and good evening everybody thank you for being with us I'm Eric Fink the wait is over the Brent Brennan era is underway as the Wildcats open their season tonight here at home against New Mexico now the game didn't kick off until shortly after 7:30 tonight but tailgating that started much earlier as thousands packed them all before heading into Arizona stadium and there's a ton of excitement for this season the first in the Big 12 and tonight marks the open for Brent Brennan who comes to Tucson after having spent six seasons at San Jose State fans are pumped for Brennan and this new beginning I have season tickets um but I'm excited home home opener new conference you know it's good day good day don't know much about him but he seems like a genuine guy and they say and U I'm tailgating with a couple of the players's parents and uh they love him you know he seems very genuine and uh they're excited he's the greatest guy I've ever met I've hung out with him hundreds of times already he is awesome through and through he's got Wildcat blood through and through he is going to take us to the next Lil he's the guy and the cats are leading 41 to 24 right now in the third quarter early third quarter Sports Anchor Jenna thinkink is at the game of course she'll join us live in just a few minutes
