Ange Postecoglou’s disappointed post-match interview after 2-1 Newcastle defeat

and thanks for joining us uh you must have be wondering how we didn't win that let alone lose it yeah look um sort of similar to our first away game um you know we certainly um should have got the more out of the game than obviously what we have and um you know again it was a tale of sort of controlling the game for the most part creating a number of chances and uh not taking advantage of that you know in in the days ahead when when you break it all down what what sort of things are you looking for from that game to sort of turn performances like that into into wins not too much different apart from the end product I guess and um like I said it's not an easy place to come to you know the supporters here create a really strong atmosphere for the home side they get little things go their way and you got to ride that tight and I thought we did that you know there's very few times where you know I felt we were at all under siege and you know play the game in their half you know there a couple of transition moments I thought we handled really well and then like I said the number of chances we created we should have really got something more Happ yeah well it ended I'm sure you know but it ended 20 efforts on goal today to their n yeah um and it wasn't just the 20 efforts I thought it was you know more times where could have tested you know the K even more so as I said it's been t a little bit so far but at the end of the day it's it's a good performance um you know good football some um strong individual performances as well and we've got to we got to just keep banging that talk just the last word obviously Ru came in today how did you think he got on yeah I thought he did well I thought he handled it you know see you they challenge here as I said um you C sort of you Crea all sort of um strong atmosphere and I thought he handled it well um you they've always got you know some threats up front particularly gave these space and a couple times I thought he handled it really well um so I thought you know it's a great experience for him me he's still only 22 and uh he going to play a big part in our season and U I think getting through that will will hold him a good step thanks a
