[Applause] how how many meters Chester about 20 M oh [ __ ] he's close yeah he's close I'm going to move up two two boogies you see them got him there's a man with a gun over there telling me I got to beware time stop children watch that s everybody what's going we're just focusing on you the shooter this weekend um there will be a portion where you're on the patrol Lane where the uh Lane safety Chester uh will be your fire team leader he has blanks and he will be moving with you and giving you fire commands and helping talk you On Target just like we would in a fire for gate one which is the individual uh rifle Marksmanship portion what we're doing is we're building a baseline data set so that we can adjust our qualification portion okay primary focus we're looking for is safety uh and specifically weapons manipulation so you're going to go through a qualification portion this morning uh alt C Target it's the Army qualification okay it's it's pretty simple it's basic um and and being a prior service infantry man I'll say that everyone should be able to pass the minimum standard and we'll explain what those standards are okay um it's not it's not hard guys what it's testing is can you acquire a Target can you safely uh manipulate your safety selector switch can you engage that Target and then can you uh put the safety selector switch back on to safe that's it that's really what it's testing oh and then can you reload a magazine okay um the second portion and and that that is a there are codified standards to that the second portion is the dynamic shoot we don't have a baseline yet so one of the things you guys are helping us build today is collecting I'm collecting data on how many uh rounds you fired how many rounds you hit how long it took you we're getting data on the Range design so we after this we'll have a schematic so we can see distances Target arrays and we can do a little bit of range math to start understanding okay how do we take a group of guys who have some skill we're not novices and that's one of the reasons why you guys got invited is you guys aren't novices on this um how do we take that and establish a baseline standard so that we can move into Collective live fire okay so I'm not looking for Sharpshooters marksmen I'm not looking for dead eyes at you know 600 meters I need you to be able to safely uh to acquire a Target identify that Target and then safely engage that Target and then safely move away from that Target while you're a member of a team and in order to do that we have to first watch you do your portion of that in a safe environment okay so number one don't rush it's okay no one's no one's going to fail this all right we're going to coach you on to the standard uh for uh the first few tables here we'll we'll get through that and then the rest of the tables uh we don't know yet we don't know what that standard's going to be and you're going to help us build that data to adjust from okay um what are your questions uh for for today or at least for this morning contact front 20 me one man 25 M one second [Applause] target two guys down two down one guy down good to push Target 25 me good to push go ahead hey jackon [Music] contact [Applause] left [Applause] s Target 25 M I got one I see two two where uh left or right of that one right to the right by the tree by the tree got him there's another one further on I believe okay you want me to move up move up oh yeah I see another one all right that's three that's three can we move up good I'm being like the really lazy Buddy [Music] Team for [Music] [Music] I got one [ __ ] y there's a second one here huh y should see should be one more to the left of that I think I'm going have to move up go ahead that's three there reloading is that it I don't think it's it oh [ __ ] there it is that was the big one all right is that it
