well I said in my last Celtic video the transfer news was going to be fast and furious and it sure has Celtic have done a two deals today alone roll it hello everyone welcome in welcome to the costic fan I'm Corey costic and for the final time welcome to my current studio um I will be um moving on this Saturday so um I will have a new studio we'll see if I have it up and running in time to recap the Rangers match I'm really hoping that I do um we'll see we'll see but that is not the news at hand the news at hand is Celtic have done two deals today uh the first one being reported by Sky Sports as Arie angles coming in from alburg Celtic have once again smashed their record fee for an inbound transfer this one to the tune of1 million um so previous previously we had smashed our record inbound transfer fee with Adam um for a 95 million pound deal now we have done a 11 million pound um an 11 million pound deal for Arie angles out of the Bundesliga so um here's your Matt O'Reilly replacement um you know this has been someone that Celtic have had their eye on for a minute um he's 20 years old very young has a ton of potential sounds like he's going to be an absolute beast in the Midfield this is a fantastic signing for Celtic um and you know between adamita and um AR angles this is still less than what they sold Matt O'Reilly for this doesn't include uh numerous other sales that they've made so they still have uh money to play with here and what did they do in that regard they go and sign Defender Austin trusty now Austin trusty I am a little more familiar with uh as he was a um he's a he was a defender in Major League Soccer for uh Colorado if I'm remembering correctly yes for Colorado and then after that he got sold to Arsenal after Arsenal you know he goes to Birmingham and then he goes to his current club which is Sheffield United and now he's apparently on his way to Celtic um this was reported as a 6 million pound transfer the you know and then you know there's the addition of the left back that we got from Barcelona um Alex valet if I'm not sure if I'm saying his name correctly so forgive me if I butchered it but um yeah yeah Celtic addressing the direct areas of concern um I would like one more Defender as a backup cuz I think we all know that Liam scales is not good enough um especially with now we had our Champions League draw today and you know we have some winable games in this Champions League we could have some very exciting times there's a real possibility of knockout football it's up to Celtic to take advantage of it so I'm very pleased with these deals that Celtic has done um to bring in Talent where it is needed the this is finally finally the board backing the team the way they need to be backed in order to compete in Europe I want us to help build Scottish coefficient in Europe because frankly the way that Europe has gone for the SS since I started watching them uh granted I've been watching Celtics since about consistently watching Celtics since about 2016 now and we we've been poor in Europe I don't think I've ever seen us get out of the first knockout round and that's usually like Europa League I've never seen us get through to the Knockouts in the Champions League that's what I want to change this season we have the talent to do this especially with SL Bros Slava young boys um like we we have winnable games Den zagreb's another one that we're going to be playing this is a winnable series of games for us I think we can do it and I think we can get into a knockout round playoff that is my ideal scenario for Celtic it's been a busy day for the club between these transfers and champions league so with these new transfers and Celtics still snipping around um was it Alvin Sanchez I believe his name what is your thoughts on this and compared to the signings and the deals that Rangers have made are Celtic about to walk this league let me know below like comment subscribe I am Cory costic this has been the costic fan mom the Hoops the Rangers I'm ready for Darby day this weekend let's go see you next time I can't make it make sense it's all l my head I'm doing what I can with the mess that I am
