Austin based Oracle has agreed to a $115 million settlement in a class action lawsuit and some of you might be eligible for payment. The lawsuit accuses the tech company of tracking consumer activity on and offline and selling individuals data to third parties without their consent. Oracle maintains that its practices were lawful. Today, the company agreed to settle the lawsuit. Anyone living in the US whose personal data was collected by Oracle advertising between August of 2018 and now could be eligible for a payment claims must be filed by October 17th. The court now still has to decide whether to approve the settlement that hearing is set to take place in November.
