opportunity I was never frustrated or anything um I learned a lot from Tulu and uh he gave me the opportunity uh in the first game to go make up a plays at the same time do you feel like you know this is a chance for you to break out this year and your two yeah you know I think everybody wants to break out um so I think that's everybody's goal that's obviously my goal um you know I hope you know all of us all of us break out uh so um yeah to to your question yes I I hopefully I have a breakout season but um you know I want to win Games first first and foremost what's it been like just this past week splitting time between working with receivers and doing Special Teams as well yeah um you know it's obviously a grind but like I said I like being a utility guy I like being somebody that can put in different places um so that's something that I take pride in You've Got U a lot of new fures in that secondary to backfield there some guys over there that kind of give you some trouble and catch your attention yeah well obviously you know Isaac Smith he was my roommate um last year and we're really close I think he's a guy that um got a lot of rep reps last year I think he's just gotten better um you know he's a big hitter and you know he comes down and makes plays uh and then bro uh stands out to me I think he's a guy that tackles covers he can kind of do it all he's smart um so I think he's a he's a general back there for him um there's a there's a bunch of other guys um that I can mention but those two stand out to me watching the drills today it seemed like this office isign get the ball to everybody tight ends are catching the ball running backs catching people running the ball around just seems to be no real one thing to focus on offensively yeah uh you know I think we we're able to spread it out a lot that's something that coach leby does you know you see us you know running on and off the field you know getting guys fresh um so I think that's something that uh coach provides is just the ability to spread the ball throughout the field what did you learn from Tulu last year being R yeah um I think Tulu was a guy that uh you know I think you played fast obviously um that's something that uh you can kind of catch yourself not doing as a freshman um you know you can catch yourself thinking a lot and I think I learned from him just go out there play Fast play football um and the plays will come to you watch your coach bu this preseason he seems a lot more excited this year than he was last year like like he's got a lot of tools to work with now yeah you know I think he's uh he's fired up you know just like everybody else um he's a great coach he um you know he's done a lot for me uh just as my transition into receiver so I'm really thankful for him um he gives us you know the tools to go out there and make the plays you from Tren Hudson so far yeah Trent TR a a guy that can really go up and get the ball um I think we've seen that from him several times this fall Camp um you know if if he's down the field he's one of those guys that you know you see him down the field you kind of just throw it up to him so I think he has a big play ability for sure what do you like the most about this offense um I think it's our our ability as you know he kind of asked to to uh just throw it anywhere um I think you know we're going to stress defences you know where that's short passes long passes you know across the field handoffs I think we're just versatile in what we do
