I think that he gains a lot I mean just you know not being from the state um and coming in is obviously a little different I think he's got more time to grow his like pride and and and love for the University obviously he loves the the university and loves the longh horns but you know kind of being able to sit back and watch I think that is it's a different it's different than playing um so him seeing kind of what's going on from inside but also outside I think that he can get a lot of Intel from that and then obviously another year to to learn the offense and just get more comfortable um within the smaller details I think I mean there it's like the best situation for him I think we really enjoy each other's company in that quarterback room we're in a quarterback battle but at the same time we're all hanging out on the weekends you know going to dinners um enjoying each other's company so yeah football football means a lot to all but um being being good humans I think means more we take it one day at a time we understand what we want to accomplish and we've kind of set our minds on um obviously the championship but also January 20th the national championship game so you know that's that's what we want that's what we are gonna um hold ourselves to so you know I know we're all excited to to get to the SEC and I've always you know wanted to to play in the SEC and you know for for Texas first season in the couldn't be more excited
